    Worked a treat.
Added one pod to the pump/filter in june. Cleared up the pond nicely within two weeks. Didn’t follow instructions to add another pod two weeks later, but small signs of blanketweed were slow to appear (October), then just removed them manually (the pond is bath tub size). WIll add mroe pods in late spring and see what happens…

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFinally something that works ...
I am a pond owner of 2 years and did not know to expect extensive string algae to interfere with the lovely clear waters of the early days. I have tried all kinds of products following advice and reviews, even sent back a product which online said no damage to fish but on the packaging warned against it. I have now used this Blagdon product for 2.5 months. I needed to do it more often than recommended as the water had to be replenished due to evaporation, and I must say, I am impressed. I was moved to write this review as I went to the pond today and there is virtually no string algae …

    Excelle
We inherited an ornamental pond when renting our house and it had been left for quite some time so was pretty gross. We popped these in and made sure all pumps were working and 6 weeks later the pond is now crystal clear and absolutely beautiful again.

    It works !
Following the instructions is always a good idea. It is recommended that a regime of two pods is followed at the start. The weed cleared in about 4 days. Cutting down to one pod ensured a build up of weed a fortnight later. Reverting to 2 pods sorted it out again.

Excellent product when used as directed !

    Easy and effective
I have used these for a couple of years and find them to be the best blanket weed treatment out of all of those i have tried, i have the Blagdon Clean pond Machine filter which combined with the pods keeps my pond crystal clear even though it is full sun, as well as also making tap water safe for partial changes and topping up they feed the pond plants, mine have grown and bloomed far better than before i used the pods

i use two pods a month in the dosage chamber of the filter which keeps my pond crystal clear and the fish happy and active, with no measuring or working out how much to use it is simply a case of dropping the right of pods into the pond and it does it itself

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersEliminates pond weed
Having spent a small fortune over the years trying to get blanket weed under control, I decided to try ‘Blagdon Clean Pond Pods’ as a last resort.
I’ve been using them for over 12 months now, no more problems with blanket weed, the water is not as clear as they suggested and no evidence that they feed my pond plants.
The filter collects more sludge than before and needs cleaning more often, which is a good thing.
It suggests that the treatment should e once per month, I clean my filter every week and treat the pond with 2 pond pods at least once very 2 weeks.
Can’t say that it does everything it says on the information, but it keeps blanket weed away which makes it all worth while.
Compared to everything that I have used previously, it’s a very good product and would recommend to anyone have blanket weed problems.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersThey work brilliantly..
What can I say! Honestly wasn’t sure if these would work but we thought we had a hole in ghe liner so we drained it out what was left and then realised that my pipes had a small leak we live & learn aye, so anyway we filled her up again using the trusty hosepipe & after a month we had algae galore we brought these & pure pond bomb I swear nothing else, after 1 week nothing Really happened then after around 2 1/2 weeks it just cleared day by day the bottom became clearer, every 2 weeks we added 2 more capsules to my waterfall, after around 2 months I stopped & autumn was here so left it.
Roll on spring I had a bit of the green stuff on the bottom coming through thick & fast so once again went & ordered the same 2 items as before & repeated the process… Shazam its only taken 1 week this time I promise im flabbergasted!
So I took a sample of my water to my local petshop Koi Joi guess what they specialise in & guess what only thing I’ve used in my (TAP) water pond is pond pods and pond bomb & the water is perfect apparently couldn’t be better balanced so I highly recommend this product.
