Hi . I just wanted to rave about this !. I’m using it as security, I don’t have WiFi here in the sticks , so I’m just using my tablet and phone Internet to use this and I love it . The picture quality is amazing, the sound quality is amazing, the motion sensors are amazing. I have it running off the mains adapter so it’s constantly on. Can’t fault it really, in a stormy downpour there was a misty patch on the videos so I just dabbec it gently with a bit of looh roll and it sorted the issue out . The fact that you can change any setting from your device , watch videos and don’t have to open the camera up is worth it’s weight in gold , for me it meant I could put the camera up high and not have to worry about getting up there to watch it, fantastic!. I hope it manages winter , might make a box or shelter for it . Great little thing , insurance and piece of mind !. Love it!. Thanks

This trail cam provides a good picture in day time and night vision.

We’re lucky to have a forest area next to our garden so we get a lot of wildlife. It was fascinating to see what goes on outside when the house is asleep. We saw foxes, squirrels and a hedgehog.

You will need to get 8 AA batteries and an SD card as neither are included.

You can download the TrailCam Mobile app which is quite straightforward to use.

The unit is durable and waterproof.

Living in a Rural location we get a variety of wild creatures visiting the garden mostly evenings and night time. Having attached the Camera to a pole in the garden using the supplied strap it has been working well and I can also view what is in the garden from indoors using a tablet which has the TrailCam Mobile App installed.

Included with the camera is the securing strap, Wi-Fi Antenna, instruction booklet and USB cable. Batteries and a suitable SD card need to be purchased separately.

Initial set up using the camera controls in conjunction with App was reasonably straightforward. The first small issue I had was that the App store pointed out that the App wasn’t able to run with the version of Android on one of my devices. I then installed it successfully onto a tablet and was able to pair the app with the camera and access all of the settings.

The camera has its own screen which is accessed by releasing the latch on the side of the camera and opening it. It can be set up as a stand alone device without using the app as all settings can be done on the camera itself. In use, it has triggered reliably whenever it has detected movement and the picture quality for both video and stills is surprising good. The night vision is also very good although it is more of a monochrome output as it is relying on the infrared illumination technology to illuminate the scene.

Using the app allows the user to monitor what the camera is seeing in real time and make any adjustments to the settings. To get the maximum life from a set of batteries I have found it best to set the camera up so that it operates within the desired parameters for a period of time and then retrieve the video and still images from the SD card. Operating it regularly with the app does drain the batteries quite quickly as it needs to power its own Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signal as well as capture and transmit data while fully active.

In summary it is in my opinion a robust and easy to set up Trail Camera which captures images and video which is of good quality depending upon the file resolution settings chosen by the user. The attachment strap is a good length enabling the camera to be fixed to a variety of tree diameters. Rechargeable batteries are probably a better option than having to discard 8 regular batteries each time they need replacing. It works well and I certainly enjoy looking at what it has captured. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is an excellent Wi-Fi TrailCam, its super easy to set up using the BlazeVideo Trail Camera, you can use the buttons on the actual Trail Cam to set this up but its much easier via the app.

You don’t connect this camera to your home Wi-Fi or router. The cameras Wi-Fi connect only to the trail camera app on your phone and you need to be within around 10-12 metres of the camera to connect and view. This doesn’t mean it only works if you are 12 metres, this is only to be able to connect to it from your phone. The SD card will capture and record footage, you can then view and manage the footage on your phone via the app without touching the camera.

The trail camera has its own screen inside if you don’t want to use the app.

There are loads of settings you can configure in the app like choosing photo or video modes, video quality, you can rename the camera, date, and time settings. View the battery life of the camera, see how much storage you have available of the SD card. You can play, videos on the app, download them to your phone from the SD card or delete videos.
The camera also supports sound, so if you have any birds and animals in your garden, you can hear everything which enhances the video recordings. It’s a great wildlife camera.

The trail camera requires 8 x AA batteries and an SD card, both of which are not included. The camera can support an SD card up to 256GB.

Thank you for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful.

I’m testing this out for use at my camp where there’s no cell phone service for miles. It seems to work well and the resolution is very good. I installed Pale Blue Earth rechargeable batteries and they are holding up remarkably well. Now, back to the camera. It has caught numerous types of wildlife in our backyard (deer, black bear, raccoon, me, etc.) from a distance of about 30 ft. and the resolution is very good. I am very satisfied with this trail camera.

If you’re looking for a relatively straightforward wildlife camera that is easy to set up with clear straightforward instructions then this 24MP camera from Blaze Video could be just the thing for you.

The image quality is pretty good and the motion sensing detects movement from a relatively good distance. Works well from a window with no distortion and is easy to mount should you require it.

Easy to download saved files from an SD card but just as straightforward to connect wireless or via Bluetooth. The night vision is effective and sensing is just as effective with adjustability to get it dialed in to suit our needs. It can take still pictures, or video, or set to do both if required which makes it pretty versatile and helps to ensure that one or the other captures a good result.

in summary, it’s a great little wildlife camera at a reasonable price that I’m more than happy to recommend as I’m more than happy with its performance overall.

    All the bes

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersImage and video quality is good. Motion detection works well. The app is convenient. There is however a bug in timezone working making it difficult to only use it for a set duration each day. When I have the timezone set to Sydney, the time is not correct so it doesn’t turn on and off at the correct times and image timestamps are also obviously incorrect. Result is that I need to run it 24/7 and chews through batteries far too quickly. If I look at status, it will show it is set to a US timezone even though it’s set to Sydney in settings.
    – Update – Set the time directly on the device and don’t touch the settings in the app and it appears to work OK. App status will likely report that the camera is set to a US timezone but it looks like that can be ignored.
    – update 2 – lifted rating from 3 to 4 based on seller offering a refund. Given the camera has identified the critter stealing my tomatoes, I am not pursuing that option but raised the rating due to excellent customer service

Works well and easy to set up. Line is sight is important to review captured data remotely but certainly beats having to retrieve camera and SD card manually

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have had this set up to check on our garden hedgehog for the last month and it has worked surprisingly well. I like that everything is in one device. It can be used for night shots and day shots and the video quality is not bad. I was surprised at how long the battery’s have lasted as that was a bit disappointing that they didn’t come with rechargeable batteries.
The quality of the picture is nice and clear. Much better than the security camera I have in the garden. You can strap it to a tree etc using the provided straps as well. I have just kept it on the floor and it picks up everything that passes it. Sure there’s an odd capture where the subject has moved past the lense to fast and it’s not picked that up but you can keep an eye on the time stamp to see what goes past and when.
The camera is nice and robust and I can see it lasting a good while. No water has got in it at all and the the camo is good for British forests etc.
Overall is a great camera, it could do with having rechargeable batteries but all was fine for me.
I’ll post some video footage in a few days so you can see the quality of the image.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI ordered this BlazeVideo Game Trail Deer Camera to spy on the wildlife at bottom of my garden.

Arrived in a nicely branded box, unfortunately not supplied with 8AA batteries and SD Card it requires. You need to purchase these items with trail camera to set up and go.

Initial impressions is unit looks like an old shaped Gameboy enclosed in a camouflaged casing.

In realty it is far more than this you get a wildlife camera that connects to you phone using Bluetooth Wireless Wifi.

Easy set up, I have attached case to tree in bottom of my garden facing towards the garden, wide 110 degrees camera opens up catching my whole bottom of garden. Fit 8 x AA batteries into lid of case and switch to witch mode of filming you after after. 3 modes which are picture, video or both. Despite having access direct from APP I have also install at 32GB SD card to record images.

I was concerned about using a battery unit but had no choice as no power at bottom of garden. I am now delighted to have persisted with unit as it user such low power they predict batteries last 8 months, I have used continuously for one month and batteries are still working.

Overall, if you are interested in what is happening in your garden when you are not watching this camera is good fun but also an eye opener. I have 4 squirrels living in my trees and I did not even know. Currently priced quite high.

    I would recommend this product.

Pleased so far with this trail cam. Set up in garden of community centre to mainly look out for the foxes and other night time animals that visit. It’s exciting to see that they do. Set up is easy. The cam needs 8 AA batteries which are not supplied neither is an SD Card. Comes with Bluetooth and Wireless WiFi connection options. Will need to download the TrailCam Mobile app and set up an account to use the WiFi option.
Looks and feels a good well designed product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBlazeVideo Game Trail Deer Camera with Bluetooth Wireless WiFi

This trail cam is straightforward to set up and use, pretty much just like most trail cams I’ve tried in the past. It needs 8 AA batteries and an SD card, both not included in the package, then simply switch it on. It has a WiFi option that I do not usually see in similar products. You’ll need to download the TrailCam Mobile app and set up an account to use its WiFi function. In my case, I used this to track the foxes that occasionally eat the chickens on my farm where there was no internet signal, so WiFi is not an option. The tough and secured casing makes me think that it can withstand rain, but since the skies have been clear recently, I won’t be able to give an accurate comment about its waterproof claim.

Moreover, I’m quite pleased with its picture quality, especially in night mode, as it is clear enough and has decent quality. Its setting can be adjusted manually using the key buttons. I set my trail cam on medium PIR sensitivity, tho it can still detect unnecessary movements. It is too early to say if it is durable, but it could have been better if offered a warranty after 30 days.

Aussi, je voudrais savoir de quels animaux il s’agit et par o ils passent, j’ai donc accroch (grce la sangle fournie) la camra mon vlux pour les surveiller….pour l’instant rien…mais ils finiront bien par revenir.
