Excellent replacement and upgrade
After several years of daily use, this Pro version proved an excellent product to replace and upgrade my original series 9 shaver head. It cuts closer but I haven’t noticed any resulting soreness to my skin – would recommend it!
Makes your razor feel like new
Always wait for a sale for these heads as the local chemist has them for over 50 and there are a lot of fakes floating around. Bought direct from Amazon on a Prime day discount, revived my Series 9 razor, it now feels like new!
Close shave agai
I’ve had my shaver just over 2 years and wasn’t no longer getting as close a shave.

I’ve had a 9 series for a few years and it’s a good shaver. I upgraded from a 7 series. As with the 7 series, I found the head didn’t last the 18 months suggested by the manufacturer, and I was lucky to get 10 months before the shave was too difficult and took too long. The last one lasted less than 7 months and now I’m smooth again. I think some more quality control is called for.
That it is made in Germany not China

Like a new shave
After reading reviews I decided I needed to buy Braun replacement Head, copies are cheaper but reviews show they are not very good. I paid more than expected for this Head replacement but when used, it made my shaver feel like new. It was a compleately different experiance, cutting much cleaner than the old head. There was no nipping or pulling and it gave a lovely smooth shave. I will definately replace again in 18 months time.
I had been putting off buying a new head for my Braun Series 9 shaver because they are so expensive. However I finally bought one at a decent price in the Spring sale. I use the cleaner regularly so assumed that the head was kept clean. Was I wrong?! In comparison to the new head the old head was clogged up and grimy. Seeing that made me understand why it’s been a long time since I got a decent shave. Now I have a shave head which is shiny clean and which provides a smooth and quick shave. I won’t be leaving it for four years till I buy my next shave head. One satisfied customer here!
Perfect replacement shaver head
Despite the packaging stating that this is for the Braun Series 9 Pro shaver it works perfectly on a “normal” series 9 as well, which is fortunate as that’s what I use. I shave at least once a day so my shaver gets a lot of use and I like to replace the head every couple of years, and I’d noticed that shaves were taking a little longer and bits of stubble were being missed, so it was time for a replacement. Yes, they’re expensive, but if you consider what you’d spend on replacement razor blades over the same period.
Worth mentioning that this head is shiny silver in colour, unlike my old one which was black, but it works perfectly and also makes my shaver look a bit more snazzy than it did before.
The Genuine Braun Item
If you own a 9 series shaver this is the replacement head you need. My last one lasted for 3 years and hopefully this can manage at least 2. There is nothing to suggest it won’t either as it is identical to the original and certainly works out better than paying 300 for a new shaver. Highly recommended.
Invaluable Foil Head
I have used Braun shavers for many years and wouldn’t swap for anything else.
Am currently using a Pro 9 Series shaver. My existing foil head has lasted in excess of 18 months which is excellent performance and durability.. just bought this as a replacement. Got it at a very good reduced price.
Shaving!!! Only one negative. The price is far too high. The shaving head always fails.due.to eventual wear leading to inevutabke penetration of the foil, and replacement.is unavoidable, as further use causes injury and damage to one’s face, enough to provoke bleeding, And I think Braun are taking excessive advantage of that !

Review paraphrased from hubby’s point of view. Had his series 9 for a few years now (the one with the cleaning station) and it degrades after a while. He changes the head every year and this was the best price at the time. Official product, easy to change and delivered quickly. Happy Hubby.
Expensive but improved shave
I was sceptical as to how much difference a replacement foil would make. The light on my shaver had only just come on but ive never been that impressed given how much it cost. However thr new foil has made a big difference. Still ridiculously expensive so my advice is save it in favourites and wait for a sale price.
As good as new
The razor head was delivered sooner than the promised date, and it works great. The razor head is so easy to replace and it now gets face smooth with not a hint of stubble. So much cheaper than buying a new electric razor but with the same results. Will definitely be buying again from this company.
I liked the product itself but the price is insanely expensive. I considered just purchasing a new shaver (a cheaper model) but in the end decided to stick with my original model, which still has plenty or life in it and just replace the head, despite it being so expensive. The new head does the job, but it is no better than the original shaver head, despite being a newer model. My main gripe is the price, it’s so not worth it but then again what else can you do when you have an expensive shaver that you don’t want to bin.

Braun Shaver Head
I use the Braun Series 9 which gives a great shave but the foils on the shaver head are very easily damaged. This is the second shaver head I have had to buy in the past year.
Good quality, relatively expensive
This is my third replacement cutting head. It is a revelation compared to the old head, which wasn’t doing a good job anymore. It’s the most expensive yet to purchase, but it does do a good job.

My shaver needed an upgrade as the old Braun shaver head was getting a bit blunt after several years of use!
Replacement head- rattles less than the replaced head.
THe replaced head still cut reasonably well but rattled considerably. My assumption was that with the blades worn down and little springs losing tension time was come to replace it.
The new head cuts marginally better with a lot less rattle but is no shaving game changer unfortunately!

Replacement head is 2 grams lighter?
Not sure what’s going on at Braun, but the price of replacement parts is getting more expensive. Having said that, the new Pro 9 serious replacement head is great. However, with the type of stubble, I have it won’t last six months. Then it will be another 52.95 for a new shaver head. BRAUN get your act together as your product should last longer for the price!

Good replaceme
I have used the original head for around 2.5 years but definitely needed changing. The shaver is still great, so buying this was like getting a new shaver…. I have a 7 series and I changed the head on that at the same time. Recommended

Braun Series 9 Pro electric shaver head
A very good buy at a fair price, a genuine spare part for my razor, it is not a cheap part to purchase, however it was one of the cheapest out their, very happy with the buy
It's silver not chrome!
You can see on some of the photos from other reviews that the head is a silver finish, as opposed to the chrome finish on my series 9! My shaver head was a couple of years old so decided to bite the bullet and replace it, it does seem to have improved my daily shave, but not a massive difference which is probably credit to the quality of the original head.
I have sensitive skin and dry shave daily, in all my years nothing has achieved better results than a good quality Braun shaver.
I have used a Braun Series 9 shaver on a daily basis since 2018, having previously used the Gilette Fusion Power wet shave system. The shaver promised to be the fastest in the world and it mainly lives up to this billing, allowing me to get ready for work more quickly without the faff of having to prepare a bowl of hot water and apply shaving gel at 6 am. However, I did find that the Braun shaver was unable to cope with longer hairs especially on my neck. I tried all sorts of techniques, including the long hair trimmer but they just seemed to elude the shaving foil. I therefore ensured that I did a wet shave at least once a week as a compromise.
Braun have now released the Series 9 Pro. I did some research and found that the Pro shaver head is fully compatible with my old Series 9, model 9292cc. Looking at the two shaver heads, it is quite difficult to see the difference between the old and the new version. The gold Hyperlift and cut trimmer on the new Pro head has a slightly larger gap between two rows of teeth, which are also recessed a little bit further. This has been designed to help the shaver when handling longer hairs, up to 7 vs up to 5 days of growth.
I have now used the new shaver head for the past week. As you can see from the photograph, the Series 9 Pro head has a matte finish that looks great on my 9292cc shaver — I prefer it to the original chrome head. As expected with any brand-new shaver head, it gives a closer shave than the previous shaver head which was 2 years old. However, the new shaver head now easily handles the longer hairs on my neck, and I have finished the week with no need for a wet shave! In terms of speed, it takes less than 2 minutes to achieve a perfect shave, before popping the shaver into the Clean and Charge station.
Far cheaper than buying a newer shaver, it has given my Series 9 shaver a new leave of life. As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I have tested many different models of electric shavers from Braun, Panasonic, Philips and Remington. I can confidently say that this has given me the best ever electric shave and recommend it as an essential upgrade to all Series 9 owners.
