Solid scales, not flimsy. Very clear dual, easy to see. Had one like this nearly 20 years, it recently stopped weighing accurately, so bought this identical one as replacement. Very reasonable price free delivery, great. The plastic ties mentioned by other poster, just cut them off with scissors, easy.

I really like this scale, but I needed my father to show me the grey small plastic bits that (those held the part that was meant to hold the plate) needed to be removed for the scale to work.
please note this is not on the instruction or the box so just remove them prior to thinking it does not work 🙂
