I am somewhat deaf and the amplify button makes life much easier.
I really need three of these linked to the one base station, and had to purchase one additional receiver that I found on a popular auction site. Other than that all OK.
This phone is ideal for my elderly mother who is hard of hearing,.having good amplification and easy to use. Can also be used hands free. Big buttons and clearly labelled with a loud ring. Looked at many others and pleased with this. No answering machine, but that’s a bonus!

Bought for an elderly relative with mobility and hand issues…. They are very similar to his old phones so he managed them virtually straight away but anyone really should not have a problem with these phones in my opinion….

Easy to use
Bought this for 91 year old mother. She was struggling to use the buttons on her previous house phone. Useful button to press if you mislay the phone and she likes the speaker functio

This phone is ideal due to the large buttons which are both easy too see and easy to touch. Pretty simple to add names to directory and the volume is clear and loud on speaker option. Has been a great buy for my elderly mother.
Nice phone for me as i have hand problems, but I was a little annoyed by the fact that I bought it as an open box device which should be new, i was surprised to find in memory 5 calls that had been made on it. Apart from that I am happy with the phone, its not the best looking unit but great for arthritic hands.
I have recommended these phones to others too. The contract of the black keys against the silver is much better than my Dads previous black on black. Really easy to use good sound quality even with a hearing aid. Easy to put on loudspeaker all round thoroughly recommend.
I bought this phone for my elderly Mum, who is hard of hearing and suffers from dizziness causing her to fall sometimes. She often didn’t answer her old phone because she had trouble hearing it, causing the family concern. The ring tone on this handset is loud enough for her to hear. (There is a choice of ringtones but I kept the standard one as it seems to be the loudest.) I showed her how to use hands free and now she can hear the caller clearly. She is very pleased with it and says it is the best phone she has had. The speed dial option is very useful for if she does fall again she only has to press one button to contact a member of the family.
I also bought a small crossover bag for her to put the handset in during the day so she can have the phone on her at all times.This saves her from getting up too quickly to answer the phone. (It is charged overnight and the batteries last all day.)
I would recommend this phone as it is simple to set up and use.
