works as intended and exactly like photo. the rubber bottom needs to be taken off to dry to prevent mold and getting it back in is annoying. took me 3 months to learn how to do it with my teeth.
Well, I say no more mess haha just mess around the plate and not on the floor.
My toddler has a habit of flipping plates and bowls so these are a breath of fresh air.
Highly recommend.
Would recommend different spoon when starting off as a bit too big for the start but other than that, they are amazing quality and we are very pleased with it.
The dish and bowl have really good suction, to date my little one hasn’t managed to move them, he has tried.
The spoon is a little for starting out, but can be used later down the line I’m sure
If your child constantly throws their plates on the floor – buy this – this has stopped her doing it immediately! She loves eating from this. Very high quality finish too, soft bamboo, and the suction is amazing. No chance for your baby to lift this up! Easy to clean. Love it!
Using it since the 1st day of my little one’s weaning..only been few days..its easy to wash…good size. spoon is great..the silocon in it is very soft..so baby can chew it or bite it without any trouble.
I have seen one of the children i used to look after use this. I think its very good for children to use and more importantly i think more importantly easy to clean then a silicone one. You can take of the silicone part to clean as well without getting it mouldy.
The plate and bowl look exactly as advertised however, the suction is not the best. My 18 month old has managed to pull it off a couple of times. Good for the price and easy to clean.
Bought this for my Son’s next stages of weaning. I wanted something environmental friendly, durable and resistant.
So far this has given all the above. The suction is okay that maybe due to the plastic tray used on the baby seat. So once my son’s finished he throws the plate and bowl on the floor.
No signs of cracks. Easy to wash and light.
Heat resistant too.
I have not used in a Microwave but used the bowl in a steamer. I don’t sit the bowls in water.
The spoon is a bit wide for his small mouth but great handle size for him to grip.
Always been hand washed.
My son has dropped the bowl from high chair hight due to the suction not being great. As you can see the bowl has broken. Really disapointed the first drop the bowl has had and thats the result! Resulting in not being the best child friendly product.
Product has been in use in our house 2 months and 11 days exactly!
I have ordered the pink set and then orange set for my daughter. I was worried about using plastic all the time so liked the idea of natural bamboo. The suction is really strong, exactly what I needed. I’ve bought other brands and the suction was disappointing or non existent. This bowl and plate set need looking after. I don’t have a dish washer or a microwave so I’m assuming the negative reviews are where people have damaged their items using them carelessly in such convenient and unnatural machines for such a delicate natural product. The first set I bought I got a bit lazy with drying up dishes and after several months there was some black deep in the wood grain which I expect was mould so I threw them away and ordered a new set. Since I now wash and immediately dry the items, they’re in perfect condition. I honestly really like them and never had any trouble with the spoons either. My daughter loves how chewy they are and they’ve never come apart- again I’m guessing people have been careless and washed them in a dish washer on a heat too high perhaps? Just hand wash and dry these sets and they’ll last a long time!
5 stars all round! I’ll explain why…. At first I was a little hesitant to buy a suction product because with my first child I found specific brands did not work as well as I would have hoped. I did a little research now I have had my second child and I came across Bubba Bear…. WOW! The quality of the product it amazing and as you can see from the pictures they both fit perfectly on the highchair! My daughter is on her weaning journey so the plate is great for the finger foods and if I want to separate some vegetables from pasta…. And if she knows she doesn’t like something on the plate she can leave that section out its great. The bowl I am so pleased with because she can now try to feed herself breakfast with the spoon which she can grip really well and it’s a bonus that she can’t pick it up!
A little side note which I really like being a parent is the packaging and that on the side of the box it explains the products are handmade and tips on how to wash them and ‘extending care’. Both me and my daughter really recommend this product for any parent who’s thinking about starting the weaning journey
I bought this as a gift for my Granddaughter who has just started eating solids – (baby rice) Iwas delivered on time and as I live in France and it was delivered in Yorkshire I was totally impressed by the level of communication you gave me, I knew when you were close by and as soon as it was delivered I received a SMS telling me so, my daughter sent me a thank you SMS 10 minutes later too!
My daughter is so impressed with the product, the bowl is perfect size, great suction and the spoon is perfect, Little one ate her first meal on it within the hour – as a first time Mum my daughter loves the booklet too as it gives her lots of healthy meal ideas for the future too
The tip about using coconut oil on it after washing to keep the natural moisture in the bamboo was great, she will be doing that.
