It works surprisingly well on most flies. There are some that you may need to hit multiple times but when it does hit them, you will see, feel and hear the effect. Note: that if insects get caught in the racket, shocking it could lead to burning and you will see smoke coming from its carcass. So be mindful to clean it, as the smoke could set off your fire alarm. All and all, a great product that accomplishes its task.

As summer has come and the nuisance flies till this is a great solution, gets rid of them with easy, even in the night as it has TWO bright lights. One at the bottom of the handle which you can use as a torch and one near the actual bat bit soo you can see what you’re swatting. Only hard thing is catching the damn things but that is no fault of this product. Definitely recommend.

I’m very pleased with this purchase. The zapper’s bright light attracts insects, and the moment they come in contact with it, they’re zapped, leaving my outdoor gatherings insect-free. It’s easy to clean, and the durable construction ensures it can withstand outdoor conditions. This is a very good purchase.

This is a brilliant product. It’s easy to use, however, I’ve got a rubbish aim and to date haven’t actually hit any flies. My 6yr old daughter has given it a good go and has hit a few. She loves using i

Bought this to replace my older knackered bug/fly swatter racket that for whatever reason didn’t seem to shock anything anymore despite new batteries etc. This one is great as the handle unscrews easily so it can be recharged without having the whole racket on the desk etc. Makes one hell of a zap when you get a fly with it, works really well!

I’ve had this product two months and it doesn’t work anymore !
It will not zap the flys !
The torches work on it and that is it !
    All that money waisted !!!

One flaw in design is the bottom you need to press to zap flies is nearest the head of the “bat” making then good long handle redundant. Shame this button isn’t closer to the end of the handle.

The product itself is tip top, good quality and nicely boxed. The problem is hitting the little blighters!! I had a really good tennis workout, but not one dead fly. Watch out for the lamp fittings and ornaments. I have resorted to luring them to the window then letting them out or using a traditional plastic swatted. Shame because the concept is good.

If you can get the fly, it works brilliantly. Zap and the fly is gone. But flies are pesky and it’s actually quite hard to play tennis with them accurately seeing as they move quickly and erratically.

So I recommend, but only if you’re prepared to chase a fly around with a tennis racket sized object for longer than you’d expect.

Bought this at the start of summer and have had endless pleasure wiping out houseflies, moths, and all comers into the house. I haven’t had to charge it since I got it so it must have a chunky rechargeable battery in it.
The only problem I have is that the wife is constantly grabbing it. I will have to buy another one!

Fantastic! I get bitten by anything and everything, this is the best out there, it really is…..and swiping the mozzies over the top of the pond….keeps the dog amused for ages! He nudges the plants, they fly up and I zap them. Got now so that when indoors if he sees a fly he keeps tapping us til we kill it with the bat!

Not only has this sent a message to all the flying insectoides in the vicinity, it has also dramatically improved my returns and aces. I’ve seen a significant decrease in buzzing annoyances since using this product and the addition of a torch to silently guide the flying invertebrates to a shocking end is ingenious. Sometimes larger bugs may require a couple or prolonged jolts but this is more a testament to their persistence rather than this product.
High powered and USB chargeable. Numbs the tongue for a few hours (tested so you don’t have to). Won’t be disappointed.

Bought this item after being woken up very early on a Saturday morning by an extremely annoying fly that try as I might, I couldn’t get rid of. I would compare it’s flying abilities to a redbull stunt pilot, or a world class drone racer, and I found just throwing a pillow at it just wasn’t going to cut it. After opening and switching the zapper on, I had to be a little patient for my first fly encounter but I wasn’t disappointed. There was a decent size spark, a loud crack, and the fly was literally blown to bits. It seems the bigger the fly is, the louder the bang is. I think I have found a new fun pass time. I would definitely recommend one of these.

First reaction to this gadget. It looks like a sports racquet. However, does the job. You see the spark and hear the shock when the flies are captured. It takes getting used to as it feels brutal. Be warned you will jump the first few times using it.

I bought this as like to have the back door open for my dog to get in and out. Howo, the flies!!! They come in, the big ones making such a noise and we’re driving me mad so I tried this product out.
It was quick to charge up and I like the fact you have to hold the button down to zap the flies. It makes quite the noise when it gets one but really works. I’ve not had to use the torch but like thw idea there’s one on there if needed.
Note – I accidentally touched it when I was trying to get a fly, please don’t do this, it really hurts!!!!!

Simple enough to use, and effective enough to make turn it into a game. Whilst the priority is to try and push any flies/wasps out of the house, if any get caught up in this bat, then they’re in for the shock of their lives… literally!

When it comes to the bigger insects, you may need to continue zapping/holding down the button – there’s been a few times now that a fly has flown out of the mesh – maybe I didn’t get good enough of a whack? The torch is a handy addition as well [especially the smaller white LED that is near the edge of the mesh itself].

Don’t expect a robotic arm or the Wimbledon Racket of Fly Zappers – but this does do what it says it will.

Charged with a MicroUSB cable (included), this fly zapper works very well for flies big and small. Operating it is straightforward with a slide-button to unlock and a push-button to activate the zap. It’s noiseless when active, except when it makes contact with a fly.

Although some flies occasionally gets stuck in the metal layers, they’re easy enough to shake out and those layers are responsible for insulating you from the shock, so seems sensible enough to me.

The LED torch at the bottom of the handle and the middle of the racket is a nice touch, but I haven’t really found much use for it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGot this because we have a lot of bees in our garden and didn’t want to use a bug zapper, this offered more control over what we were targeting.
Haven’t had to charge it yet, been having a problem with flies getting into the house and ignoring the vast amounts of citronella candles we have, so we stepped it up, works great on the standard flies, gets a little crazy when you take out a bluebottle though, will tend to keep frying till you can smell burning hair or the bluebottles falls to the ground, occasionally some get caught in the mesh but give it a good shake they usually dislodge, has a little torch in the handle too ad understandably you have to be holding down a button when you go to war. Partner finds it very satisfying.

As I have pets, I didn’t want to use a spray to kill the inevitable flies that come into the house with the windows open in the summer, and I didn’t really want flypaper strips hanging around with dead flies stuck to them so decided to buy this instead. It’s like a small tennis racket and easy to use although flies are very fast so you don’t get one every time. But you definitely know when you do hit one as there’s a very loud crack of electricity. It’s really easy to charge with a USB cable which is supplied. Would definitely recommend.

This works really well to swat flies, it can be hard to get them in the air but it’s really easy to use when they’re on the wall.
I keep it on the stand on the UV setting and it gets a few flies this way.
It does smoke and make a loud zapping noise when gets a fly so that’s something to be prepared for.

I haven’t had issues with small flies or smaller moths but have yet to try it on anything bigger. The biggest moth that was hit did leave a burning smell behind.

We have a fruit tree in the garden and although the fruit is sweet and free to pick, the flies are very annoying. We cannot even open the garden door for long before they fly in.

Our previous fly zapper broke, by accident, so I decided to get a new one.

This zapper is very useful, it’s definitely powerful enough to deal with those flying insects. The best feature is that it can be inserted in the holder, so while it’s charging, it shines a UV light to attract the flies.

We did catch one the other day putting this on the table. I wouldn’t replace your restaurant level fly zapper yet, but this does add convenience and a peace of mind.

    Good product.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI originally reviewed this Fly Zapper, but as I had brought two on my account and I ended up giving this a bad review when I should have given the other one the bad review so my apologies to anyone who may have read this before.

This is a brilliant little device. It’s got several layers of mesh wire so it catches even the smallest of bugs. I love the safety features on it because you can’t accidentally zap anything (or anyone). It has a power switch which you have to first put in the on position. However, the device is only live and ready to zap when you hold down another larger power button above the on/off switch. As soon as you take you finger off that button it is no longer live. They really have put some thought into this, making it an excellent product.

It’s so light that I would compare it to being just slightly heavier than a badminton racket. This lightness enables you to move it around quickly, which you need to be able to do to catch the common house fly as they are quick. They have built not one, but two torches into the design as well so that you got good visibility when using this in the dark. One torch is on the side of the frame that you would swat with and the other is at the bottom of the racket. The best bit about the torch at the bottom is that is detachable so that you can use it like a proper torch. You literally unscrew it off and use it as you would any other torch.

It’s also very cost effective as you never have to replace batteries as there is a rechargeable battery built into the bottom part of the handle that unscrews off. They really have gone into great detail to come up with this top notch device, because when you unscrew the battery off it makes it so much easier to recharge than if you had to have the whole racket sitting on your desktop or wherever you charge. Please see the attached pictures showing how this device looks with the battery compartment/torch detached and when fully attached.

I know this may sound cruel, but when you do hit a fly with this it makes a rewarding “zap” sound and every time you hear that you know you got another fly and it can make it quite fun. I did find myself letting the flies into the house at night just to test this at one point so I could here that “zap” but that really was a bit mean so I did close the windows you will be glad to hear, and I only use this when I have to.

In summary, this is a great device that has been thought out and designed really well. It’s practical, rechargeable, relatively cheap to buy, and works brilliantly. You will find that some of the larger flies or wasps will need more than one zap to kill them, but is still does the job really well. This is by far the best one I have brought so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Fly Zapper and great safety features. So light, making it easy to use. Also great fu

Ever since I got this electric fly swatter, my life has become so much easier. No more buzzing nuisances interrupting my peaceful afternoons! The 4000V power is exceptional and makes quick work of any annoying flying insects.
The first time I used it, I was sitting in my garden, enjoying a cup of tea when a pesky fly decided to join me. I grabbed my trusty zapper, and with one swift swing, it was gone. No mess, no fuss.
The LED light feature has been incredibly helpful during evening barbecues when insects love to make their presence known. The removable flashlight also comes in handy when I need to venture out into the garden after dark.
I appreciate the double layers mesh protection, as it provides a sense of safety, knowing that I won’t accidentally zap myself. The black design adds a touch of style without being overly flashy.
In summary, this electric fly swatter has significantly improved my outdoor experience, making it more enjoyable and pest-free. Five well-deserved stars!

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersI had lots of flies in my kitchen during the summer months and I’d seen these a few times so decided to buy one based on the reviews, so glad I did! It works really well unless you get a mega fast fly in which case you then turn into a tennis pro jumping around your kitchen with the racket trying to waft it over the fly! But overall its been good as I can just swat this over the fly and dispose of it and its not flying round trying to land on my food when I’m cooking etc just don’t hold the button down too long if you have a fly on the racket, toasted fly isn’t the nicest of smells!
