I needed to be able to measure tiny (less than 1g) quantities of yeast and this fits the bill. I like the fact that the instructions are inside the lid and the lid means I can just pop it in a drawer between uses.

Works well but you need something weighting exactly 200g to calibrate.

I use this fab little scale to measure resin precisely and I love it! Luckily it comes with different functions too so it replaced my kitchen scales for a while when they were broke and measured heavy stuff! Impressed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI only docked a star because it never seems to account for the first 0.05 (roughly) that I apply. I use this for measuring out tiny amounts at a time, so it’s quite frustrating, as I need the readings to be accurate.

Good scale, says what it is and does what it does, and quite well at that. Maybe a little too breakable, a large book was accidentally put on top of it, and the screen stopped working.
However, a fine precision scale if taken good care of.

Really good value for money. Does the job and is very thin so that I can store it in my cookery book shelf. But the batteries that came with it were dud.
So do buy it, but make sure you have spare batteries of your own.

This is a really great little set of scales. Covers all the measuring units you should need, it’s neat, easy to clean, has good buttons (nice sharp click when you use them), it’s easy to clean and unobtrusive in the kitchen. It’s also quite thin (about 1cm), so you can slide it under something to keep it out of the way when not in use. Oh, and they even provide batteries. Would definitely buy another if I needed one.

So far so good, but is a bit off, got a calibration weight and don’t quite know which is off as 100g weight weighs 100.17g
Tried same after calibration still same 100.17.
I make my eLiquid with this and it is close enough so I’m not bothered much.

It has a nice and sleek look to it. Quite smaller than I expected and also the numbers on the screen is flickering every time I put something on the scale? No idea why, some sort of fault I guess but other than that it looks like a good product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis scale works great, I’ve been using it every day now since it arrived and am very pleased with how it works and how it looks.

My only complaint is that display – it’s viewing angle is terrible and you need to be looking at it near enough straight on. If you put a plate on this which covers the display slightly so you have to view it at an angle, it’s incredible difficult to make out which means that I’m measuring my food in a bowl and then transferring it to a plate which has got a bit annoying.

UPDATE: I received a email the day after I posted this review from Amir saying they were sorry and would rufund my money so thank you.
I don’t think it was new, never had the blue protection tape on, so someone as removed it, Got delivered through the letterbox so that won’t of done it any favours, I can’t get the lowest weight of 1g whatever I weigh it’s either 2 or 3g anyways for what a paid for it was a no brainer, Don’t think it’s going to be as good as i thought but time will tell.

These are great wee scales although they do not seem to weigh anything less than 3g., but this is not a problem as I use jewellery scales for 1g – 2g items. These scales are very useful for weighing food items for my diet, are easy to use and very accurate. They are slim and small and fit nicely inside my cookery book rack in my kitchen, between the books. Very handy! They are a lovely design look good too!

Update: Seller got in touch and did a full refund, looking forward to buying from them again.

Worked well and accurately for 2 months. Now routinely misreports weight of products, eg: 450g block of butter is weighed at about 300g while being placed exactly in the middle and after ensuring the scale was zeroed. Looks good, just a pity it didn’t stand the test of time.

Perfect for measuring small amounts of ingredients. Lasts a good amount of time before turning itself off. It’s pocket size so certainly able to carry and lightweight. Display is great and there’s different units of measurements. There’s also a Tare button meaning you can place a small bowl for measuring Tare it and it reverts back to zero. Wipes clean very easily. Callibration is easy and I purchased a 200g weight (here on Amazon) to make this accurate. All in all very happy with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt’s not bad for the price it feels nice and solid. I like the style, It looks modern and fits perfectly with my kitchen style. I’ve used the modes for ml and the best of all!! Finally, a scale has “Milk ml” setting. Fantastic!

Even my biggest bowls fit on top and it might be that my bowls are too big but all it takes to read the numbers is a bit of bending, nothing annoying.

    Would recommend for the price!

Great little scale. Easy to use and very compact, aesthetically pleasing. 4 popular measurements which you can switch between with 1 button. Only downside to the compact design is that larger items (big mixing bowls, plates etc) stop you from being able to read the screen. If you’re a master baker then you might want something a little bigger. Great for general food weighing though and meal prep! Brilliant price as well.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI purchased one of these on a lightning deal (we couldn’t resist for the price) we wasn’t expecting much from the scales for such a low price, however, we was pleasantly surprised with what we received. The scale themselves are extremely stylish and match the decor and silverware in our kitchen, in addition they are extremely easy to use and require very little kitchen space. I would wholeheartedly recommend these scales based on price, ease of use, and style. A perfect addition to any kitchen regardless of size.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis was a very good choice, basing my purchase on the good reviews here already. Later in this review I will give a reason for reducing to 4 star rating. So I will say right now it’s easy to use – and the ‘User Guide’ was hilarious where it said “To turn the item off – press the On/Off button for a while! It doesn’t say how long a “while” might be – possibly it switches off when the button is fed up with you holding it! It’s actually less than 3 seconds. The measurement range is incredible and so easy to swap between Grams Oz lbs kg mil and even has a setting to measure Milk by weight and reads out in milli-litres. I quite expected it to have a setting that measures scruples and one for knots per acre!! This is a huge advance even on digital scales of the last 10 years. So I am well pleased with its quality performance and value. If I had any criticisms I’d say it’s just a little on the small size but it takes large bowls if you’re careful. My second annoyance is that say you’ve placed an empty bowl and switched on, the readout zeros so anything you place in the bowl will be measured – but half way through putting ingredient in, you run out of product and need to go and fetch a new full bag to add more. Well as you fiddle around to find the fresh bag of product the Scales Switch off to save the battery. Well nobody minds that if it only goes to standby but this one when you come to switch back on to add more product to the bowl it effectively reboots and loses your last weight read-out, returning to zero. That really is a pain. It obviously has a rather poor memory. So you have to tip all the stuff out of the bowl – re start it with empty bowl and measure again. It has tripped me up a few times and I’ve been using it regularly for a year now. So AMIR you lose a star for rotten memory!!
I liked the way it takes normal AA batteries and not those irritating coin batteries. This means it would probably work well with re-chargeables too. Summing up – good accurate compact handy versatile but has a little designed-in amnesia! If it had stayed displaying for more than a minute when unattended I’d have given it 5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought these some time ago now and happily they’re still working. A couple of issues though have been that the screen can occasionally flicker and the backlight will go off, and when it arrived the screen wasn’t fitted entirely straight which meant that one edge was more in-set than the the other.
Having said that, you can’t expect perfection for the money so I didn’t complain, and frankly I’m surprised it’s still working but happy it is. Accuracy is OK, and certainly does what I need it to when mixing my personal eliquid.
One last frustration is how quickly it times out and turns off. Sometimes I’m in the middle of using it and trying to be as exact as I can and it goes to sleep which can be annoying.

I have recommended this product to others as some entry level scales though and have used them regularly.

I seemed to have be unlucky with previous more expensive kitchen scales from well known manufacturers not lasting very long! I didn’t know this manufacturer but decided to opt for this set of scales based on the products great customer reviews. So far so good, this a neat and stylish set of scales with all features as described. Easy to use with clear display. Good value for money. I have only had my new scales for a short period of time and hope that they will work for a reasonable period of time!

Great product for the price. The only downfall is the seals. I spilled a tiny amount of water on it and now the LCD display has water inside it. Despite this, it still works perfectly and I use it everyday to weigh out my protein. Weighing the correct amount of protein is really important so I can maintain my gains at the gym.

Very nice looking scales and working well. However they are smaller than my previous set so the mixing bowl I use for baking is too wide for the scales without obscuring the screen. I also find the white light lit numbers a little difficult to read from an angle. Still usable though!

About 6″ square and 1″ high – that’s all it takes for this little baby to do it’s job. I already had an old scale, which was spring loaded, and I was forever having to ‘bounce’ the spring so I could get a reading. You would be pouring sugar, or flour, and without warning the spring – and hence the needle – would stick. Because you might be concentrating on the pouring, it was quite easy to miss when it did stick and towards the end I was tapping the tray all the time. This small scale takes up to 5kgs which is more than enough for most kitchens, and you get an instant reading which, being digital, is much more accurate than my old mechanical scale. I’m very pleased with it – delivery was very quick indeed

eally nice looking scale but mine is blue not the grey/silver shown. Simple to.use once u figure it out, but is hard to read what the two buttons are for initially. Slightly smaller than i expected from the pics but then again it means its really light and easy to.store.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThis is a value for money item, It is well made and accurate within the weight specifications. The case has a hinged top with the hinge being a pin and socket type hinge, simple but far superior to a strip of maleable plastic that fails very quickly. Inside the lid are the user instructions. How many times have you laid a piece of equipment aside for a length of time then, when you come to use it, you need the instructions and can’t find them. Not with this scale.
Under the main body is the battery compartment which takes two AAA batteries (supplied) and a space for two spare batteries.
The working area is well laid out with a good sized weighing table, a backlit L.E.D. display with very clear numbers and below the display the on/off, mode and tare buttons.
This is a robust, well made, accurate instrument. Treated with respect, it will last a lifetime.

Excellent scales that replace the large plastic upright dial and tray type giving us more space. This just fits in a drawer. Very easy to use and can use any handy receptacle – cup, dish, glass etc to hold your produce to weigh. Because these are so small, it’s best to use a narrow tall receptacle as larger plates/bowls etc can obscure view of the readout. Very pleased with this

I haven’t used this as it is a gift for my Mum for Christmas. It looks like a smart little scale and very lightweight which is ideal for my mum. It is small too so can easily be stored when not in use.
Unfortunately the colour was different to what I ordered (I wanted silver and we got electric blue!), the packaging was very battered but the scale was well protected in the box. Just doesn’t look very good as it’s a present! All in all it does seem to be well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThere are 2 aspects to my quick review – the product and the customer service from Amir. The quick answer is 5* for the product and 10* for the Amir Customer support.

The first unit I received was faulty and after leaving a review that reflected that, Amir contacted me immediately and offered me outstanding support – a replacement was quickly arranged – well done and thank you.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this device. The display has a pleasing blue backlight, which I was not expecting from a device in this price range (OK it was clear from the product picture, but I’d missed that). It is nicely constructed and easy to operate. I tried testing it with a one pence piece – which the Royal Mint says 3.56 grams. The device recorded 3.55 grams which is better than my expectations – bear in mind that the the coin was old and that it probably had bits taken out of it and bits added to it (don’t think too hard on that point!). The reading does fluctuate a little over time – I suspect that this has more to do with air currents than any fault with the scales.

There is a wide range of measuring units: grams, grains, oz, troy oz, carrot tl (tael ?) and dwt (penny weight) – some of which I don’t know existed.

    Hope this is helpful.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a well built product and is very light weight. It can weight max 5kg although if the volume of the bag is more, it cant technically be placed on the scale due to its small size, However, it works very well as a kitchen scale and the battery life is good as well. The accuracy of this device is also very good. 1kg retail packing showed 998 grams which is very much acceptable. The self zero calibration is also very good. Please make sure you turn ON the device after placing it flat on the surface and not while you hold it in your hand.

The only con I see in this product for which I knocked off one star is that the LED is very bright and hence it lights up the inactive LED segments beside the active ones. Due to this, it takes a bit of time before you can realize the weight displayed. This is not a huge inconvenience but something very easily noticeable especially when one goes quite close to the device. I don’t think the device comes with a contrast or a LED brightness control.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAfter initial hic-cup whereby the 100g calibration weight recorder 200g. Contacted seller who got straight back to me
I persevered and tried a number of small items that I knew the approx weight of. The scales showed the right weight and when I placed the 100g calibration weight on again it recorded actual 100g. So far the scales have been working correctly, only time will tell. I purchased after reading the 5* write ups on this product and |I am not disappointed. Easy to use and clear instructions. For the price is is a great piece of kit!

A great set of scales for weirdos like me who want to weigh the food they eat to track nutrition. They’re really quite small (but big enough to place a small saucepan or bowl on) and are much more accurate than the previous set I had.
Easy to zero the counter so it reads zero with a bowl placed on top ready for you to weigh out ingredients and you can cycle through the different units by clicking a button. Very happy.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI bought this product at a reduced price of 8.45 which seemed like excellent value for money, given a basic scale at the supermarket is around 5.

This really does look a premium product although the original RRP of almost 40 is way too high.

    There are just a couple of things that let this scale down;

    1) The instructions aren’t great. The 1 feature I was interested in was the TARE function which is not mentioned in the instructions and took a while to figure out. I tried the logical method of placing a container on the scales and pressing the button, taking it off, filling it up and re-placing it but it didn’t always register. After playing around for a while and shouting at it, I worked out that you have to wait for the display to return to zero after pressing the Z/T button, before taking the container off.

    2) The buttons are connected to the scale so when you press a button it registers the weight of your finger. This shouldn’t happen but is not a huge issue.

Overall I’m really pleased with these scales. They seem really accurate and look great on the kitchen side. Oh I do love a kitchen gadget!
