After ploughing through loads of reviews for different scales I finally settled on these, purely on the reviews and also costing under 15.
I’ve just started the art of needle felt and the instructions said “weigh out 1.15gm of wool” & I’m like how the hell am I going to do that?
I chose these, they were included in Prime and were delivered next day.
They were well packaged and with brand new sealed batteries.
I calibrated them easily and duly weighed out my 1.15gm of wool.
The scales are very easy to use, extremely accurate, large enough to hold my wool yet small enough to go in my craft basket.
    Very pleased with them.

Great service of scales for weighing for that precision reading. Comes with multiple trays to assist with weighing different items – mainly fresh herbs from the garden. Easy to calibrate and comes in a box that will give the scales that bit of extra protection. Worth the money and if ever I need to buy again, i will

I had been suspicious in view of its modest price but was very pleasantly surprised by what arrived. The recalibration feature works well. The accuracy seems very good – after calibrating at one weight, say 100g, the scale showed perfect or very near perfect readings for all other calibration weights tested and for both calibration weights and also items of arbitrary weight the repeatability was always excellent. This item is a real gem!

Work great and good value for money, scales were crooked but easily fixed with a heavy book. Decently consistent weighing and a calibration weight too, all round happy.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI chose these 500g scales after reading a lot of reviews and I am very pleased with my purchase so far. I chose this brand because it came with a 100g calibration weight (other cheaper versions of the same scales don’t come with a weight so you have to buy one in addition). Accurate calibration is quick and easy, pre set for the 100g weight.

I bought the 500g version for flexibility but they still gives accurate and consistent results usually to within +/-0.02g. Mostly the weight is repeated exactly but occasionally there is a slight variation in the 100ths, so to be sure if it is critical to that level you should weigh very light objects 3 times. I would suspect that the bigger the weight capacity of scales the less accurate/consistent the very small 100ths will be. This is sold as a Kitchen scale not a scientific balance – you will need to pay a lot more for one of those – but nevertheless it is pretty accurate provided that you use it properly.

If you don’t get consistent readings from a very light object try weighing it with the 100g weight and then removing the weight. I suspect that, like most new equipment, it needs to be ‘run in’ with a bit of use. They may be electronic scales but weighing is physical !

    USE ADVICE FOR ACCURATE RESULTS
You need a good solid flat surface free from any movement or transmitted vibration (don’t put it on a working surface near a fridge because the motor can transmit vibrations to the working surface). Follow the instructions – leave the scales switched on for 60 secs before weighing anything that you need to weigh very precisely. Keep the scales at room temperature in the room where you will use them – or allow them to acclimatise for an hour in the new environment. Beware that electronic equipment nearby could affect the accuracy although I have not noticed a problem so far.

Don’t forget to take the batteries out if you don’t intend to use the scales for several days or weeks.
I hope they continue to work well. Time will tell !

So far all has worked well.
I cannot say as to accuracy as I have no way to test this but I am happy with the product, the price and ease of use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery happy with these little scales. So much better than our previous cheaper ones. They weigh up to 500g which is really useful but can still weigh fractions of a gram. Only had a short time so cannot say how durable they are. They come with a 100g weight for calibration, which I think is great for the price. All the buttons are really responsive, unlike my old scales which took time to turn on/off and reset. Also pleased that they run on AAA batteries rather than the flat type. My only slight criticism is that the little ‘feet’ underneath do not grip at all, so they do sometimes slip around on the the worktop and coule be easy to knock them off, as we have found out. However, they survived and only needed re-calibration. All in all, very good value for money.

Works well so far, but given the price and the fact it’s obviously one of those Chinese products that a bunch of different ‘brands’ sell under their own name, I don’t expect it to still be running in 15+ years like the cooks digital scale I usually use!

But, right now it’s very accurate and the 100g weight for calibration is very useful as the scale was about a tenth of a gram out by default. Just have to hope the 100g weight really is exactly 100g!

Perfect- Great little set of scales, reasonably priced.
Measures to 0.00 for improved accuracy.
Comes with small top tray, large base tray and a 100gm weight for calibration.
(Ensure to calibrate…First time tried was out by a few g’s. Once calibrated was perfect)
    Calibration information included with product.

Elegant easy to use with good build quality. The only con is when measuring things near the lowest and lightest this scale can ready the accuracy becomes a bit off. But for the price and for my use (Do e-liquid recipes in tiny batches to test and improve on them) it’s doing just right. Now only time will tell how long this scale will last.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI use these for measuring exact quantities of coffee beans, to make sure I get a ratio of 60g of beans per litre of water.

While these are not in the same league as the espresso scales that are waterproof and can sit under the brew group head, these are cheap and fine for just weighing out beans for grinding.

The scales came with a 100g calibration weight, which you use to calibrate them before first use, and the procedure can be used to recalibrate them periodically, which for me will ensure I get consistent coffee.

My wife also uses them to weigh out herbs and other very light ingredients.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and accurate digital scale that can be recalibrated.

When using the tray it can be hard to unclasp from the scales and its not as accurate to use when filling with ingredients.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI had my scales for two weeks now and I’m delighted with them. They’ve worked perfectly and so very simple to use.

I bought them because I’ve just started mixing my own eliquid recipes and they’ve made it way easier and quicker than trying to use syringes and other forms of volume measures.

I bought the red 500g scales with the 100g calibration weight and it makes it much more reassuring to feel that I can calibrate them and be sure that they are going to be reliably accurate enough.

As they can weigh down to 0.01g I can add just a few drops of liquid to make small batches of liquid which is a fantastic help.

I also like that they take AAA batteries rather than button batteries which I think are not as good and I always have a stock of rechargeable AAA’s on hand.

These scales represent superb value for money. I have not given 5 stars because the scales do not have option for mains power via adaptor they are battery operated. The weight does not come with any certificate that its 100g so i cannot comment on accuracy. I cannot comment on how long the batteries last either or whether accuracy deteriorates as batteries decline in strength.
