Cult of the Lamb – PS5

Cleaning poop has never been this much fun!
So, you’re a cult leader and you gather followers – you save them, bless them, give them work, but also sacrifice them (for the greater good of course) and send them on expeditions where they can get killed (so you can get more valuable stuff!). You also clean up their poop, cook for them, bury them, and everyone is a cute animal.

You can fish, farm, cook, but you also fertilise your crops with poop you collect. There is also golden poop, which is like a super fertiliser so you want to make sure you keep that poop for special crops.

There’s also fighting as you go on expeditions to gather resources, find new followers, kill cultists from other cults, and defeat other Gods.

And it’s all super random and fun, and I don’t want to say more so that I won’t spoil anything – there’s always something to do in this game, especially if you like the building aspect, but fighting is awesome too, as you get new abilities and weapons as you unlock new stuff in the game.

It looks fantastic on PS5 with great framerate, the design of the game is adorable although sometimes a bit gore – the aesthetic is definitely one of a kind.

One of the best indie games I played in a long time! Up there with Hades and other must-play hits.
