I wanted to get these as I seem to have no luck with strimmers! Yes, they are a bit more work than a strimmer but I’ve had no cable break, no scalped grass and I don’t have to worry about a cable. Plus, I can also get into places the strimmer couldn’t. Brilliant shears!

Perfectly lightweight, easy to use for the purpose of dealing with the long couch grass growing under well established shrubs situated on the lawn. I am now unable to crawl underneath the shrubs to clear the grass and weeds and the extendable handles are perfect for this. Extremely pleased with the product which is also easy to apply the extension of the handles. In my opinion good value for money.

The Darlac Telescopic Lawn Shear is light, robust, and very sharp. It is well made with a nice finish. The extendable handles are easy to adjust to any required length. It also cuts grass beautifully. It is well worth the price and I highly recommend it!

I’m glad I went for the slightly more expensive product. These shears are very sharp and easy to use, the telescopic handles work very well and make them easy to adjust to your height.

The shears are very light to use and cut the grass very easily, they are made for cutting grass, weeds etc. not hedges or branches, that would only spoil them.

I am so pleased with my shears. I’d been looking for a pair for ages as I was nervous about using a strimmer. Having the extendable handles means I’m not bending to cut my edges. Excellent product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI like the fact that the handles can be shortened or lengthened depending on how tall the user is. Blades nice and sharp. The shears are not heavy and are easy to use. Perfect for my fairly small lawn.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThey seem to be OK but (please see picture) – they arrived with the blade sticking out of the box – 0/10. Having depackaged them they have a tiny notch on the outside of the blade – shouldn’t affect them but still crap packaging and delivery.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGlad I bought them, use them for the tricky areas that the mower can’t get to, they’re nice and sharp also I’m 1.82m tall, so no back ache when using, I’m no Percy Thrower, but these help keep the lawn that extra bit neat, by the way my neighbour is always borrowing them and I’d say he’s a Percy Thrower. Enjoy.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe item which I bought arrived safely. no damaged done to the lawn shears. I find that this item is a bit on the light side to do the work in our garden. The handles could have been slightly a bit heavier, but it is okay doing lighter cutting that is needed in the garden not any heaver cutting.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersArrived promptly. A useful tool with the ability to alter the length of the handles easily. They can feel rather heavy after a few minutes of use when the handles are fully extended (depending on who is using them). Pleased overall with the practical design – would be even better if the blades were longer and was not quite so heavy in use. Good quality product and good value for money.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThese lawn shearers are very light and should prove comfortable for use by most. Although descibed as telescopic and stating measurement as up to 103 cm, don’t expect them to be long enough if you’re over 6ft tall with a bad back.
I’m 6ft tall and suffer brom a bad back. I find that the 103cm length is still not quite long enough to avoid having to stoop to cut the grass.
Not the fault of the manufacturer or seller as the item is correctly described.
If you’re under 6ft tall, these should be fine, particularly as they’re so light.
