They originally sent me the old version, in error, but then sent me a mother-of-pearl effect replacement, which was excellent. It’s a really good grinder, and does a grand job of grinding my… parsley. Service is excellent, too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for the Seaside

Probably one of my best purchases to date as I still own it and use it. First thing about this to highlight is the durability, as it’s metal the teeth don’t get stuck when grinding dry materials. There are 4 compartments which come apart for easy use and cleaning. The bottom is netted to capture all remaining fallout. I also noticed there is plastic scraper in the bottom compartment which can be handy. Fits into most small side bags for use when travelling!

3 stars to the easy to clean review just cos i haven’t cleaned it yet but it seems like it would be easy to clean. Grinds up nice, little windows are a beaut touch, also I like the little box it came in I always pop it back in there when I’m finished with it but thats just me.

Grinds up my herb well and can fit a good amount in, only problem is after grinding there will be bits stuck to the teeth, edges and top that you will have to manually remove, other than that its a great product for the price.

I bought this grinder about a week ago and for the price im really pleased with how well its put together and the amount of teeth on the grinder it’s self my favourite feature would most likely have to be the windows on the side cause it lets u see how much u have grinded and if youll need to grind more without being the one guy who trys to open it and spills all the green but this has to be the best value grinder ive ever bough

his grinder has a big compartment for herbs buy i found some smaller parts came out where the see through screen is. i also had some of the paint rub off with in the first few days so i was cleaning it so the paint flakes didn’t go int my pollen or herb. it grinds so smooth, i found that the plastic spacer helped with how smooth it ground up, the teeth were really sharp and good for cutting up and not tearing which is better for what i used it fo

Arrived in plenty of time and appears to be well made but it doesn’t quite deliver the grind I require.
Leaves rather large pieces of spice and I was hoping it would grind to a powder. The filter part works well and below that a very small amout is at the desired grind.

Really good quality. I bought for my boyfriend and he loves the design and I loved the bargain price. He said he thought it would be about 40 and I think it is axtuslly worth the full price so this is a real bargain.

Good grinder but not great for a fine grind. Only lasted for two months as I didn’t clean it out and it ended up sticking together on the sides. Can recommend but if you want a fine grind or a long lasting product without cleaning then look elsewhere.

Great grinder but the pollen catcher is a stupid design. THE chamber is huge the biggest of the 4 sections while the bottom lid is all you can really fill with pollen/crystals unless you hold it upside down to unscrew the bottom///???iTS described as somewhere to keep your pre ground herbs but then youd have buds or herbs covered in the crystals you are trying to sift out which will i suppose make it back through the screen next time around. Is it just me or is that just a futile pursuit?

Arrived the next day and just as described. Like most grinders with a pollen filter, I find the mesh is way too fine to pick up anything – maybe it’s England’s finest that isn’t dusty enough?
In any case it grinds like a dream. Recommend you buy this baby if you’ve made it this far into my review.

It grinds well, the thread is a bit fine and have to be careful as easily cross thread it. I like the window so you can see what you have ready.

The side windows allow you to not only see how full it is but ensure that the pollen chamber isn’t over-tightened whilst grinding.
This has happened in the past and the mesh has had to be cut out!
Arrived early next day as promised. Just ordered another one for a birthday present….
    Cannot fault it!

I originally bought these as gifts for friends who wanted grinders NOT made from aluminium, both said they didn’t like them. I have started using one of them myself and I think they are GREAT!! They look good and work great. They don’t grind to a fine degree, but perfectly usable and these are also very strong and deal with less than completely dry herb very well. I am pleased my friends didn’t want them ‘cos I LOVE them

It is very good at what it does, the only bad point is that the window is on the bottom layer and I thought it was in the middle not much use for it you can’t really see through it, just looks good

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThis is a very stylish piece of kit, It feels well made, and is nice to feel in the hand. It is well machined, and the windowed part, is both very cool looking, and the reason I’ve knocked a star off, an otherwise 5 star product.
It seems to me they have made a design error, or I am missing something.
If you look closely, you can see the various chambers. The very top chamber contains the teeth that will tear your herbs apart, into pieces small enough to fall through the holes in the plate that forms the bottom of the grinder. It is quite a shallow section.

The next chamber is slightly less shallow, less than half an inch, and that is where your ground herb is. Because it is shallow, you cant prepare a good quantity in advance. The herb bulks out when chopped, it takes more space, as there is now more air in it, so it is soon filled.

The base of the second layer is fine gauze, tiny dust particles can pass through this, they can then fall though an over half an inch thick
chamber, and land on the base cap chamber, which is about a quarter of an inch deep.

It takes ages to even become a noticeable layer. This known as scuff, and is a mixture of pollen, THC crystals, and fine dust from a flour head.
So, the windowed section is pretty useless. You could store more herbs in there I suppose, and any “scuff” from the grinding process would fall on it, that wouldn’t matter though.
I can’t believe this is the way it’s supposed to be used, so I think it’s a design flaw. If they had placed the mesh at the bottom of the windowed chamber, it would have made much more sense.
    Nonetheless, a very nice grinde

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGrinds my herbs up really well, nice and thick. I dont really know why the mesh is there though. It kind of takes away some of the flavor from whichever herb i use. Great for soups.
