How do you rate a product like this ?
I have no valid way of measuring the effectiveness or otherwise, so all I can really say is that Amazon is the cheapest place I could find to buy them, and they are genuine products.

I always use manufacturer filters but in very hard water areas this isn’t enough , I recommend using pre filtered and cooled boiled water to help prevent limes ale build up internally as I have experienced twice

It’s a water filter. Costs more than you want and needs replacing every month or so (please follow guidelines on packaging for exact length) but.. keeps your coffee tasting right, and hopefully stops your machine crapping out.

Enjoy a smooth coffee with only the purest of water with this water filter . For use with your De’Longhi coffee machine, this filter refines the taste of your hot drinks by reducing limescale and improving machine performance. But im not to happy with it also because when you put the filter in it doesn’t properly secure and moves around.
pricey taste
Quite expensive for what it is and how oftdn it needs replacing. However since installing it I have noticed a difference in taste . It takes away the bitter taste. Not sure im prepared to spend 60 per year on coffee filters.
Works from the outset.
Honestly, I didn’t expect these to make any difference whatsoever, but boy, was I wrong. Completely changed the taste of my coffee from the first cup and they last for ages. Will definitely keep buying these.
Product used in our delonghi coffee machine all the time, keeping it de calcified. Not only does the coffee taste better but keeps our machine in good condition. Essential in hard water areas
This is an essential add on to the coffee maker purchased. It adds cost but the risk in not renewing the filters is yours and if ignored, may damage the coffee maker. When considering the cost of the coffee maker, this is a splash in the coffee cup.

Can’t live without these filters, you can taste the difference in the coffee when the filter expires past it’s life time.
If you live in London and have a bean to cup machine that supports these, then it’s a must!
A necessary bit of TLC for your Coffee Machine
Coffee Machines require a little TLC to enable them to perform at their best with a long lifespan. i.e.. Regular Cleaning, Maintenance, Descaling and Replacement of the Water Filter. These filters aren’t cheap individually but are discounted when bought in bulk. Simple to fit and with no worries!
It works...
The filter is the genuine article and does the job. I’d prefer to have something re-usable or re-filllable as it seems wasteful and costly to get replacements every few weeks. That said, this product works and is easy to fit.
Compatible with DEDICA EC 680, it slots inside the water reservoir. We live in a hard water area and before buying this we had to de-scale after a few weeks of use. Too early to tell how effective it is (so 4 stars for the moment) but it seems to be keeping the de-scale warning light at bay.
