Good product which does what it says, but quite a small size and I wish they would make the bottle a bit more attractive to sit on my bathroom sink!
As someone with palmar psoriasis, it is nice to have products around the home that don’t look ‘medical.

A very useful product for anyone who reacts badly to typical soap products, particularly those with eczema.

Purchased this product for my wife. She suffers from with very dry skin on her hands which seems to be aggravated by normal soap.
She uses this product together with moisturising gel & it works better than anything else she’s tried.
She now uses 4 doublebass to in total & her hands are never sore sore or cracked anymore.

    Highly recommended

Don’t know if it can wash away the dirt and grease on the hands. It contains no scent and leather. I don’t know if it values for money or not but it is not cheap.

As anybody with chronic dry skin will know it’s a constant battle and if you can avoid your skin actually cracking you might consider yourself to be ahead of the game. The clever thing about putting moisturiser in a hand wash is it makes hand care compulsory. It’s all too easy to buy skin cream and forget to put it on, especially if your hands are going through a comparatively healthy and normal spell.

This silky smooth hand wash lasted ages, as you only need to use a little bit. If you are also sparing with the amount of water you use it does actually work, although to be honest I’m not convinced it’s the best deal in the dry skin hand wash sector. I love the concept but you can find similar things more keenly priced if the cost is a consideration.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have seborrheic dermatitis. I was going to a friends wedding in a week. I had a huge flare up. I was f*!$/^. Saw this on Amazon. Bought it. Used it as stated on the instructions. 1 week later was at my friends wedding very nearly almost dermatitis free. Scabby eyebrows nearly gone. Redness & skin coming off just about gone. Confidence through the roof. Nuff said.

This is a fairly odd product being marketed as both a moisturised and a hand wash in one. And it does feel fairly different in consistency to other hand washes that have moisturising capabilities.

I personally feel it did help my hands be more moisturised after use but I found my hands didn’t have that ‘fresh’ feeling most other hand washes give.

This is perhaps something I will use here and there in winter when my hands are the driest to help them along but it is not a hand wash that would replace my current one.

The price doesn’t help it either and I do not think it is worth the price. I’d much rather buy a standard hand wash and the moisturise my hands afterwards.

Ok ok So we have hand washes and we have moisturising creams Thats the way its always been, thats what I’m used to and Im alright with that

Well maybe this should be the new way or at least have a seizable array of products so that a market can be established

I love the fact that this product is trying to be the answer to two different instances all in one solution. A little too plain and medicated in scent, at least this compound tackles things such as eczema. So thick as a lotion, I can feel it still working minutes after I put it on as it seems to be rich in oils. Its brilliant that I can also use this as a hand wash and even more importantly (through having a hand washing compulsion) feel that the numerous instances are working for me rather than against me as the skin is being nurtured.

I will look forward to more iterations like this in the future.

My Husband occasionally suffers from very dry skin on his hands. When he has it, the skin on his hands cracks and it is very painful. Washing his hands can make it worse, but obviously at the moment he is washing his hands more often as well as using hand sanitiser. His hands are very dry.
We are familiar with Double Base emollient cream, having used it in the past, so I was keen to try this handwash.
This doesn’t foam up or have a scent to it, something that skin problems don’t always need. I personally did not feel like my hands were very clean after using it, but I don’t have problems with my hands and I don’t really need to use this product.
My Husband did use it when his hands were very dry and it didn’t irritate his skin like other hand wash can. He did find it good to use when his hands were dry. However he didn’t feel clean enough for hand washing during the Pandemic. He also continues to use hand sanitiser so his hands are still a bit dry. He does think that this product helps though.
It is quite expensive and it doesn’t seem to last as long as our usual handwash does. We will continue to buy this, but only use it when required.

So the description states this is a:-
Doublebase dry skin hand wash, moisturising, non-foaming & non-drying. Also suitable for skin prone to eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis, free from soap, SLS and parabens, 200g.

It tell you that it’s:- To help clean and soothe dry, chapped and irritated skin. Can also be used as a hand lotion and left on after washing to moisturise the skin.
Which I can agree, because of covid and the extra washing of hands and hand sanitiser etc..
I have eczema, psoriasis on parts of my body and also I have reactions to some cleaners, so I do have to watch what I use. I use dirobase cream already and thought this must be a similar product for my skin.
    Also my mother has C. R. E. S. T. and it’s another cream she’s also found help.

I’m mostly been useing this after washing my hands. To get some moisture back into my skin.
Being a pump action bottle also helps with the amount you use each time so no wastage.

This product does not contain soap or antibacterials. Do not expect a lather. But the ingredients are a little slippery and bond with the dirt to wash it off.

The main ingredients are substances you more normally associate with hand cream and are both moisturising and promote absorption into the skin. But if like me you are washing your hands frequently, and finding that your hands feel tight and a little sore, then this can help. After washing, you can use the same product as a handcream!

Marked down a star as it is quite expensive. You could also try washing your hands in your favourite hand cream!

This is pretty good value for money but I think I would purchase this on the ‘Subscribe and Save’ option if I moved to this regularly. Whilst it is soothing on my skin, I don’t like how it is so unnoticeable as an actual soap.

The bottle is quite small — 200g. For someone who washes their hands so much as a result of young children, a week on and I find I am nearly halfway through the bottle. When the product arrived, the outer box was damaged; this did not impact the bottle itself.

The cream is unscented, non-greasy and I found my skin felt soothed after using, compared to my usual soaps. However, as it does not lather up, it is barely noticeable and slides off the skin. I want a soap that has bubbles and makes me feel convinced that my hands are clean; this handwash does not reassure me. So, although it definitely protect the skin, I do not believe it is anti-bacterial enough. Consequently, I find I ma using this more as a hand cream, rather than a soap.

As a hand cream, it is quickly absorbed. The lack of scent is not a problem because my hands definitely feel better after several applications. My dry, cracked fingers are less sore and the skin is starting to heal — win!

Personally, I will not be using this as a permanent hand wash and will likely only use this on days when my hands feel very sore. For the rest of the time, I will stick to my bubbly, scented soap and use this bottle for moisturising instead. It’s a good idea to have in the kitchen when you have sore hands but be prepared for a rather lack-lustre soap.

A 200g plastic container of hand wash.

This is dry chapped or irritated skin, and is suitable for skin prone to eczema, psoriasis and and dermatitis.

It comes in a cardboard box. The container itself is quite squat and short. There’s a nozzle and pump at the top. This has to be twisted in the direction of the arrow on it to get it to open and allow the product out.

This is one of those things that is irksome till you suddenly figure it out.

The squat design is a little irksome as well, as it requires a fair bit of effort, more than you would expect, to get the product to come out.

It doesn’t dry. It doesn’t foam. And it’s soap free. So there’s no lather. Or scent that I could discern.

But when washed off right after, my hands did feel quite clean. So it does it’s job.

An adequate product. No more, no less.

This is a great hand wash, particularly at the moment where everyone’s washing their hands more at the moment and all the sanitising causes dryness too.

This is particularly perfect for my Partner who due to cancer treatment suffers from very dry, cracked, sore fingers which despite moisturising all day, just do not get better, so that teamed up with harsher anti-bac handwashes just increases the problems. This is a non foaming soap free wash in a pump which is very gentle, scent free and irritant free and leaves your hands feeling soft.

This is similar to the type of consistency that the eczema emollient body wash is that doctors can supply that doesn’t foam up either. I’ve given 4 stars as it’s more than we’d generally pay for a handwash but for those with skin problems this could be the answer.

Great for dry skin and definitely helps keep hands soft.

    – Moisturising
    – Non-Foaming & Non-Drying
    – Also Suitable for Skin Prone to Eczema, Psoriasis and Dermatitis

A very milky Lotion product that is very rich and leaves skin very hydrated and soft, without needing to apply hand lotion afterwards.
It doesn’t lather or foam and I particularly don’t like this feature, but it seems to be efficiently washing well.
It has a subtle scent that is agreeable.
