Love 'em
I bought a set of 4 a few days ago, loved them so much, I bought 4 more!! They look great in the garden. They are good value for money, compared to some advertised on FaceAche
5.0 out of 5 stars Looks like fireflies
Delightful. Hide the stalks and this looks like fireflies. Blows on the breeze.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great solar lights
Very pleased with these garden lights. Don’t need a lot of sun for them to work when it gets dark & shine lovely & bright and for ages.
5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning solar lights
I love these fairy solar lights. Nothing I dislike. Absolutely stunning at dawn shine among the flowers & shrub. Would recommend.
Lovely lights
I bought some of these for myself and some for my Mum. They are so lovely. I like that each strand changes colour but they are never the same colour. They look so pretty. The delicate movement is nice to watch. Definitely recommend these. Good value.
4.0 out of 5 stars Look effective & different to the usual solar lights
Sometimes all the LEDs don’t work but think it’s due to the strength of sunlight & exposure. Look good once lit & give off bright light. Quite top heavy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great lights
Really effective light display in the garden in the evenings. Love these lights
Perfect .
These garden lights are exactly what I was looking for. They are perfect dotted around my garden. Not cheap in my view but good quality and hopefully they will last till summer is over.
Lovely lights
Very pleased with these lights, they look lovely mixed in amongst the borders and give off a soft light. Easy to set up and lit up the first night they were installed.
Whilst more expensive than some similar products, I went for these as there are 10 bulbs (rather than 6 or 8 on other brands). They work effectively and seem to last longer than many of my other solar lights in the garden. They glow a soft golden-white. They sway a little, but I think you’d need a few sets to look as effective as in the image shown. I’d buy more if they weren’t so expensive!
It’s a shame that the solar panel is not separate from the lights, as I’d like to put the lights in a setting similar to the image, in amongst long leaves, to look most effective, but the solar panels would then be in the shade. Instead I’ve had to put them where they get the most daylight.
Box very bland
Gave these as a present – box arrived slightly damaged and very bland – had to print off a colour picture and stick it to the box otherwise my recipient wouldn’t have known what they were .
Seemed easy to assemble and time will tell if they are effective .
Looks beautiful in the garde
These solar lights look really beautiful in our garden, and they were super easy to install.
You get 2 in the pack and both come with sticks to stick them in the ground. Youll need somewhere soft!
Price is probably my only problem, 22.99 is a bit steep! I have the white lights which are cheaper. The coloured lights are even more expensive and i honestly wouldn’t of paid that amount for 2 lights.
They do look beautiful though. I love how they wave in the wind and the little clank they make when they click together. They look like light up reeds 🙂 beautiful.
Very pretty, if a little pricey…
I’d seen these on social media so jumped at the chance to test these in return for an honest review. They come with a metal spike with you attach to the spiked bottom of the lights which fits well together and easy enough to do, this then means they can be placed in the ground, or pots easily. The solar light section is quite big and you can position it up or down in order to pick up the sun. It has an on and off switch underneath. They glow really well from catching the sun even after a few hours and not all day. The stems that the light orbs are attached to are quite long, with the solar panel section at the base of the stems. So you can’t hide that part in greenery or it won’t get the sun, and they won’t work at night. Because the stems are attached at the base by the solar panel, they do have a tendency to clump together. However, they do look really pretty lit up at night waving around in a gentle breeze. They almost look like fireflies. I thought they were a little pricey, currently selling at the 22 mark. I would happily pay somewhere around the 17 mark for these. One of these reasons being that in order to get the full effect of them I do feel you would need to purchase more sets as they would look amazing with lots of them bobbing about in the breeze.
Multicoloured Changing Solar Lights
There are 6 x flexible stems coming off 1 large stem which has a solar powered panel attached.
On each of the 6 flexible stems, there is a multicoloured colour changing bauble.
You receive 2 solar lights with 6 baubles on each light.
They are flexible so a little breeze and these move around, backwards and forwards.
They light up dusk till dawn, automatically turn off at sunrise and back on at sunset.
Very low maintenence, just make sure the solar panel has some direct sunlight throughout the day and these lights will look after themselves!
Beautiful little solar light but they need more than a breeze to sway !!
Beautiful little solar lights. No electricity, no wiring, no plugs.
Just insert the pole in the soil and they will turn on from dusk, even before its dark as I tried to show in one of my photos.
The solar panel is really large, which helps to accumulate good amount of energy during the day and light up from dusk to dawn.
They are a lovely upgrade to my flower bed.
I only wished if the wires that holds the bulbs are bit thinner so they would sway with the lightest breeze.
Pretty and quirky, I love them!
I love solar garden lights and already have quite a few dotted around my front and back gardens but these ones looked a bit different, I liked the fact they sway in the breeze and are clustered together!
You get two sets of the lights and they are very easy to set up, just remove the thin plastic coating from the small solar panels and pop the spiked pieces into the ground, with the piece with the spheres attached.
Obviously you need them to be in a position where they will be charged by the sun for a few hours, mine worked even after a short period outside, and make sure they are well secured into the ground. There is just the one on/off switch on the reverse of the solar panel. They last at least eight hours if it is a sunny day, mine were still lit up at 3am last night.
There are six lights on each one which change colour and they do look very pretty, they are waterproof so should prove to be durable. They do sway nicely in the breeze, as the spheres are quite rubbery.
They do look nicer lit of course but they don’t look too out of place in the daytime, especially if you place them close to plants so they blend in. I do think another set would probably make them stand out more but at over 20 that would prove costly.
Having looked at similar items the prices seem to be varied and there are more impressive looking lights that are slightly cheaper, but overall I would recommend these lights, they feel well made and the swaying effect although fairly subtle is a nice touch. A couple of people have asked me where I got them so they are obviously being noticed and appreciated. Anything that diverts their attention from the weeds on my path is a good thing!
Solar Lights
I stuck these in a trough in our back garden to get them charged up and just see how good they look, on there own I don’t think they look that effective they need to be with something near as tall to give a good effect, you get two bunches that once stuck in the ground should move around in the wind but unfortunately there was no wind about so I just had to give them a helping hand.
These are going to be placed in our front garden in amongst a similar but more colourful set of lights and these do look pretty good alongside those.
These are obviously solar powered so they need a sunny spot for best effect, once turned on they will come on when it get dark and slowly run down over the evening, these ones lasted from about 9pm until the early hours, but where I put them is south facing and gets full sun, where they are going is north facing and gets partial shade so might not charge quite as well and therefore shorter run time.
pretty
They are easy to assemble and look pretty enough when in place.
The strands don’t separate very much and there is no way to manipulate/position them.
They do sway a little it but they move together rather than independently.
They might look better placed in between plants? but then they wouldn’t really move.
not bad but not as nice as i was hoping for.
