Great Value
This is the second time i have brought these shoes. Used for work as they are comfy enough to spend all day in while on your feet and excellent for use in the warehouse as well.
Steel Toe
These are stated as lightweight, but in reality, there’s not much way for something to be lightweight, when it has a steel-capped toe cover inside of it.
Nonetheless, this safety shoe does just that, keeps your feet safe.
It’s not the most comfortable shoe, but i don’t think any steel-capped boots are.
It does its job well, and it’s perfectly fine.
Comfortable and stylish with added protectio
Great pair of steel toe cap trainers feel very comfortable and bouncy like any other trainers they fit well and provide me protection whilst I’m out tending my garden so please with the product and reasonable priced
Strong grip and durable shoes
These shoes are durable and very well made. They have good grip to the floor which are breathable. They are lightweight for steel toe cap trainers and comfortable to walk around in. They fitted as expected and are a subtle design. 4*!
Offer good protectio
Not the most comfortable after prolonged use, but they ARE well made and offer very good protection.
The fit is true to size and although they are a little on the heavy side, they aren’t as heavy as some other brands.
good protection, look casual
his is a safety trainer with steel toe, it’s also waterproof, ordered it for site work, it doesn’t look like ordinary safety shoes, it looks more casual and actually it’s more comfortable with breathable fabric and thick insole, it’s more heavy than expected but definitely lightweight than a leather safety shoe
ordered uk 8 size, but it’s a bit tight for me, so i think 8.5 would be better and more comfortable, the toe is obviously protected with a heavy and thick steel cap, i believe it will work well, and from outside it really just look like an ordinary trainer
the sole is like rubber material, seems sturdy and puncture proof
the shoe is waterproof, however the woven material may not easy to clean like a leather shoe when mud and dirt get into it
all in all, i’m happy with this product, would recommend
Good value safety trainers
These safety trainers are comfortable and effective, so at the current price of just over 30 I think they are great value. They are perfect for using when doing any tasks involving heavy items (such as changing slabs in the garden, as I’ve been doing recently), as they protect the toes from injury but they are comfortable enough to move around in too.
They also fit as expected too, so I would definitely recommend, although they are not waterproof as stated (and I didn’t expect them to be when I looked at them).
Not bad
These work trainers look smart and have steel toe caps for extra protection. They look large and they seem to be on the large size, at least for womens feet. He style is good although they were quite squashed on arrival. The price seems reasonable but I haven’t tested out their waterproof ability due to them being too big.
Good solid footwea
These black trainers are lightweight and breathable. I have not tested the steel toe cap, but it certainly feels solid. the shoe is “high rise” which I like as it’s more supportive than your typical trainer. There are also arch supports which may feel weird at first if you’re not used to them. I love these and will be using them to walk to dogs. Would recommend.
Very comfortable shoes, allows the foot to breathe whilst the front is incredibly strong and rigid
Very nice an stylish shoe, I liked the fabric looks really good, materials very soft and comfy.
The front is extremely rigid that I could use this to do heavy duty work if needed,
The only problem is the laces, as there are about 7 holes on each side it’s very cumbersome to slip your foot in quickly, it takes few minutes to get the laces loosened up before.
Other than that the shoe is very good and I do like it.
Comfortable and safe
I got these for hubby as he does a lot of outdoor work and I thought they’d be useful for him. He actually takes a size 10 but I got these in an 11 and was glad I did as they are a nice comfortable fit. They don’t open as wide as other trainers, however, he didn’t really have any problem getting them on.
Style – Not too bad as they look like standard trainers and you’d never really guess they had steel toe-caps. They are obviously a lot heavier than ordinary trainers, but not too heavy.
Comfort – So far, he says they are comfortable to wear although I would say he hasn’t had a need to wear them for longer than an hour so far.
Durability – Hard to tell. The soles are supposed to be puncture-proof, so this is good and should make them last. The top material I wouldn’t bank on lasting a long time unless there were not overused.
Value for money – At the time of review, these retail for 35.90 which is pretty average to high, however, I am aware that they are not just an average trainer. Do I think they are worth the price tag? Maybe, but would only pay it if I thought the person really needed them and would get a good amount of use out of them.
Stylish and strong trainers
The DYKHMILY Safety Trainers, which are made in China, are very well made with a very strong sole and built in heel and a fabric top. The steel toecap offers protection from any falling items. The trainers are comfortable to wear with their padded insole and look smart worn as casual wear or formal wear.
Although the trainers are lace up, there is no frontal slit and tongue and I personally find the trainers very difficult to put on. Usually, with slip on shoes, there are elastic panels at the sides to stretch the opening but with these trainers I found it difficult to stretch the opening, after the front of my foot has been inserted, and for me to slide the heel into the back of the shoe. Hopefully, over time, the cloth opening will stretch and make it easier for me to insert my foot into each trainer. There is no loop at the back of the trainer and the one at the front of the opening, where the tongue would otherwise be, is too small for me to put a finger in or grip with my thumb and index finger. A larger front loop and back loop would have been a great help in slipping the foot into the trainer.
The trainers arrived in a sealed cellophane bag rather than a cardboard box, which was disappointing from a recycling point of view. For tidiness reasons, I like to keep shoes and trainers in their boxes when they are not in use, otherwise cardboard is recyclable while the cellophane bag has had to be thrown into household waste. Not good in the current climate.
Overall, I am pleased with the trainers and just hope they will be easier to put on over time.
Difficult to put on, a little expensive.
I got these to use in my workshop, they where delivered in shrink wrap, first thing I noticed is the shoes looked distorted especially around the heel please see pictures, I normally take size 10 but with this type of shoe I got an 11 but they still come up a little tight, I found them very difficult to put on even with the laces completely loosened, ounce on they are ok but I am still put off by the fact they feel distorted, but they aren’t dancing shoes so I will see how they go after a few months, not sure if I would recommend due to the points above.
Tough shoe, good sizing, good protection, comfortable
Sizing is good – I am a 42 and these are labelled as 42.5 (and sold as 8.5 ), and these fit nicely and are comfortable.
It’s a bit of a struggle to get them on and off, as rather than have a tongue, the upper is continuous, so you can’t open up the shoe to get it on – you have to shove your foot in and wriggle it about while pulling on the sides and back. Achievable, but the process will eventually damage the top. They could do with a finger loop to assist pulling them on.
Look very strong, and will give good protection with the steel toe caps and puncture proof sole. You don’t expect a steel toecap shoe to be elegant, but being all black theses don’t scream safety shoe as some work wear does.
Inner sole nicely cushioned.
Design is novel to me, with the laces going through plastic side fittings and not through the upper, which will make them more waterproof.
All in all – not a bad shoe. Whether they’re worth their pennies, only time will tell…
Worth going half size bigge
These trainers are slip on with laces steel toe cap is good and doesn’t rub my toe I’m a size ten and fit very snugly so would recommend going half size up from normal size for better fit although they probably will give a little after wear hopefully
They are ok...
They are ok, they are trainer-like looking and they do have a steel toe protector. I would expect though for what you pay to come in a proper shoe box not wrapped in plastic in a brown amazon bag.
All in all they do fit me and they protect your toes so ok .
