The non-stick coating is very effective, so be very careful not to scratch it.
Before using it, do some cold experiments to find the right amount of mix to put in the pan before closing it, otherwise it might spill out during cooking.
I bought this as I started to make ice cream by hand and found I had egg whites left over, Found a recipe online for cones that use the egg whites, after a little test I found this to work well but you have to be quick, it is cheaper than the electric version but worth it for occasional use, I would suggest this is not something for young children as you can burn yourself quite easily if you are not careful, mine tasted wonderful but it would depend on your recipe.
