It was easy to put down on the carpet and can be mopped over when necessary. Used to help maintain a clean environment in a challenging situation.

Ive only used this on light carpets to pretect them during a winter BBQ. Its got very good adhesion to the carpet and saved on a lot of cleaning from spilt drinks and dirty footmarks i think its a fantastic product and will use a lot. I’ll use in work environment as well now i know it doesnt damage the carpets. Not sure i would use on wood flooring juat becasue is so sticking and my advice, when you are removing it check the carpet is well stuck or gripped down as it is likely to lift it if you’re not steady whem removing it. Fantastic product!!

Prompt delivery. Covered hallway and two bay window areas 3 meters deep. Stayed in place for six days whilst decor made good. Lifted easily. Carpets like new! Thanks.

Used this while having a kitchen completely refitted, numerous tradespeople over the course of three weeks, and some wet weather to boot, carpets survived intact.

It does need two people to put down well on stairs, otherwise it’s a bit of a struggle. There isn’t any residual stickiness on carpeting which was covered for 3 weeks, but I’m making sure it doesn’t get left on for more that 4 weeks as advised in the instructions. If you have dogs, their claws can make holes in this just from normal running around but it’s much stronger in 2 layers.

I always use this or similar products. When it’s recyclable plastic it will be 5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI really wasn’t sure if this was going to protect my living room carpet when we had a party on a wet day with a gazebo outside our French doors but I needn’t have been concerned it worked really well.

It took a bit of time and practice to work out the best way to lay it but once we had it went down really well and was quite unobtrusive. One of our concerns was if the ladies high heels would go through the plastic but they didn’t so all was good!

Once the party was over we managed to take it up without any problems and it left the carpet looking just as it had before the event and I shudder to think what it would have been like without it!

    Thoroughly recomended!

Easy to install and remove. It is important to remove after 3 weeks after which time the carpet will feel a little sticky. Vacuuming and exposing to the air soon removes the residue and can then reapply with fresh film if needed a couple of days later.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was rather sceptical about using this on my 42oz pure wool carpet.
    I need not have worried.
Went down okay on the straight lengths no problem
Stairs were a bit more tricky with the roll sticking to itself.
Secret is be patient and allow yourself time.
When overlapping make sure you don’t get air bubbles because each time you step on them they’ll pop (not break or burst) and prove to be noisey as a result of movement
Removal easy and no residue or marks and carpet still in tact and not affected at all.
Did what it was supposed to do and I will definitely use agai

We used this whilst decorating and ended up leaving it in place for our bonfire night party (socially distanced and LFT’s done) a week or so later. It withstood all of the traffic from the party and them came up really easily the next morning. Really pleased with this product, and we have enough left for our next party

GREAT for keeping your floors and carpets protected whenever you have a party like we did in the garden’ with people walking in and out, PERFECT and so easy to lay and remove’ it took about 10 minutes to lay through the house hallway stairs landing and through the living room
And about 5 minutes to lift off and throw in the bin Brilliant stuff.

I was a little concerned about buying this type of carpet protection because of warnings over its use with 100% wool carpets. Our carpet was 80% wool so I thought I’d give it a go in readiness for moving house. I found it easy to lay, it worked perfectly and came off again about 16 hours later, leaving our cream carpet pristine. Excellent product.

Excellent product, when we moved in laid to protect the carpet from workmen, stayed down for weeks, easy to apply as it’s sticky on the outside so just rolls down, others have the stickiness on the inner side of the roll so very awkward to lay. Very strong and great fun popping the bubbles as you walk around on it.

This is a great product when it’s down, but it’s tricky to roll out. Who ever designed it has not used sellotape, as for some reason the sticky side faces out, not inwards, like sellotape does. This means it’s a real struggle to put down as it sticks to everything! Very frustrating. Once stuck down though it’s brilliant.

Had this down on my stairs and landing for just over 2 weeks. Worked really well although some trapped air bubbles underneath caused the landing to sound like you were walking on bubble wrap. Really pleased with it as a product. It came up easily and collected dirt and debris on the adhesive.

Wasn’t sure that this roll would be any good but I was wrong. delivery was quick and the price is good. I wanted to protect my hallway carpet from wet feet. I was able to roll this adhesive plastic out with no problem. It adhered well to the carpet and is easy to remove. Would definitely recommend.

I went for the everbuild roll because their products are generally very good.

This is no different – I didn’t think it was going to work, the sticky side being on the outside was counter intuitive, but makes sense once you get you head around it, and when fitting the adhesion seems to be too little.

However, we put it down on a deep pile carpet to decorate, it went down fine, and it’s stayed in place and had ripped or punctured. It also pulled off really easily. We used it around the perimeter of the room to protect against the gloss paint on the skirting board, and it worked brilliantly.

This roll n stroll saved all our carpets during our house move. We covered the stairs in both the old and new houses, along with other areas.
The removal men said it was great, and better than other adhesive coverings they’d seen. Others peeled off stairs after a short time, and became a hazard. This stuff stayed stuck to stairs and other carpets for days, until we chose to remove it.
    Definitely recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat product. Why didn’t I know of this years ago? Had, well still having a new kitchen. Taking forever but that’s another story. Easy to use. This has been tested with heavy items being dragged across it and its quite sturdy. Some tears on the stairs due to dragging heavy cabinets up there (first floor kitchen) . Use the yard brush on it to sweep up sawdust. Painting is easier than having sheets bunching up on the floor. Hasn’t lifted to cause trip hazard.
Took up the strips in the dining room and it came up easily enough without any residue after 4 weeks of being down.
If only my kitchen fitter was as reliable!!

This is a very useful product but really hard to install and it’s rolled around itself without anything in between so it sticks to itself loads and you end up losing big chunks.

If you have some help will definitely protect your carpet really well and super easy to remove.

A bit tricky to use first time so an extra person is good to have nearby.
Corners, doorways, fireplaces are tricky to do neatly on your own but straight runs are fine.
Seems strong and has not torn despite working with a ladder on it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this after recommendation from a friend. Having an extension built so wanted to protect carpets from dust etc. It’s a great idea, and seems to work to an extent.
My reservations are that firstly it doesn’t seem to stick longer than a day, after that it comes away from the carpet, it is still in place but would have preferred it to stay stuck fully. Secondly, I used it on the stairs and it seems to not stick well on the drops of the stairs, so they end up coming away and could cause a potential trip hazard.

Of course, it could be my carpets that are hindering the adhesion but I give four stars overall.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seems to work but not on stairs

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWasn’t sure about this after reading reviews saying how difficult it is to put down, but my dad swears by it so I ordered it. Desperate to protect my carpets from a leaky roof with a storm on the way. Goes down well. Simple enough to fit by yourself, easy to dodge around wall mounted door stoppers and still get it fitted flush to the wall, simple to overlap, and if you do what I did and get it stuck to itself, just put your knee on the roll and pull it apart. I managed to get the very end folded over too (I was fitting it around 2 cats that have a love of crackly plastic) I just stuck it down and cut that bit off. Good stuff I’m pleasantly impressed !

5.0 out of 5 stars Good stuff

    ‘Roll and Stroll’
    Achieves its goal
    (Protecting carpets)

    It plays a role
Gets you out of a hole
    But it’s hard to control
    (Especially on stairs)

    As you tug and cajole
    It will take its toll
    On your heart and soul
    (And your marriage)

You’ll be mad like a troll
    You won’t find it droll
But stick with ‘Roll and Stroll’
And it will stick with you, your carpet, and most of all itself (like extra thick clingfim on steroids)

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood product that would have scored higher if it had said get two people to put it down
It was quite fiddly to lay especially on stairs and it is a right bugger when it sticks to itself in the middle of putting down a long length. All that being said, when you’ve put it down it lasts a long time and really does a great job of protecting the carpet (if you don’t puncture it!). And if you lay it pretty flat it also makes cleaning up between work sessions really easy. I would brush, hoover and then wash down with a damp cloth so that I could leave it for a few days between work sessions and it didn’t annoy my wife too much……

This is an excellent high quality product – far better than more expensive versions I’ve seen in DIY stores. It’s wider, thicker and sticker than a very expensive version of this product I bought from Homebase. Make my decorating a hassle free dream. It can be a little difficult to work with, it does like to stick to itself – think of a big roll of sellotape. But with perseverance and a bit of practice, it provides great protection. I wish I’d bought more of the stuff as I ran out just before the end of the job, hence buying a more expensive, worse version of this product.

Highly recommended, just buy more than you need.
