Being of the Oder generation, I have seen the graphics on computer games come from 16 bits (yes really) to what we have today. The graphics on this game are literally the same as watching it on Tv live. It’s unbelievable.
The only thing I will say, you do need a wheel to play to any decent level, but if it’s just for fun, it’s bang on. Just some hard skin on your fingers after a while.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGame is next level and when you play it with the thrustmaster T248 it’s a good combination makes the game feel like I’m actually driving F1 car on a simulator.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is just a solid, well made game. After years of playing different F1 games, this has now reached a point where it is the most realistic, most thrilling and most enjoyable one.
The graphics are fantastic, it doesn’t quite feel as if you’re there because of the surroundings but I’d be surprised if it could get much better.
The gameplay and in game experience is great and the different circuits are fantastic and wholly lifelike.
If you’ve played others, even F1 21, you will see this as a great improvement and still enjoy it as much.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA new era for Formula One. The game itself is basically a repolish of last year’s entry. Graphics improved, a few additions this year like supercars which are a good idea. Haven’t tried it yet though. The realism of career mode seems to have improved and although we all loved Jeff, kinda glad they’ve moved away from him. Makes it seem a bit less robotic but they could have added multiple race engineers to choose from to add to the realism. Maybe next year.

The game itself feels a bit easier to drive, I find myself spinning out a lot less.

The downside to the game is the AI, the only real problem at the moment. Well, there’s two but I’ll come onto the 2nd in a moment…. the AI need a buff. Massively overpowered on the straights regardless of what difficulty you’re playing on. Even with DRS (under 1 second behind the car in front of you), you can still notice them pulling away from you. It’s mental and I hope it gets fixed because it’s ruining it to be honest. I’m sure a small patch is all the game needs.

The 2nd issue is the sector counter. Currently in qualifying, you’ll complete a sector but you won’t be indicated whether you completed a red, yellow, green or purple sector. The sector time, isn’t displayed either, I don’t believe. Though again, something else that can be fixed with a small patch. I’m sure that’ll come soon.

All in all, a decent upgrade from last season. A refreshed version with the addition of Miami (fun circuit), changes to Abu Dhabi and the new cars, it’s worth the 52 I paid on preorder. Wouldn’t say it’s worth the full 70 RRP though. Happy with the purchase.

Best f1 game since f1 championship edition PS3
Pros graphics sound are brilliant career in f1 is very detailed,
Cons career f2 very basic only 7 tracks,
Podium graphics turns the drivers and others on the stand completely black for some reason, grid pictures look like from PS2 when shows starting grid,
Will be a 5* game when them bugs are sorted game is very easy untill you change all the settings but if find too easy play it online

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe pre-order content bonus code didn’t work on the day of release, but the next day they sorted it out and it worked. The game so far is great, and the new features are great.
