Sandpaper works great only problem is that the package was supposed to have 3 different grits in it but the 220 grit was not included in the original package instead I ended up with 20 sheets of 120 grit instead of 10 120 grit and 10 220 gri
Much better than the cheaper sheets you can buy. This did not fall apart and was easy to cut to the size we needed. The backing is strong and held well. Worth paying the extra for quality and ease of use. Good selection of sanding grades too.
Good quality sandpaper, thickness is nice the handle, where if sanding by hand on wood you still get some feedback through the wood on yours hands, but at the same time its very durable and lasts a good while.
Highly recommend.
made the mistake of buying cheap paper and this paper has shown me what a fool i was , this is good strong paper that lasts , pay the money don’t scrimp its a false economy
Fandeli – the God of all sandpaper! By far the most superior Sandpaper product used to date. Fact!
This pack has a good varied Grits that are useful for diy projects, Professionals and much more. Noticeably this sandpaper clogs up less frequent, with the Grit itself lasting considerably longer in use, with less wearing in comparison to others, seemingly going on and on.
All previously sandpaper was purchased from our local well known tool store, that in fairness was OK, it did the job, eventually, this the line of thinking until desperate in need when out of stock, as we had arranged for a couple of (cheap) labourers in to prepare a kitchen, that turned out to be such a horrendous job, and after searching online for sandpaper, we happened upon this pack with next day delivered, and will never buy another brand ever again, pfft, laziness of damn convenience at times!
Initial thoughts were how it’s pricey, yet, the reality is in when using: because of it’s superiority it lasts so much longer, no exaggeration when stating it lasts much longer then say likes of (screwfx) Oakley or the other Red product, in fact superior to any other previously used sandpaper to date.
If we could rate this Fandeli sandpaper at a 10, again, best product we’ve seen/used, we’d put a 5 max 6 on any other “best sandpapers” previously used, it is simply far superior in many ways, partly down to the Grit itself, the lads were sure happy with the difference.
The paper is also notably of a *good thickness, therefore strong and because of this tears it less frequent in use, having seen it used in a sheet sander, again, it’s just brilliant, makes light of most jobs whichever Grit is used, much less hassles with likes of not having to change out, just cannot fault it, the best part being that since using this Fandeli product – overall we’ve bought much less sandpaper, actual less overall costs, hence being worthy of its asking price.
*One thing to note, as just mentioned, down to this sandpaper quality: it doesn’t fold well – it’s reasonably thick, we hazard a guess that it wouldn’t work well in likes of Orbital sanders, as once folded it cracks – best to cut to size, more so with the more Grittier Grits, lol.
Yet, this definitely by no means is not a negative, to repeat, thanks to how good it actually is, but it’s possibly not for every tool, both our workers had to use mainly by hand.
Quick example: with first purchase, we had labourers in to sand down a shocking recently plastered wall, that had only one coat of paint, a bad paint job desperately trying to hide an equally terribly skimmed wall, even the lads joked that Artexing prob would have been easier to remove!
Upon completion, ended up using 3 Fandeli sheets, compared to many of all other sandpaper, we ended up up buying several packs until thankfully finding this product.
Longer example: job to be done was sanding off a seriously terrible paint job, who knows what paint was used, painted on equally shocking recently skimmed kitchen walls that needed smoothing.
After going through 3 packs, at a guess, of other brands and still not finishing one wall, then buying this pack, it took a further 3 sheets to complete the remaining 3 and a half walls, by hand, and not 6 – 10 sheets with all other sandpaper on 1/2 – 3/4 of wall, mainly because of quickly clogging/fast wearing Grit, ah and the tearing, seriously unbelievably frustrating.
As this Fandeli sandpaper product is unquestionably and remarkably exceptional when compared with this job at hand, as when needed – just clean with a brush to help unclog and continue, with the Grit phenomenal, coupled with how it tears much less then any previous used sandpaper on this job (from hell), certainly helped make the job much easier to, thankfully, finish.
Will always make sure we have this to hand, hate to repeat, but such a notably and remarkable difference.
Oh, to add – we have NO connection whatsoever to Fandeli, firm believer in credit were credit’s due, this product is a stand out sandpaper and helped make light of a nasty job.
