Had toyed with getting the more expensive mechanical Fiskars weed extract but in the end went for the cheaper option & don’t regret it ! Absolutely brilliant – you just need to be able to bend down!

I would have liked the blade to have been a bit thinner as most of my flags are quite close together but that doesn’t detract from the fact that it is a quality item

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI used to use cheap thin “weedy” weeding knives. My last one broke (again) so I bought this. Initially, I thought, “bit big what’s this bit on the back.?”
Anyway, gave it a bash and it was excellent. Strong, sturdy and sure. This thing went in between the slabs and whatever was in the way, came up. Oh, and the bit on the back was a kind of lever to aid tough weeds.

I will not be buying a cheap one again and I would recommend to anyone.

Ideal for the heavy-handed user. Replaced a similar, though cheaper, Draper tool which eventually snapped after many years of faithful service. The Fiskars Xact is significantly stronger and larger/longer which may not suit everyone but it allows plenty of leverage. Early days as yet and time will tell if it can take the strain.

This is the best garden tool I’ve bought in years. Well made, strong and sturdy, a great length for getting down into long roots like dandelions making it easy to get them out and it’s got a comfortable handle. It’s a joy to use.

This is a good quality tool that does the job for which is made. Comfortable handle and easy to use to get weeds and grass out of the gaps between pavers or along the edge of paths and driveway. Very happy with my purchase.

Using it to get the moss and weeds from inbetween the ground bricks at the font of the house. Very useful so far and with a couple of different features on it to aid you.

Strong and easy to use I used it on a very big area and it did the job perfectly.
I’m a female aged 72 and it was a god send.
It’s strong and very good value for money.
    Definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is not a pleasant tool to use – scraping metal against concrete never is going to be fun. That said, this simple device makes clearing the crud between paving slabs and stones super easy and quick. One side can be used to run along the gaps and remove light weeds, grass and mud, making things look much neater. The other side is for really digging in to uproot deeper weeds. Very handy for a couple of specific jobs.

This thing is built like a tank. Riveted and welded. I can see this outlasting me.

Did a great job getting moss/weeds and grass from between our patio. Glad I went for this one. I’ve got other Fiskars products and they’re well engineered.

Would definitely recommend for 12 quid.

Bought this to remove small plants /weeds that grow in the cracks between our paths and patio. Does just that but i do wish the blade was just a bit thinner. Otherwise a good strong item.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSomehow this is a very good tool. IKEA-like use instructions that are barely readable orange and white on black and small. But just show its blade to any size of weed, and out comes the whole root with the stem. Good grip on handle and it feels like the knife stem runs almost the length of the handle, so it’s not lightweight, but is good for leverage.

This is a strong tool that does the job! The triangular scraper on the top of the long blade is excellent for neat clearing of weeds in grooves between flag stones. Very pleased with it.

This rake replaced my elderly steel round prong one which had lost most of its prongs. The Fiskars model has flat bladed prongs which are quite flexible and it needs a subtle technique to get the best use for whisking our leaves from under bushes etc. Overall, I like using it and while a bit more expensive than some other models on the market it is well made, lightweight and comfortable to hold.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersGreat product for patios covered in weeds and moss, as advertised. I purchased a weeding brush from a well known garden centre and had to take it back as it was not fit for purpose. This however, is great and does the job well!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersUsed it to break the surface of a poor lawn ready to sow a wildflower meadow mixture. Saw a similar tool used for the same purpose on Gardner’s World. It did exactly as required without too much effort and dragged out an unbelievable amount of moss. Works well in borders too to loosen weeds.
