My granddaughter loves it.... but its expensive for toy makeup
I chose this makeup kit for my granddaughter (aged 7) for Christmas. She is very happy but there’s something I want to say. There are many makeup items with lots of choices. The unicorn design is very cute, she loves it. It is easy to carry, it will be good for her to take on her little trips. The makeup is washable with no worries about any stains being left on clothes and is safe for kids, the wife checked the quality. However, it’s quite expensive for makeup toy and some items are not very durable. My granddaughter plays with this with her friends, they all like it. The unicorn design is very pretty. Also, some items break after few uses but she is still happy, and that’s important. If you want to make your kid happy and don’t mind the price, this is good gift. Just know it’s a bit expensive for what is offered and it might not be suitable for young girls to be introduced to makeup at early ages. I would not get it for my younger granddaughter who is 3.

I picked this makeup set up for my daughter..she loves anything with unicorns and wanted another makeup set for Christmas.
The box is quite generic and doesn’t do the actual product justice. Once you’ve removed the case you can appreciate just how nice it actually is. Inside the case you have a variety of makeup and accessories. Sadly most of it is wrapped needlessly in plastic. The quality isn’t bad. This is ofcourse targeted at children but it’s still reasonable.

I got this makeup kit for my daughter for Christmas since she’s turning 9 soon and likes to dress up and play with makeup.
I always ensure that the makeup kit is safe and non-toxic for little ones, and this one fits the criteria well.
It came with a selection of makeup collections like

The colour pigments in this set are quite sharp and vibrant.

Good full sized products but the reusable vanity is the winner for me
In writing this review I’ve considered my own kids’ attitudes when they received it and to unicorns in general, and on balance I think it’s a good little kit for a child aged up to c.10years, they still love unicorns (well mine do), the composition of the kit is more grown up than some other products and the case is the jewel in the crown of the set, 20cm x 14cm x 7.5cm with a double zipped closure and silver solid handle, it’s every girls dream vanity case.
The box contains the info re. country of manufacture (China), manufacture date, (18 August 2023), usable life once opened (12 months), product best before date (18 August 2025) and importantly, the ingredients of each item of make up in the box so you can look up and decide if you wish your child to use it.
I note the box lists the ingredients of mascara (which is not supplied) yet omits lip gloss (of which two are supplied), but it still provides more information than other similar products.
The case:
As stated it’s 20cmx14cmx7.5cm. The outer layer is made of a soft plastic type of material, the front and back are padded, the closure is a double zip with silver metal zip pulls and the bottom of the case has four silver metal stud feet.
Inside the case is well lined in material with a small inbuilt mirror in the lid and elasticated loops to hold brushes or lipsticks etc..
The make-up products:
A full-sized pressed face powder compact with a powder puff to apply;
Two 5cm diameter blush compacts;
A palette of six eye shadows plus applicator;
A 5cm diameter triple eye shadow compact;
Two full sized tubes of lip gloss;
Two full size lipsticks
Two bottles of nail polish;
Five full size brushes/ applicators;
A teardrop sponge (the type you’d usually use to blend in foundation);
A nail file and separator for applying polish;
Two sheets of unicorn tattoos with two pink sponges to apply them;
A retractable hairbrush; and
A length of pink/ lilac/ green clip in hair.
Every item features a unicorn and each of the palettes/ compacts opens by lifting the unicorn’s horn.
The make-up colours are both pale and brighter pink blushers and lipsticks, pink/purple/green/blue eye shadows, pink & lilac nail polish, pink and gold lip gloss.
Everything smells divine, sweet, I can’t place it, maybe a touch fruity, and all washed off easily. The nail polish didn’t smell so sweet but peeled off easily.
This is a great kit, a fabulous vanity case kids will want to repurpose, a good selection of full size products, a listing of ingredients and an expiry date.
Lovely toy make up se
This is a lovely toy make up set for a child. The case itself is of such high quality – I was really surprised when I opened the box. It can be used on its own for toys, treasures, stationery etc once the make up is used. It is lined with a leopard skin design fabric here is a full double zip around it and the base even has metal studs to protect it from being scuffed.
There is a lot of make up content inside – nail varnishes, brushes, a make up sponge, eyeshadows and so much more and all with a really cute cat theme.
It really is a lovely set. I can’t comment on the quality of the make up but that isn’t really the point of these sets – it is about the fun of a child playing about with make up.

They both love unicorns so that is an added bonus with the design motif

The little lightweight handled zip up unicorn case comes with everything needed to inspire young make up artists
All bits are individually packaged which is a bit of a plastic OTT but keeps everything separate.
There is a compact hairbrush and mirror. A powder puff for compact powder. Brushes to accompany the eyeshadows and lip gloss pallet as well as separate lip glosses. A range of blush colours.
I particularly liked the transfer tattoos that came with a sponge to damp and made application really easy.
Also that it had a lovely unicorn colour hair piece which clipped nicely into my little girls ponytail.
Very well priced for the contents of the kit. Easy to take away with you or pack up neatly.

I did not receive the item I ordered, I received something I did not want!
I thought I had received the wrong item as outer box was different to picture of item but item inside was the correct one so all good!

Delightful set which my 4 year old daughter loves. Make up is easily removable. Carry case is cute. Only negative is that the jewellery provided with it fell apart quite quickly.
Cute makeup set for my 4 year old
This was a gift for my 4 year old. She often sits with me when I do my makeup and wants to get involved. She has pretend makeup but she wants “real” makeup. So this is perfect for her. It’s so easy to take off too. Nice little set with lots of different items. I did remove the mascara and the nail polish before giving it to her. Asides from that she loves this set. I love it too because I get to keep my own makeup now.
