This is a great product. Bought it months ago for poorly manufactured double glazed sashes. Product has stuck like the proverbial to a blanket. And has not been crushed. so still makes a good seal. It’s been fitted for at least 6 months and it’s performed so well I felt compelled to write a review. It Has helped massively with draughts and helped to cut down on noise also. Highly recommended

Works exactly as described. Used it to remove squeaking in my car.

I bought this to try and block some drafts, the adhesive strip makes it easy to install and it sticks really well providing that surface has been properly prepared. Just make sure you buy the right thickness as it doesn’t squash down as much as you’d expect.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWorks perfectly, solved quite a few gaps in windows, patio doors and loft hatches in our new house that we can’t afford to fix properly right away.

But make sure you go for the right thickness. If you’re like me, and a bit of a ‘that’ll do’ type, then you’ll end up buying three different thicknesses as you didn’t .easier properly.

It doesn’t squish down that much, so you may not need as thick as you think for that gap. Go too thick, and you’ll stop your window and door closing, and then you’ll have to peel it off grimly and wait for the right size to turn up.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo we bought these for our front and back doors and we live near the airport and you can definitely tell the difference before and after also draught exclusion works keeps the cold out if there’s gaps around the doors. You can’t tell until u put the strips around it. Easy to use and if u don’t get the straight line in the first go you can pull it back and try again. We got them just around November ’22 I think and it’s March ’23 now and they’re still going strong.

we moved into a property that has horrible gaps around every window in the property and didn’t want to spend a fortune on items to fix the windows as it was not our responsibility, we bought these to see if they can help with a short term fix and has done an amazing job, the property didn’t get any cold breeze for weeks until we got hot and opened the windows which caused the short term solution to no longer work so we will be using the remaining rolls to re-do the windows. the quantity is really good

Temporary thing for two external doors with gaps you could drive a truck through.well, if it was a bit smaller. Positioned wrong at first and couldn’t close the door. Took the paint off in some places when removed (very old paint) but tape still stuck in enough places for repositioning.
For a quick fix it did the job, was easy to use, and enough there for a failure or two.

It’s been a god send honestly! Has reduced the noise from the road outside considerably. To the point where it no longer wakes me (my bed is right next to the window adjacent to the road). Also keeping the heat in and moisture at bay. I’ve reordered to do the rest of my windows in the house. Well worth the money. Its good quality foam, extremely adhesive and fits perfectly in my window frames. Highly recommend.

Stick well, but I bought for reducing noise level, I don’t think it works as I hoped.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a well made great product. Only thing is that I bought it too thick and have treal trouble closing my door. I would buy again but just a thinner version.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersEasy to fit, make sure the surface it is sticking on is clean, once stuck very hard to get off if you get it wrong, seem to work well as I’ve only had it on for a few weeks and the weather has not been cold

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersNot going to lie I know nothing about DIY but as the winter came and obviously bills are going up my energy supplier advised to check all door and window seals and if you could feel the cold then replace them. So i decided to adult and I purchased these, I didn’t clean the surface before hand or remove any of the original seals as i placed these onto the UPVC door inner frames so when the door meets the frame it gave additional insulation. I had no idea what i was doing I just felt for the air and placed these in the way. With the windows i placed these on the inside of the frame so again where the window met the frame inside and lined it all the way round. I have noticed a massive difference with the draft and a slight difference with noise from my bedroom window, its not massive but i could tell it muffled it a wee bit but its not fit for that purpose it works better against the draft.

Bought this (3mm thickness) to try to deal with a draught which blew through the front room from the front door. (Was effective at getting the fire to draw, mind)
Stickability: yes, you could hang off a precipice attached to this.
Easy to use: absolutely (although a purist might say that it’s slightly wavy – blame the stickability.). It is possible to lift and readjust if you do it immediately.
Cuts easily with ordinary scissors. I did the job in 5 minutes.
Effectiveness: 100%. No draught at all.
Only con is that the door is harder to shut with 3mm of resistance between the door and the frame, but is fine if you put your shoulder to it. We don’t use the front door much anyway. It’s made us a little more reluctant to do the same thing to the back door as we are in and out of it all the time – but if the draught was bothering us, we wouldn’t think twice. Maybe think carefully about using 6mm thick tape unless you have gaping gaps in windows and doors?
