Smells great, lathers easily, rinses easily.
The scent doesn’t linger on the skin which I find disappointing.
I have very sensitive skin but no problem with this soap.
I like the egg shape feels nice in the hand and I think I may be less likely to drop than a bar.
I’ve bought other shower soap bars which have not lasted as long as claimed and were twice as expensive as the Procoal one (so doubly poor value). This is an exceptionally good product with a subtle rose fragrance
I like the smell (we buy the rose one), the sensation on the skin with the bits that give a gentle scratch and it last a long time. We found our soap and we won’t go back. Already at the third purchase.
I initially scrubbed my body using the curved side of the egg, which was far more prickly than expected for a body exfoliator/scrub. I recommend using the flat side (it’s also easier/more comfortable to handle). If you want to try this soap, be gentle and slow because it will hurt. This isn’t preferable if you want a quick shower, but it is a great addition to pamper routines.
On the other hand, it smells great and works like a charm for scrubbing off all excess antiperspirant/deodorant, sweat, and dead skin cells. I always leave my daily hot showers smelling beautiful with soft, revitalized skin. Be mindful that this brand has another soap that is safer to use and exfoliation unnecessary – just a top-up to pampering.
I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to others because it has its own risks and flaws. I hope my advice will guide others into reaping the same benefits I had without injury. I enjoyed this product and would definitely purchase it again. For new buyers – use with care. If you dislike it, please donate or recycle it (I suppose you could melt it and sift its abrasive content out).
Conclusion; Soap made skin soft and scented at the cost of uncomfortable grazing. Not suitable for sensitive skin/areas.
Bought the Glycolic face wash, got a lovely personal message from the Vendor/producer.
Told Yousaf how much I was enjoying the soap to then be told there is a body soap with the same scent.
Bought it straight away and again it’s lovely to use.

We are converting from liquid soap, and are trying out lots of different bar soaps. My teenage daughters LOVE this soap. It smells great, is good for sensitive skin, and I think we’ll be trying out the different flavours on offer!
Amazing long lasting scent and is exfoliating enough that I accidentally scratched myself with it a few times. I have it on a subscribe and save and with daily use it lasts about four weeks.
Okay first of all I have to say that some soaps usually leave my skin dry and horrible like that really horrible texture but this is oh my God out this world one it smells gorgeous two it lavers up really well three it made my skin feel really soft and four didn’t irritate me one bit absolutely fabulous love i
The soap is, just as in the picture, an attractive egg shape. It has ‘bits’ in it similar to the old-fashioned oatmeal soap that my Nana used to use. It has a pleasant rose scent, even after some six weeks. It produces a moderate lather.
I have found this soap extremely effective. I use it with care, as with all exfoliating products, and have not suffered any ill effects as described in some reviews. My skin is dry and post-menopausal but not exceptionally fragile, and using this soap twice per week I’m seeing a definite soft, blooming effect on arms and thighs. I use it with great care on my face also.
For a hand-made, vegan soap I would rate the price as acceptable and, as I don’t use it every day, it’s lasting well.
I shall buy this product again.
I have a disability that has the effect of making my hand almost useless, I’ve never been able to keep hold of a wet bar of soap but the egg shape and indented oval seem to make it impossible to drop and I can actually wash myself with the soap. It smells divine and the natural exfoliation jobbies do a great job. For a skin, environment and user friendly product like this you should be paying much more but it is great value and it seems to potentially be very long lasting as a bar of soap and the scent of rose lingers on you for hours.
Smells lovely, scrubs nicely, and has really helped clear the skin on my chest – it wasn’t terrible but this has made it clear and smooth, where most other body products aggravate it or are too rich, even shower gels. I’d definitely recommend this.
I don’t usually buy soaps as they are drying and I’m not a fan of vegan products, but this soap lathers up really well and the gritty exfoliator is a great dupe for the more expensive Glossier bar.
Finally got around to using.
First impressions impressed the smell was lovely although I dont think it will retain smell seemed to be just concentrated on surface … The exfoliation was great. Just right balace hard enough to make a difference but not painful.
I used this on my body. Didn’t use on my face but I guess you could. Will definitely buy again.
I have a beautiful black skin and this has made my skin fresher with less blemishes, I used it everyday as part of my daily routine. My skin now looks consistent. I used the glycolic egg soap for my face too. I hope the company can make something for skin glow.
This is absolutely incredible. I normally buy a liquid form of an exfoliater but thought I would try this and so glad I did! My skin has never felt and looked more smooth and nourished! The scent is so fresh and amazing. I will 100% be sticking with this!
Love the smell of the bar , used this daily now since I bought it , skin feels so good not as dry any more after as shower gels was drying my skin , why don’t you give it a try . I love it and will continue to use this produc
This soap is wonderfully scented. A light, clean rose fragrance that is very pleasant and lasts on the skin. The formula is creamy and leathers well. The only thing I didnt like were the exfoliating particles in the soap which are scratchy rather than exfoliating. However, this is my personal preference as I prefer either a chemical exfoliator or very small exfoliating particles. I have sensitive skin and have had no issues using this soap on my body or face.

It’s the best exfoliating bar of soap I have ever used. It ‘feels’ like it has glass and bits of wire embedded in the soap! So I wouldn’t use it on the face or sensitive skin, but for rhino hide and areas of dead skin it is rather good. You definitely feel a zing whilst using and skin feels much smoother, albeit red, afterwards. Would recommend, but use it carefully until you get used to it!

I purchased two for that reason & I’m not disappointed. Prompt delivery & my skin feels amazing. I have quite sensitive skin & this product hasn’t irritated in any way.
Love that the product is cheap but good quality. There’s no point making good quality products at elitist prices when there’s more broke people than wealthy folks (if you’re overall aim is environmental sustainability). I’d admit though I was either a bit heavy handed or there was a lot of exfoliating materials in the bar, the tingly clean feeling turned out to be a series of fine cuts (hence the 4 rather than 5 stars). They’re healing but be really gentle especially if you have sensitive skin.
The best thing for me is that it’s eco friendly and soo affordable. I used to spend loads on bottles of exfoliating face wash but this is the best I’ve used to far and no plastic waste. And it lasts much longer.

This is the best soap I’ve ever used. Makes you feel really clean without drying out your skin. Smells gorgeous and leathers up really nicely like shower cream. I have very dry and itchy skin due to stretch marks and I find the exfoliating bits helps a lot and feel nice, not too much or too scratchy. Will be buying regularly.
I love the smell. Not overpowering but strong enough to feel like you are getting a good quality scent. The exfoliation is just what I was looking for, for my body. It is corse but not grainy if that make sense. I usually avoid soaps as they dry out my skin, but so far this has not. I have only been using for about 10 days but so far really pleased.
