Ansonsten macht der Filter einen super Job. Meine Frau ist Teetrinker und der Wasserkocher war stndig verkalkt. Jetzt bildet sich nach fast 6Wochen ein saudnne Schicht die man einfach mit ein PAAR Tropfen Essig auswischen kann.

It is worth getting the biggest unit you can easily fit in your cabinet space. With a bigger filter you’re going to get better water flow rate and longer life from a filter. The brass fittings are a plus, I had no problems with getting a joint without leaks. Filter changes should be quick and it’s a bonus to be able to just buy the filter without the entire housing. My only small complaint is that mounting plate for the unit should have 2 holes on the top corners. The one in the middle makes it flexy. I made my own holes to brace it better. A minor gripe though. Great product!

My overall rating goes up by 2 stars for the great customer service FRIZZLIFE provided. They did great.
But, I will still recommand anyone to place a plastic pan under the filter for the few first day after installation just in case it slow leak just like mine.

Seems to be a good quality filtration media and the 24-36month is appelling, but the slow leak from the unit is a big issue. Leak about 1-2cup per day (static pressure only). We bought a second unit and same result. Can’t understand why… Seals look to be in good shape. Bad conception, fabrication or quality control?

Der wasserfilter kam wie gewohnt schnell an. Der Einbau ist sehr einfach da alles genau beschriftet ist, und die Wasserleitungen, die zum anschlieen bentigt werden, passend mitgeliefert wurden. Der Halter reicht fr den Filter sodas man ihn super unter der sple montieren kann. Durchflusstechnisch habe ich nichts zu bemngeln, der Durchfluss ist wie vor dem Einbau.

Frizzlife SW10 Unterbau-Wasserfiltersystem installiert, dies ist wirklich sehr einfach und gut beschrieben. I was spending a fortune on having water delivered. No more – took me a while to install this, but that I could do it all is a minor miracle. I’m a retired therapist, not a plumber. Directions very easy to follow, and I actually used an adjustable wrench for the first time. Had more than a few problems with leaks, because I didn’t have things tightened down properly. Ended up with wet hair, wet clothes and a wet floor, my fault, not the fault of the product. With an adjustable wrench and a little determination you can do this!
To this moment we use Brita filter. Very good but need refill, take space on worktop, and most important cost of using ( min 70 per year ). Now cost on 18 month – 24 and no another item on worktop, filtered water stright from tap. Perfect !

We are in a place that has hard water. We used this to replace a reverse osmosis unit that leaked like a sieve. It took about 15-20 minutes of run time for the water to run clear, but the water doesn’t have that “hard” taste. We use it in our coffee pot and humidifiers also.
Installed this mainly for hydroponics, water flow is good and way faster than osmosis. This carbon filter also does NOT waste any water compared to osmosis you are wasting 1:1 if you are using the Home Master osmosis system, but other systems you are wasting on average 1:3 (for every 1 cup of osmosis you waste 3 cups down the drain!!!).
Originally I used osmosis water for hydroponics but the water flow is so slow and wastes so much water to produce, so then I tried just Tap Water with water purification liquid drops (like the ones they use for aquariums) but that leaves a lot of calcium/mineral buildup in the hydroponic containers and totes, so then I tried this Frizzlife carbon filter and it does not leave any calcium/mineral buildups, and it removes the chlorine taste so I also use it for cooking and teas and even in the humidifier it won’t leave white calcium dust around the floor like it does with tap water or even osmosis (the Home Master osmosis actually puts back some of the minerals that’s why).
Have had it for 8 months and it’s still working great even though it’s gone through many many gallons weekly for the hydroponics and cooking. It is fairly large-ish so just make sure you have enough room to install it but once installed, it should be easy to replace filters since you just twist it off.
It was easy to install the unit. I only had to replace the screws because they were too long for the cabinet side I was mounting it to. Otherwise it was pretty easy
Used 3m filtrete before this and I was nervous after some reviews I read on here. Switched to this due to leaking from 3m filter because of cheap compression water tubing or whatever it’s called. Installed this flitter, followed directions down to a T.. ran water for 15 minutes and even used the supply plumbers tape.
No leaks, water taste as good as our old 3m filter which was very good. We have hard water and this filter isn’t advertised for hard water however it’s made a huge improvement no more juggling around 5 gallon water jugs.
Arizona hard water here!! This filter makes a huge difference, thank you. I’m happy I purchased this filter.
This product is well made. The water quality is better immediately following the recommended 15 minutes flush through. It’s pretty straight forward to install.
Although it reduces the cold water flow rate, I appreciate though that this is due to the water having to pass through the filter and the benefits far out way this small change.
I will definitely recommend it.
