Wer billig kauft, kauft halt fters.

Am a big fan of Gardena outdoor gear and gardening products and these are very decent quality gloves which are great for general planting.ground gloves and potting up etc. they;re comfortable but protective and a nice fit so would recommend.

These gloves are first ones probably that actually fit and there’s no slack in the fingers. They are really well made and look the part as well – turquoise colour is really lovely and bright enough if you are like me and keep losing things all the time.

Although lightweight these gloves are well made and feel quite sturdy. So far I’ve been laying and carrying turf in the them and not only do they fit nicely but have brilliant grip which is really important and the palm rubber side doesn’t crack after washing.

They might be a tad more expensive than what I would usually pay but because of the durability and good fit I think they are worth it. Spend a bit more but get quality.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSize 8 in these fit my small hands particularly well. They’re as comfortable and flexible as thin cotton gloves. They make a perfect compromise between lightweight gloves that offer little protection against thorns, and thick, heavy leather gloves. Things like rose thorns penetrate, if I’m not careful, but they’re effective against most other punishment. Water penetration is minimal.

Ability to operate a touch screen with them is a bonus, although whether I want to use my phone with gardening gloves is another matter. Doing so requires firm prods and of course reasonably clean gloves.

There’s reinforcement in all the right places, so they seem likely to survive a good few gardening sessions. At 8.99 per pair, these are my new favourite gardening gloves for general use.

These have a fabric top surface and a rubberised bottom. They sort of work against brambles- but not thistles. They seem to be made of the stuff that the wild mice like chewing, so I’ll have to be careful. Medium gloves fitted my small girlie hands.

These are good, light duty, waterproof gardening gloves — suitable for weeding, and plant handling, plus general light duty jobs where you don’t want to get your hands mucky, but no use for heavier duty jobs such as weeding out brambles or cutting back hawthorn and blackthorn. The gloves have woven fabric backs and a rubbery-feeling coating on the palm sides. There are additional, thicker, red dots of grip material on the index finger and thumbs. I received these to review in a medium size, and these are a good fit for myself and my Mum, but too small for either my Dad or my husband — finger length is only just right for me (and I’m 5’5″).

Decent gloves to use for gardening. They are a little pricey for what they are, they are very similar to basic DIY shop gardening gloves that are a few pounds cheaper.
The main difference with these is that they have touch screen fingers which I didn’t find very useful once I’d started gardening as the fingers got dirty and I didn’t want to get the phone dirty and also the touch screen stopped working when the gloves got dirty.
They are only waterproof resistant on the palms and under fingers so once you get stuck in the backs of the hands get wet and they aren’t protected from stingers or any scratchy weeds.

The gloves arrived safely, and they come attached to a well-illustrated retail hanging card. The gloves are made from 55% Nitrile, 42% Polyester, 3% Elasthane, and they made in China.

I went with the medium size as this is my usual and I’m pleased to say they fit perfectly so I made the right choice.

These gloves arrived at the perfect time as I’m just in the middle of digging a small trench behind my shed and they performed great. There not too thick so you still have plenty of movement, and you can be precise if you need to pick something small up. They have a very grippy texture on the palms which makes using tools a pleasure, and soft cloth on the other side to keep your hands from sweating.

The index fingers and thumbs have dimples on them so you can use your smartphone while wearing them, but even the fingers without the dimples still work perfectly fine with my Galaxy S20+ which is great. If they get dirty, the gloves can be hand washed in warm water and then air dried.

Overall, for anything soil related I think these gloves are perfect and not only are they excellent quality, but they feel nice to wear and seem to be very durable if you use them for their intended purpose. I’m a big fan of Gardena products and these gloves tick all the right boxes, an easy recommendation for me and I feel they are worth the full five stars!

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect gloves for planting or anything to do with soil!

    Buon prodotto e ben fatto.

Wanted some lighter gardening gloves so these looked perfect but as others have mentioned the fit is quite small, especially on the thumb for some reason. I’ve passed these on to my wife as they’re good gloves but a bit snug for me.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOoh, Duncurin goes through a lot of gloves. I volunteer to help keep the local church grounds tidy and this has involved taking on a wide variety of skills such as weeding, repairing and refitting edging stones, rebuilding fences, planting and of course not forgetting the weeding. Enter these fabulous gloves from Gardena which Duncurin has been putting through their paces.
They look fabulous with the two-tone blue and black colour-way. Although my hands are small, these gloves are medium but they fit perfectly and also feel comfortable at all times.
I like the material which is soft, resilient and of course, most vitally, also protects one’s hands.
I also like the elasticated wrist support which means that when your hands are deep in the compost or other material then your hands are not subject to leakage coming in around some gap appearing at the wrist which then promptly falls into your gloves.
Protection is on the whole very good and it does not come at the expense of a poor grip or loss of sensation not inability to use finer tools such as fine clippers. I see that they also have etched areas so that one can text and use a touch screen without taking the gloves off though sadly my phone’s fingerprint reader was unimpressed.
Please note ferocious brambles and barbed wire, sadly very prevalent in the church grounds, will defeat the gloves and when dealing with these I have to use really tough leather gloves almost like gauntlets. Of course, these are really hard work for your hands and do not give you the option of carrying out finer tasks like planting, whilst these gloves, I feel, will allow for nearly all of the tasks that one might ask of them. The gloves also allow your hands to breathe and though there is some protection against damp, they won’t say give your hands protection in really wet conditions like say a pair of rubber gloves will. When it’s really wet, I often double glove using disposable nitrile gloves under my gardening gloves but this causes a ferocious amount of sweating of one’s hands which can be very irritating. Once again, these gloves are a good compromise between damp protection and breathability.
In conclusion, then, Duncurin was very impressed with these gloves and I managed to get a lot of planting, watering and weeding done. My hands were clean, protected and not dripping in sweat as I took them off. I see that the gloves are also washable. Please see a pic of me planting in one of the raised beds. Many thanks.

These gloves are sturdy and look well made; I do a lot of gardening and don’t expect gloves to last all that long, but these should certainly do two or three years. They are perhaps a slightly tight fit. The forefingers and thumbs have a strange pattern of plastic studs. I couldn’t think why until I read the packaging and found they were to enable you to use your mobile without taking them off! Now what idiot would handle a mobile while wearing muddy gardening gloves?
