I’ve been really impressed with this Gorilla Super Glue. I originally bought it for a quick fix, but it’s turned into one of those essentials I keep reaching for.
So far, I’ve used it to glue the sole back onto a pair of trainers, and it’s held up brilliantly even with regular use. I’ve also used it around the house to stick down some loose scotia beads covering the joints in my timber flooring, and it bonded them securely in no time.
What stands out most is how fast it cures — you barely have to hold things in place for long before it sets. It’s also reasonably priced compared to other options, and a little goes a long way, so the 15g tube actually lasts quite a while. It’s also odour free, which makes it much nicer to use indoors. The anti-clog cap is a nice touch too, as it keeps the glue usable between jobs.
Overall, a reliable, no-fuss adhesive that does exactly what it promises. Definitely worth having in your toolkit.
Summary:
– Comes in a 15g tube
– Fast curing and strong bond
– Odour free and easy to use indoors
– Anti-clog cap keeps it usable longer
– Great for multiple materials (trainers, wood trim, and more)
– Good value and long-lasting
I bought Gorilla Super Glue (15g) for 4.79 and it’s been quite useful for small fixes around the house. It sets very quickly, usually within under a minute, so you don’t get much time to adjust things. The bond feels strong, even on metal and ceramic.
The anti-clog cap is actually handy because it hasn’t dried out on me yet. You only need a tiny amount, otherwise it can get messy or fail to stick properly. Overall, it’s a decent everyday super glue if you need something quick and strong.
Decent enough super glue
Does what you expect but annoyingly large bottle which loses a star. I think it’s to do with leaving an air gap which helps preserve the glue?
No idea but can’t help feeling receiving a half empty bottle definitely feels off
But like I said the glue holds well and pours controlled.
Decent value
Gorilla Super Glue has become a staple in my toolbox, and the 15g size is ideal for general household repairs and DIY jobs. It really lives up to its reputation as a strong, all-purpose adhesive. I’ve used it on metal, ceramic, plastic, and even leather, and the results have been consistently reliable.
The fast setting time is a major plus — it bonds within seconds, so there’s no long waiting period. It dries clear, which is helpful for more visible fixes, and the bond strength holds up well even under light stress or movement.
One thing that really stands out is the anti-clog cap. It seals tightly and actually works, preventing the nozzle from drying out between uses. I’ve had so many glues become unusable after one or two applications, but this one lasts, making it much more cost-effective over time.
The impact-tough formula is noticeable too. Unlike some other super glues that go brittle and crack, this one has a bit of give, which helps it withstand minor drops or pressure. The 15g bottle also offers good value for money since a little goes a long way, and you don’t lose half the product to clogs or evaporation.
Overall, this glue is dependable, easy to use, and suitable for a wide range of materials. Whether you’re repairing a broken mug or fixing a shoe sole, Gorilla Super Glue gets the job done quickly and securely.
Easy to use and great strength
Gorilla glue is by far the best product I’ve used for fixing cracked items and broken things it is applied very easy with the bottle and it hasn’t got blocked at the ends after numerous uses and the glue hasn’t dried up in the bottle like some other super glue brands all round great produc
Excellent glue
Having tried many so-called Super glues in the past, Gorilla is undoubtedly the best. Easy to use with an applicator that delivers the perfect amount of glue (not too little, not too much), it also bonds extremely quickly- within 30 seconds. I used it to glue a metal badge which had been torn off a puffer jacket and I was amazed at how it worked on the two different materials. I cannot recommend this product enough. 5
Good superglue but...
Good superglue but a little expensive especially when the bottle is not even half full so a little disappointed but was very fast drying and seems to have done the trick.
Have used the Gorilla Super Glue 6 or 7 times so far and very pleased with how strong it is. Works well at sticking soles of shoes that have come away, as well as repairing a broken trophy. Glue has not solidified in tube like I have found with some other glues, so delighted with that.
I needed some glue for 1 small job. This appears to have done the job perfectly, using only a small amount of glue for what I needed. The 1 downside is that it’s quite expensive for the size of bottle/amount of glue you get, but then again from my 1 experience you don’t need to use very much of it to do the “everyday” jobs.
Best glue
Love gorilla glue, does what it says on the packet. Used this to repair sole on hubbys golf shoes, still stuck after all the golf he’s played on wet courses this year. Even used it for my Dads dentures, Great stuff.
It does what it says
This in my mind is the best glue out there, sure it’s expensive compared to other glues. But for strength and easiness of use then you won’t go wrong. It will stick wood, metal, concrete, rubber, most plastics, and more.
Strong
Used this on Audi sliding storage compartment
Feels solid after applying a couple of drops.
Also glued plastic to metal on my fly swater that came apart. Seems to be holding up
I’d recommend
Not sure was full bottle
Not sure the right amount was in bottle as visibly less than ones bought from national hardware store but luckily only needed small amount for the job intended. Sticks like a dream
I’ve tried cheaper versions of super glue in the past, whilst they work reasonably, I always seem to end up binning the container after the first use as the tube seals up.
I like the design of Gorilla glue, turn it over and give it a tap to get the glue into the tube, back the right way up and another tap to clear the glue. It’s easy to apply and not too thin.
I’ve used this on a number of sails to insert plastic guides where the sheet runs through webbing. It has held well in all conditions, including rain and sand exposure.
At 5 I think this is better value than cheaper super glue options as have found it can be repeatedly used rather than having to be discarded after opening.
This is the first time i’ve used this super glue and at first thought it wasn’t very good.I was gluing some plastic and the the pieces just didn’t seem to bond very well at first.I left it for a while and yeah,it bonds extremely well.I’ve just used it on two bits of wood that takes abit of strain and has worked brilliantly.
Super Lijm
