Does the job
Perfect did the job on my kitchen drawers, just had to press a lot and stay on it for a bit also once it dries up the white glue becomes invisible
If you need your wood fixed so it can be erect and stiff, this will do the job. My wood wouldn’t stay up, it was really disappointing. The bedroom wasn’t great as a result. But, I put this on the wood, and know the wood is strong and hard enough to put back in the gap.. Perfect!!
The quality of this glue is brilliant. I bought this to fix several draws in some chest of draws. I have tried other wood glues but the bottom and sides just kept coming apart. No chance with this. Stuck solid. It is a thick glue, white in colour but once it dries it became transparent. I should have just bought this first. Just like many chest if draws the bottom of the draws are plywood and the rest of the draw is solid wood. Its really easy to use as it has a stay clean cap which you twist so the cap comes up to open, it also helps direct the glue to exactly where you want it, then twist back to lock. I would definitely buy again once I run out, I don’t think I would even consider another brand and I have recommended it already.
After deciding to experience with some wood work, realizing I needed dwells and some glue to make anything aesthetically pleasing, I picked up Gorilla glue as I know the brand is usually pretty good. (Having used other gorilla products)
So I’ve made a rough shelve in the shed, only really intended on it holding spare blades/screw driver bits, no real weight I’d of been happy if it held up for a week before joints became sloppy, I primarily did it to see if i can “do” wood work, it looks like a rough school project.
But, that was 6 months ago & it currently has 4 paint tins sitting on it & a hammer hanging off it, tugging on the shelf the whole shed shakes, safe to say this glue has done its job exceptionally well.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sticks really well and easy to clean!
After years of picking bits of PVA glue out of gluey nozzles, the spade-dispenser on this bottle is a revelation. Any excess just peels off and the glue always seems to keep coming.
Sticks wood really well too.
5.0 out of 5 stars Handy size
Great for your toolbox. Works really well on any wooden project.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good solid fix.
Very easy to use. Sets to make a very strong repair.
Recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Glue
Perfect! Managed to stick the front panel of my door back together with ease (with the assistance of a couple of clamps) it’s done a great job! Just be sure to wipe the excess off before it dries as it really does set solid!
5.0 out of 5 stars Works wonders!
This glue has stuff my drawer front on with no bother. It works well.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice that the nozzle stayed clear after use.
I used this product for glueing a wooden (obviously) frame together. What I love about it apart from its gluing power is the white glue turns grey after drying.
5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful wood glue
Used this to glue legs of kitchen chairs that kept falling off. It dried rapidly and so far, no further problems with chairs breaking. It has a self seal nozzle that stops the remaining glue in the tube from drying up too quickly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excelle
Broke a banister spindle which are unavailable to replace, glued together perfectly, does take awhile to cure but worked great.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works well inside but no good outdoors
Good product for fixing inside wood. Good value. Unfortunately didn’t work outside.
I ordered this and then realised it wouldn’t be suitable for the job I was doing. Requested a refund and seller said we have refunded and no need to return. I thought that was exceptionally good customer care so wanted to review that. Also my friend used the product and it’s fab
4.0 out of 5 stars Should have cover on outle
Good adhesion. Fine product for the price. Clever dispenser method but still needs a cap over it as it is too easy for leakage.
Had a dining room chair that had come to grief, as it is part of a set didn’t want to throw the chair away so thought ‘wood glue’, this came up in my search, I have never used Gorilla products before but they seem to have good reviews, now I know why, cleaned the chair up and applied as instructed, I left it the specified time but wasn’t sure, went back after an hour, perfect! So easy to use and saved my chair, highly recommend (worked on a youngsters money box too, wood and hardboard)
4.0 out of 5 stars Good glue
This is good wood glue, but the applicator is not great. It’s fine if you have a clear, flat surface to apply the glue on to but I needed to squeeze it into a small gap to fix a loose dowel. I squeezed some glue into a bowl and used a brush instead.
4.0 out of 5 stars Never had much faith. With glue.
Over the years I have not had much luck with glues..Came to believe that once broke that was it.Always messy with variable results. However on this occassion I had a wooden cabinet with a black gloss finish that was coming apart. After a a bit of research I opted for this glue. I also purchases some new dowels. After applying the glue it was difficult to keep the 2 surfaces together but managed to add somge weights.Overnight the glue had set.Be careful not to get glue on hands and clean up straight away.
Would be unfair if I did not update my review. As mentioned in the final few words I researched. On Youtube it states that if the room temperature is not warm enough then the glue will NOT be easily dispensed. I found this to be the case. Drawer fixed with some difficulty due to this. Just received this glue and was eager to fix a wooden draw. a) I find that there is not a constant flow of glue. Glue is dispensed in fits and starts! Really annoyed. b) I have had to shake the container constantly in order to get some glue out. c) Totally unsuitable for older people with pains in finger joints just like yours truly. Squeezing the bottle constantly is not what I expected having read the reviews. I have increased the pains in both hands.
What am I doing wrong?? I have read the instructions over and over. Really disappointed. Could be that the glue is too cold! Just watched a youtube video.
