LOVE THIS THING. it satisfies kids’ desire to be amplified, but it doesn’t drive everyone else in the house crazy. no batteries is a win. it’s super sturdy since it’s basically just springs inside echoing. it’s been dropped and tossed around with no problems. the one change i would have made is for the “button” to actually work like a button. also, because it’s hape, i know it’s quality and non-toxic, so i don’t worry about the kids putting their mouths on it to yell into it, etc…
I purchased this for the music & movement classes I teach. It’s been a hit. Because of the nature of the toy, it has “holes” in the top, so I do hope I can continue properly cleaning/disinfecting it since different kids/classes use it. Also, I will say the quality is excellent. It may not have the *boom* of similar mics I had as a kid, but the quality is much better than those.
Bought this microphone for my 8 month old son. He loves hearing the echo when being spoken into or making general noises into it but also enjoys banging the microphone to hear it vibrating
Bought this for my toddler who loved using my karaoke mic. To help him continue being vocal this worked out great. It makes his voice louder but not overly loud like a real mic. Removed a star for how close toddlers mouth has to be from opening for it to work. Build up of saliva can also be a downside as it’s not easily openable.
We bought one of theses a while ago and used it for holidays when the kids were little. However, we found that we were still using it years later at family gatherings, holidays and parties. Rules are simple. If you want to say anything at the dinner table you need to speak into the echo mike. This is a replacement for our older model. A voir sur la dure pour sa solidit car a reste du plastique. D’ailleurs je crois qu’il y a marqu avec bois mais c’est plus pour surfer sur la vague montessorie car y’a juste 2 pauvres bouts de bois, cela reste juste un jouet en plastique.
Very disappointed, it was a birthday present for a toddler,wouldn’t work at all. Waste of money. Could not return as I was not able to do the returns label.
Really fun children’s microphone with an echo. It doesn’t take batteries which is a nice change for a child’s noisy toy! It makes a fun echo sound and can withstand a bit of rough play so is well made. Overall a good purchase.
