Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis HDMI switch works very well. My friend set it up and connected a media player and a Chromecast. So far the remote switches between the two seamlessly. It goes the job intended without an fuss and bother. Just what a tech novice like myself needs.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s a great hdmi switch using it with my Sony av amp and harmony remote. By linking the switch between 3 of my input devices and the av amp the harmony remote can now flawless switch between 5 input devices 2 directly attached and 3 via the switch

Arrived on time and does the job. Easy to set up, just plug in the devices. I’ve three games consoles and didn’t have enough hdmi sockets on my tv. I didn’t need to use a power lead, as the hdmi cable sorts that, so it’s super easy to use.

I have three computer sources, home computer and two laptops (for work) and I have three monitors.
I wanted a way to selectively switch between all sources, enabling 1, 2 or 3 for each device, so I bought three of these and haven’t been disappointed. I’ve mounted them below a monitor shelf that houses each of the monitors and they all perform EXACTLY as I wanted them to.
They have an indicator for which source is active and also automatically switch to a new source when it’s switched on.
I only have one tiny (and I mean minuscule) grumble and that is the red power light. I know there’s power because there’s a green light. The red light is illuminated even when the units are not externally powered (as mine are) so are unnecessary in my opinion and they’re pretty bright! I’ve covered mine with a small bit of black tape.
I have no need for the remote so I can’t comment. But if you have a setup like mine I heartily recommend.

This HDMI splitter was bought so that I could add my Nintendo Switch to my TV system. All of my HDMI ports were full so I needed another solution.

This splitter arrived in a fairly simple package and was set up in a few seconds. the great thing is that it automatically switches HDMI ports so I really don’t need to do anything. I simply set it up and then left it alone.

The splitter can run without any power, but I have connected mine to a power supply using the included USB-C lead. The remote control is basic but works and doesn’t need to be anything more than basic. I haven’t used it very much as everything works how I need it to automatically.

I would recommend this HDMI splitter for anyone that needs to add more devices than they have ports for. It is good value for money and does exactly what it is supposed to do without any fuss.

Works great, zero issues with it. Since I dusted off my PS4 and tried to use that, it does glitch out when trying to display the PS4 a lot of the time, but I think that’s an issue with the PS rather than the switch because it doesn’t do it with my PC, or Xbox, or Nintendo. I haven’t tried it with other cables but I’ve got 2 HDMI-ins on my monitor so I’ve just been using that for now. It’s on my desk so I’ve not used the remote control at a distance, but I’ve not had any issues with it. Great little bit of kit, especially given that it’s so cheap compared to others.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWas nice and light and easy to ensemble. Did not realise I did not come with a HDMI lead luckily I had one to use. Son is very happy he can now switch with his ps4 and projector with a click of the remote.

Helped me solve the problem my previous switch had which was my old switch would cause my high res display to constantly refresh. this new switch fixed that.
Lovely kit. Would recommend. Remote not the best as it needs a straight line to work but it does what its supposed to do. Also u do not have to use the remote as it has a manual input change switch.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI use this with my Mac Studio and Xbox series x.
Both work well, no drop out of hdmi signal.
Tried others but this is the only one that worked for me

Very easy set up and it works perfectly, I found the USB power cable was not needed, the unit itself is made of metal and seems robust and very easy to use, I was thinking of buying a more expensive one but at 11 you can’t go wrong, highly recommend

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLike others have found, switching between like resolution sources, 4K for example, and its faultless. It doesn’t seem to like switching from 4K to 1080p sources – I tried several TV’s other than the one the device was intended for. Ended up sticking 2 x 4k sources in the device then into TV’s HDMI1 and the 1080p source into TV’s HDMI2 directly, lucky I had 2 ports – It does give me the 3 sources into 2 HDMI’s on TV that I was after, just not how I was expecting.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have had this hdmi switch for 1 month now. It works really well. IR remote not the best, only works if you point directly at the switch (but can’t have everything for the low price). Problem I have is the button on the front of the switch just stopped working this morning. I did not have the remote at hand so pushed the button to switch from screen 1 to screen 3. It went from 1 to 2 but the button failed after that. It’s probably only the 3rd or 4th time the button had ever been pushed. So now I can only operate the switch with the remote. a bit disappointing.
UPDATED – 09/03/2023 – Shortly after my 2 Star review, the suppilers customer service team reached out and offered to send a replacement. Once this arrived I have given it another test. I have not had the issue with the button failing again which is great, so the switch is working as it should.

With all that said, I am going to increase the rating to 4 stars. The reason for this is, at time of writing this review, the switch costs 11.99 for a 3 way, upto 4K hdmi switch with a remote and great customer service. I cant give it 3 stars. Yes its thin plastic, yes I see others have had the same issues and there are other limitations but its combining everything it does do and the customer service it has to be 4 stars.

Remote reflects the price and the auto change doesn’t work completely. However good enough for the price.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI needed a HDMI switch that could connect my PS5, Chromecast and Nintendo Switch. My TV didn’t have enough ports that could handle 4k 60hz with HDR (only had 2).

Set it up, it looks nice and seems well made, the PS5 and Chromecast work perfectly, however, when I switch to my Switch, it doesnt pick it up automatically. I have to either turn the tv off and on (then the signal appears) or go to another HDMI slot on the TV and back. This is frustrating really.

I tried a different HDMI lead, tried powering the HDMI Switch, changed as many settings as I could but yeah, nothing fixed it. I assumed it just doesn’t like going from a 4k hdr resolution to the switch at 1080p and needs a manual reset (tv off or on etc.) to show it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a very simple device to set up. You simply plug an output HDMI cable into your TV/monitor, and plug up to three input HDMI cables into your devices. There is also a USB power connector, which you can just plug into the TV you’re using this with.

Operation is similarly simple. It has a physical button on the device which cycles between the three inputs, in addition to a remote which seems effective enough so long as the front of the device is facing you.

I haven’t experienced any issues with the devices I’ve used, and for both gaming and office functions it works well. If you’re looking for a cheap way to expand the number of devices you can have plugged into your TV at any one time, this just might be your huckleberry.

Very good works well some problems with control not working at certain angles from distance but does what it says on the tin. Greatly needed by myself and I can reccommended this item. Most people will be closer to this device when operating so you won’t have this issue most likely. 4 stars.

Nice looking little box, takes 3 extra devices to play on your tv. Plug and play and easy to use. Unfortunately for me the one device I wanted to use it for is one of those who are picky about being used on splitters so I can’t use it downstairs however I did test it out on the less picky devices and it did work perfectly on those so is being used on an upstairs tv later.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis is not the first HDMI switch I have purchased, but it is certainly one of the best. All our TV’s in the house have various devices attached to them, and we never have enough slots at the back of the TV to plug them all in.
This unit comes with three input slots, DVD, Satellite box, mini TV box etc., and one output to connect to the TV. A remote control included, which is a bonus, swapping between devices without having to get up and press a switch. However best of all is the clear, stable, uninterrupted picture quality on all our devices when using this switch.
So easy to install, and use immediately; plug in to TV and devices, switch on, and use the remote to find the device I want to use; the indicator lights on front show channels 1, 2 or 3. The remote comes with a battery, which could be replaced.
Great value, we thought, and produces just as good picture quality as a device plug directly into the TV.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great signal, no interference
