Purchased the 1m “rhinocables HDMI to DVI-D 24+1 Pin” to connect monitor (DVI) to work laptop (HDMI). Currently using everyday to connect/disconnect laptop to screen. Works fine and feels good quality. Head/Plug of the cable feels very durable and strong. Good price for 5.99, would recommmend.
Needed this in order to connect my (not very expensive) laptop to my (quite old and definitely not expensive) second screen and it did the job.
I use it to connect a laptop to an old monitor for productivity. So far no connectivity issues or picture quality loss. Works as intended.
Modern laptops only appear to have an HDMI output to an external monitor. Older monitors usually have VGA and DVI inputs. This cable has enabled me to successfully connect the two together.
Used to connect laptop HDMI port to older monitor that has no HDMI port. Works well.

Picture quality is very good and very stable

It is a quality cable made with quality components. I feel that this cable will last me a lifetime. It is everything as shown in the images accompanying the product description. For two weeks, I have been using it to connect my laptop to my monitor and the image quality on my monitor is as good it is on my laptop’s built-in monitor. This HDMI to DVI cable works perfectly straight out of the box (well, bag). The gold plated connectors provide a good stable connection and flawless picture quality. The cable itself isn’t very thick, thinner than some monitor cables but still gives good performance. I’m using it to connect a CCTV base unit to an old computer monitor and the setup works really well, I’m very pleased with this cable. It saves a lot of extra clutter under the TV. The DVI plug is a 24 pin type, rather than the 18 pin type. This is a top quality cable from a UK based company specialising in cables and connectors.
