Not just for kids! I bought this for my mum and she loves it. It’s great quality, easy to use and powerful. It flips and spins which are great little quirks too. I was pleasantly surprised by this little drone that packs a punch for the price!

We bought this birthday gift for 6yr old Ukrainian guest. He loved it! Parents dismayed that it proved to be his firm favourite but delighted he has so much fun inside and out.

This is a nice little drone that needs quick assembly when you receive it and charging too; once done then you are ready to fly. You get a QR code with instructions on how to fly it and all the modes etc that you will need to know. This is a good quality nice little drone, great for kids or entry level. For the price 29.99 I’d buy one for myself or even to gift.

Ordered this as a great little starter for a 4year old (to be doing it with his grandad) as the box states that this is suitable for aged 14+. He loves it, nifty little thing which to be fair is simple and easy to control. Due to the cost being inexpensive it was worth getting as I felt that if it got damaged then at least it wasn’t an expensive one.

The hand held remote control has a little square in the centre of it for you to store the drone with the remote making it easy to store when not in use!

For the current price of 17.84 (after discount) I would recommend getting this to try out especially if it’s your first time getting used to flying a drone!

    Easy to fly drone

Great little drone for first timers, kids or just practicing
It is really easy to fly and has great instructions on how to use it.
It is very durable and has survived quite a few crashes indoors.
Battery lasts about 10 mins of flying before needing to be charged.

I am super happy with this mini drone. When it arrives the drone is in the middle of the control. It took me a while to figure that out. . You can add the bumpers which I did as I didn’t want to break it and have never used one. You have to put AAA batteries in the control for that to work. And you get a lead to charge the battery that comes with the drone that you can charge with a universal USB charger. It’s pretty simple to use just follow the instructions which are provided. Firstly you have to pair it then off you go. You can do stunts with just one button it’s really cool. It has blue and white flashing lights at the front and a light for direction if your in the dark. It has a trim feature so you can set it to stay in one spot. So if you did crash it and it wonders left or right it will rebalanced itself. Also don’t worry if you do crash it as it comes woth a spare set of bldes and a mini screwdriver to open the device. You can also scan the qr code for a mini video tutorial which I thought was handy.
It was so easy to learn how to use and is so much fun. Overall I’m so happy with this and you really cannot go wrong with the price eithe

I originally got this for my 4yr old nephew but it is not suitable. I gave to my 13yr old instead who absolutely loves it. Easy to put together, it comes with spare propellers, screwdriver, battery and charger as well as instructions. It takes some time to learn to fly and manoeuvre however practice makes perfect. You can control speed and height, it can travel far distances so it can be hard to see as it’s small. If it drops don’t touch propellers as it can nip your fingers. This makes a great toy for older kids and adults. Exceptional value for money.

This isn’t a 200 drone on the cheap, but it is a good micro drone and is great for inside use by children. Much more stable than other cheap drones I have used, but still with a fair amount of drift.

Well worth considering, and suitable for fairly young children.

This is a good little drone for the price tag really, Tt comes with a pack of spare blades and bumpers that i recommend using to start with, This thing is tiny but also very fast even on the slowest speed, charging doesn’t take long and is charged via USB but you will only get around 10 mins of flight time with it , all the videos i saw showed it been able to be charged via the remote box as well but mine had no charge lead in the storage compartment so I have no idea if they changed the specs slightly, I t does have auto take off etc and flips,Overall its a good bit of fun and cheap 🙂 .

I have had a more expensive Holy Stone drone in the past, so was looking forward to testing this cheaper model out.
Obviously it is mini as it says in the description, which is good, as with the bigger and more expensive drones, they can be heavy to carry around.
It arrived well packaged and the box it came in looked nice.
Is easy enough to put together, especially as it is aimed at kids, the instructions are easy enough to follow also.
It is really cool, as the drone is stored in the controller, so this helps before setting up as you can keep both together.
I found this much easy to set up than the other Holy Stone Drone model I owned, as it wasn’t aimed at beginners but this one is.
It hovers great, flies great too and lands good, no issues and as it is much cheaper, you are not as worried when trying things. The controller is easy to use and works alongside the drone with no issues.
Great gift for kids but I would always personally supervise younger kids with a device such as this.
Overall I am happy with this.

Great fun for all the family. Takes a while to get used to the controls, I recommend using the protective guards to start off as there will be a lot of crashing while working out how to control the drone. Battery doesn’t last long but does charge quickly ready for another play. It would be useful if you got two batteries with it or if you were able to purchase another one for it. Good fun for all, even my 4 year old got the hang of flying it after a while

This little drone comes well presented in a sealed box and includes everything needed to get it airborne. Pop the battery on charge via the included USB cable and by the time you’ve read the instructions and competed the simple assembly it should be ready to go. It takes a little while to get acquainted with the controlled and what each button does but it’s very beginner friendly.

I have a DJI Mavic drone for aerial photography and videography but sometimes I just want to play and this fits the bill nicely. It’s easily flown indoors and has propellor guards to protect the blades but more importantly to protect people or expensive furniture and how decor. It had some great features including rolls and fast spins. A great little starter drone or, if you’re like me, just to have a bit of fun.

Arrived well packaged and with fast delivery a mini drone, for my son which is a beginner with drones.
It was easy to set up, we followed the instructions attached.
Comes with a remote control, one battery and USB charger.
It is fast and make lots of flips and spins.
    Would make a nice gift.
    I would highly recommend it.

Smart little drone perfect beginners drone. Take a minute to learn how to control the drone. A steady hand is needed. There are 3 speeds so this helps with practice. It’s quite fast in top speed. Family have all had a go it goes a fair height. Would definitely recommend for beginners and childre

A really cool piece of kit which is within most people’s budgets at only 29.99. My 10 year old son loves it. He put it together himself and figured out the controls and steering without any help. The drone packs away inside the control for safe keeping and storage. Hovers well and flies in accordance with the controls (I mean it flies as instructed and doesn’t lurch away or take off at speed). Would make a great birthday or Christmas present. Obviously doesn’t come with a camera but you can’t have it all at this price.

I remember when drones are intricate machines that cost hundreds of pounds and the controls, yes, the controls were intricate and required hours of training to handle properly. Failing that, you need drones that had stabilisers which would cost thousands of pounds.
And now we have this, a 29.99 drone that is easy to control and is aimed at 8+ kids with no experience. By and large, this drone works well, the controls are simple but you don’t get the intricate control that controls the speed, every level seems like it’s moving at a similar speed but at 29.99 I’m really splitting hairs and it doesn’t take away the fun from flying drones around. Be rest assured that the propellers are guarded and soft but I would recommend some sort of training before you whizz it around the house. More probably for the 10+ kids in the house and 8+ in the park.
Great drone, great fun and great value.

The Holy Stone HS190 Mini Drone for Kids comes packed in a branded cardboard box.
There is a controller, inside which you will find this mini drone! It is so small, it fits inside a controller( with its arms folded ).
It is in fact the smallest drone I have ever flown.
The drone operates using a proprietary battery(which needs to be charged using the cable provided ).
The controller requires a set of 4x AA batteries( not included ) – they are in two separate compartments on each side of the controller.
It is designed that way, as there is not much space left in the middle of the controller( where the drone is being stored ) so probably for even weight distribution, they are divided this way.

I like the simplicity of the drone and the fact it does not require a phone to fly.
The drone has 3 speeds, on the highest settings it flies really fast.
There are buttons for take-off and landing on the controller.
It’s fun to fly and the propeller protectors work well.
Easy to operate, and good as a learning drone for children.
Made by a brand known for making quality entry-level drones.

The drone’s propeller guards can’t be stored inside the controller, so if you planning on taking the drone with you, you have to remember to take them with you separately.
The charging cable has a small docking station to charge up the battery – so it limits charging options. You can charge the battery only using this cable.
There is only one battery included( it lasts for about 10min. flights).
There is no option to buy additional batteries( I searched on Amazon, online, and on Holy Stone website ).
Outdoors you can fly only when there is no wind at all. Due to its very low weight – it does not cope with the wind well.

Overall, great little toy, with some minor flaws. Good for the price, and delivers a lot of fun for kids.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for indoor use.

This is a good mini drone that I ordered for me and my son. It is easy to use and we enjoyed playing with it though it requires practice.

The drone comes with a battery and the remote control requires 4 AAA batteries. It is a good drone for beginners or just for people who want to have fun.

It is super fun to play with and high quality as it has been hit and beaten a couple times and still works fine.

I recommend it for the price.

******After my initial review the company reached out and couldn’t be more helpful! Offered me an updated version with camera and a refund. They were very quick to respond and I was taken a back at how much they wanted to please the customer. I’m very impressed with this service. Sometimes things arnt as we would expect but for the company to go above and beyond that’s amazing. I will update new drone review when it arrives

This is ok for kids but there’s no camera so not really a drone. More a flying object. My daughter like flying it and it’s easy to set up but you have to buy batteries. I purchased my son an actual mini drone for same price that’s rechargeable and has an app to use phone as a camera screen. That I’m comparing to this is far superior as a drone. This would suit a very young child who just wants to fly things

Hi, it’s a good little drone that easy to set up and fly with, it flies up and down really well, but moves a little when hovering, so needs setting up a bit, the stunt side takes a bit of practise, but it’s a good toy to have easy fun with, it seems quite robust as I’ve flew it without the guards and it’s still ok, It will be ok for my 11 yr old son but I wouldn’t give it to too much younger as they need a bit of patience with it, you need to provide 4 aaa batteries for the remote, overall I don’t think it’s a bad drone and with 40% off a good bargai

5.0 out of 5 stars Good easy to fly drone

I wish I’d tried this mini drone first before flying my big drone which I crashed and damaged within seconds of operating it. Whilst there’s a voucher off this is also a brilliant value mini drone.

The done is stored inside the controller which is a nice design. It comes with a tiny battery for the drone but you need 4 x AAA batteries for the control unit.
It’s a bit loud and the plastic quality is average but it’s a real fun little toy for children or beginners. It’s not for young children due to the tiny battery but they wouldn’t be able to control it flying anyway.
I think this would make a fantastic gift or stocking filler and at the moment it’s a great value price.

Really impressed with this little toy drone especially at this price

Comes with charger and battery for the drone but not the remote so you will need to get 4xAAA batteries to start with – would of been nice if they came with it but its not a big deal

It will take a bit of practice but first impression are really good
Its super fast and a little hard to control at times but i think it will get better with more practice
I would say its more for adults than children due to trying to control it but with supervision could be great fun especially at the park on warmer days

Son was very happy with this, it’s a nice little drone, easy to set up with clear instructions, easy to use controller, seems pretty durable with an ok battery life.

his is a toy mini drone, it’s very small and lightweight, a 2 sticks controller is included, there are quite alot extra buttons with the controller for take off, landing, speed, stunt (spin and flip), headless mode and horizontal trimmings

one battery and usb charger are included for the drone, the controller needs 4 x aaa batteries to run, the controller has a small compartment for drone storage, propellers need to be extended before play

tested it and it’s much less stable than expected, it drifted quite a lot and speed is very fast at all speed, i don’t think kids could handle it easily, i have experience with remote control drone for many years and i still find it’s difficult to keep the drone stable, not even mention the altitude hold feature

fortunately there are propeller guards included for beginners, also i found the drone is quite durable without the guard, i crashed it a few times to walls, doors and floor, it still look like new

spin and flip stunt modes are quite interesting, but need more skill before using them, or it will easy to crash or even get hurt by the sudden quick movement

anyway, it’s an interesting toy, but definitely not for little kids, even for age 10+, they will need to do more practice to play it safely

    i’m happy with this produc

4.0 out of 5 stars need more practice to play it safely
