Me sorprendi lo rpido que me llego y el transportista muy amable. El taladro es fuerte, es como se describe. Pero para lo que yo necesito tuve que cambiar a unas brocas mas resistentes y el taladro se adapta bien a estas brocas. Pero usare las brocas que venan con el taladro para otras labores mas simples. As que genial. Muy contenta con la compra.
Well made, easy to use,and useful for so many things. I used it to drill pilot holes for guitar tuning machines,but this could easily handle bigger jobs. A great tool to have .
This drill is not what I would call “lightweight” and that’s exactly what I love about it. It is heavy duty, excellent construction designed to last for years. I like the standard drill chuck where you can swap out bits and even use screw head bits. I’ve had other handrills through the years that eventually fall apart but this one looks & feels like it’s going to stick around.
This is a decent hand drill at it’s current price point ($25.99). It doesn’t have the quality of more expensive models and it’s pretty good compared to anything else in this range. It’s cast steel body is pretty rugged as is the solid cast steel gear assembly. Unfortunately, this makes it heavier than any other hand drill I own. That’s a shame as lighter weight is usually a pretty good benefit of a hand drill.
My only complaint really is that the gearing isn’t really smooth. Mine sticks when the gear handle is directly opposite the bottom shaft gear. I’m not sure what is causing it as I don’t see any reason for it to bind at that point. It almost seems like the gear plate isn’t perfectly flat, but I can’t detect any deviations. I’m also somewhat disappointed that the teeth of both gears are painted/enameled. I can imagine that finish lasting over the years, but hopefully I’m wrong. As far as I’m concerned, hand drills should be designed to last multiple lifetimes.
