Valves become affected by lime scale. At end of each season remove for winter storage and run limescale remover through the system. Vinegar does the job but specialist products are available

Performed very well, kept all our plants watered and healthy, then 1 month after the 2 year warranty expired, so did the Sensor Controller. I assumed that batteries had expired, but not the case.

Easy to use and works well. Solid brand and well made. Had a previous model that also was brilliant until I let the frost at it. Tried different brands but were flimsy and broke

Replaced my old hozelock timer unit after 10 years of summer watering. This unit is a better design as its easier to replace the batteries and having more timing options. Brilliant for use in the greenhouse programmed for just 2 mins, 4 times per day created a huge crop of cucumbers and tomatoes.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI write a review as i see a video of a leak. I have bought say 12 Hozelock controllers over the years (two recently). My guess as to cause of leak is metric Hozelock to imperial tap or missing washer.
To create decent garden watering is essential and if you still work and your time is limited then you need automatic watering. Hozelock do the job. I wish they were cheaper and lasted longer. Mine seldom last more than two years. Sometimes it is my own fault as i leave them out in frost or forget to take out batteries during winter. Overall thought they create wonderful flower results.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersWorks fine. One criticism – start time cannot be set ahead. You have to be there to set the first watering – that is the start time. Then it repeats at whatever interval you set from that time eg next day at same time.
