Might have given it 5 Stars if it was complete with a universal tap connector other than the specific connector provided. The one shown in the demo and included is only suitable for one type of domestic tap.Having said that I separately purchased a connector to suit my type of tap which was made by hoselock but found that difficult to keep attached so no end up with it being manually held in position by my wife while I operate the hose!!
For.separate comment on the additional connector I bought see separate review

A nice compact hose pipe, not for a large garden as would take you hours to do the watering. You can use either the grey hose pipe or the shorter yellow hose pipe or both together for a little longer. 1 found the connection ok and no leaks at the moment anyway.it does the job if you have a small garden with the attached rose giving varies water distribution.

Very happy with this hose. Easy to use, lightweight & easy to roll back up. Only slight complaint is it leaks slightly in the middle where the hose attaches to the reel. Also the cable ties attached for shipping were very difficult to remove as overtightened. But great produc

Well made bit of kit. Lightweight to carry around and rewinds easily. Hose is narrow and does not kink when rewinding onto reel. Gun has several settings. Perfect for small gardens
    Its worth the money

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersA 10m reel with a small “pico” diameter hose. The hose is in 2 sections (2m and 8m). The spray gun can be used in either “stop” connector – giving the option of 2 or 8m between the reel and tap – and vice versa with the spray gun.

The hose diameter is indeed small – so water pressure is not brilliant. However, I found it adequate for watering our small front garden and for washing the car. The connectors accept any Hozelock (and compatible) accessories including a car washing brush. I have had no issues with leaks or connectors popping off.

The whole thing is light, very compact and easy to store. It’s ideal for a small garden but for anything larger where a good length spray is required, go for a reel with a normal size (1/2″) hose.

The kit is not particularly cheap however, I took advantage of the current Amazon interest free (6.50pm for 5 months) offer.

    UPDATE –
Surprisingly, I have found that the limiting factor for water flow is actually the supplied Hozelock spray gun! Fitting a Spear & Jackson spray head greatly improved spray strength. It’s still not as good as a full-sized hose but, for my purposes, it’s more than adequate…..

4.0 out of 5 stars Just the job! 👌

This is a good hose – ideal for smaller garden but not as powerful as it could be. However it does the job well, it’s lightweight, portable easy to use and store. Arrived with a faulty connector – contacted Amazon who arrange for a part refund to cover replacement fitting. When the replacement arrived that was faulty as well, so another was sent out which arrived the next day. Good customer service and all appears to be working fine now. Would I buy another – if this one lasts then
    Probably

Only 10m length but perfect for a small area. In may case, I don’t want be lugging 30m of hose around if I only need 10m. Easy to use and tidies away nicely after use. Would recommend.

Flow is a bit restricted but I bought it because I wanted the smallest available hose reel so it would fit in a small cupboard and it does that perfectly. Standard Hozelock quality, very good.

Comes with auto shutoff connectors on both ends so the hose is stored full of water and cannot drain easily, not really an issue most of the time but might be a bad idea to store this outside in the winter.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI really like this hose, very light and manoeuvrable and perfect for washing my car, mountain bike and watering the patio plants. Take note that the diameter of the pipe is smaller than a normal garden hose which suits me fine as I don’t have great water pressure where I live. It doesn’t feel super sturdy so can tell you how long it will last but I haven’t had any issues so far. I already had a metal Draper adjustable head which I switched over from the supplied unit which I think is better, more solid. No water leaks so far either. I would make it a couple of meters longer if I could but can manage as it is. Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little hose

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis hose has been a godsend for watering my small garden during the recent drought. The reel is ightweight and is easily concealed behind a herb pot when not in use. I notice other reviewers have felt the hose was shorter than advertised, but mine is certainly the full 10m. In fact when the hose length is combined with the length of the squirt, I’ve been able to water a shrub in the far corner of my garden, which is over 10m away. The spray attachment gives the same choice of spray patterns as you would get on a larger hose, and I’ve had no leaks. The hose has been in daily use since I purchased it in June, and I’m delighted with it. My only gripe is that I wish it could be supplied in a less garish colour. The 2m of bright yellow hose which run from my tap to the reel stick out like a sore thumb behind my water feature. Dark green or black would be far less obtrusive, especially in the small spaces for which it is designed.
