Really great and I am very pleased with it. I will buy another one in the future once this one needs replacing.
Only small issue with the lid, that it fills with water when in the rain. Have made my own insert to make the lid stand up so the rain runs off it. If this could be improved, this would be a perfect buy.
Love this pod, easy to build, great value for money and good quality which means it’s comfortable on your feet and legs etc when in it. Wasn’t sure about the cold water at first but now I’m addicted!

Arrived really quickly, packed very well. Really clear instructions to assemble. I purchased the XL as I’m on the large side and I wanted to be able to sit crossed legged when in the pod. Plenty of room, happy with my decision. Really pleased the cover fits well. Invigorating, stimulating and relaxing. Really recommend the cold pod, I wish I had ordered it sooner!
Didn’t expect it to be that comfy in there. The material feels very heavy duty. Inflating the ring was a bit of a faff but got there in the end.
Definitely worth the extra for the better quality product!
I’ve put off buying a cold pod for ages thinking it would be high maintenance but I was so wrong! I’m so glad I finally went for it! Installation was super easy, a few simple steps and it was up and ready to use! Fill the tub and it’s ready for dipping! There is a valve on the back for easy emptying and then I can refill! They recommend this every 2 weeks & it’s been very easy to do!
The lid to keep it covered when not in use is really easy to put on and keeps the water clean!
There’s plenty of space for what’s needed, an early morn dip to get all those good endorphins going!

Only had it a couple of weeks but does the job. Plenty of room to get in submerge and sit without feeling cramped. Materials seem robust enough once the bath is filled with water. Hopefully I won’t regret this review
A well designed pod, simple while efficient. It can do the job well what it is designed for. The product’s quality look quite OK. Plastic material is quite rigid. The stitches look dense enough. The air/water holes and seals have high standard. No comment on its durability since we only got it for few days. I would recon that some sport centres, where more spaces to hold a few of them, could even love this product more.
Update – since speaking to cold pods customer services they sent out replacement parts and some free gifts, the pod is working perfectly again, would recommend!
Ordered on the 28th July, came the next day, initially I was very pleased, did exactly what I expected, I would definitely recommend buying an ice bath after this purchase for the benefits, however after 2 weeks the tap started leaking and now it doesn’t stay full for more than a day.
Just what I wanted, easy to set up and very sturdy. Only issue is getting the tub to my desired temperature. I’m sure this will sorted when we go in to colder months. Highly recommend
I have been sufering with some depression problems for years, been on tablets but this helped me more! 10 mins everything morning is all you need, only thing is I am 6 ft 3 and can’t really fit in comfortably but not a massive complaint for only 10 mns a day.

Spent a good few days reading back and forth different brands of ice pods. Decided to settle with The Cold Pod. Customer service was a good factor too as many people have mentioned how good it is. The product looks good is solid. No negatives so far.
Looked at various products online and decided to ‘take the plunge’ and ordered my cold pod.
Arrived super quick and after 5 minutes it was being filled, ice added and lid added ready for the following morning.
8am and in I went, unsure if I would feel any benefit but now I’m 3 weeks in, 4-5 minutes every morning and I feel great.
Better sleep, more focused and alert and my mood hs improved (or so I’m being told)

The 320 litres pod is ideal if you’re either sticky or tall as it is quite roomy inside, the pod itself is super easy to assemble and feels robust and durable. I’ve really benefited from the ice baths in terms of recovery (I bought it because I pulled a hamstring), I was jogging lightly within a week after being in the pod everyday and doing Physiotherapy. Mentally it puts me in such a great place, it’s an ideal way to start the day as the boost you get is way better than coffee. Best 100 I ever spent – Ricky St Claire

Owned my plunge pod for a few months now and use it most days. I chose this one as its a UK based company and frankly did’nt want 2 months for it to arrive. This was literally next day delievery which was a bonus.
Easy to fill up, drain and clean. Usually change the water every week as it does get abit grimey after a while.
Suprisingly roomy, i am 6ft 2 and the water, when full is up to my neck.
Great bit of kit, easy to assemble and use.
The only downsides are the fact it doesnt stay that cold when hot outside. Once filled up its usually around the 14 degree mark, once the suns been on it for a day it creeps up to around 20 degrees, so not really a cold pod. But in the cooler weather, it works as it should. Could maybe do with a extra thermo lid like other conpanies use?

I would personally love another lid (like an unlay lid) (some others have them), to stop things falling off and into the water when you take the lid off.
It’s cold! I also bought a thermometer (the duck) on Amazon. Coldest it’s got is 13 in 65days ( and counting).
Just buy it and you’ll never regret it.

So far the water has been in The Cold Pod for a week and I think its still ok to use, I’m guessing I’ll get another week out of it then I’ll drain, clean and fill it back up again.
I’ve been using cooler ice blocks for mine, before I go out I throw 5 ice blocks in 10 minutes before and it really helps to cool the water.
If you’re in two minds of a company to use to purchase your ice bath from, I’d be happy to recommend The Cold Pod.
Love it. Before buying this I bought one 30 cheaper and regretted it as soon as I bought it. After a fortnight it developed a leak and I returned it. This one seems so much better but I have only used it for a week.
The cold plunge is a great addition for me it came really quick and very easy to assemble my only issue is that I’m 6’1 and bought the standard size I feel your slightly cramped when you fully submerge if I’d of known I’d of purchased the bigger size but overall it’s a good way to get your cold therapy in at home.
There was no apparent damage to the product when I received it, but unfortunately when I installed it as per instructions in the booklet and filled it with water, it was leaking from the joints where the plastic bars fit in.
UPDATE- the seller did a great job on customer satisfaction and offered us a replacement that is perfect 10/10.
Ordered and arrived promptly within a few days. 5 minutes setup and all set to go. Nice quality to everything. It doesn’t take up any space in our back garden, I’m 5ft 11 inches, and can sit comfortably in it with my shoulders and neck submerged. I stood on and squashed the drain hose accessory, so reached out to Cold Pod, who replied almost immediately and sent me 2 spare drain hoses without delay. Fantastic customer service!!

Am now using every day and building up the time before adding ice .
Am hoping it will help with a back injury I’ve got plus the usual aches and pains.
Not going to lie, it’s not easy getting from thighs to shoulders but when you do it’s absolutely comfortable to sit there.

I was contacted by the cold pod company (Robyn) and asked about my experience with the original cold pod and was informed they had just released a BIGGER version of the cold pod! This was sent to me the following day!!!
First impressions it looks the same just seems little wider. Was up and ready to fill in minutes and looked bigger but not any taller in size. Once filled and I got in I could move my legs around and rest my back against it. Lot more room to move without feeling constricted unlike the previous model. After use I put the lid on and noticed a mesh like hole in the lid which wasn’t present in the original lid. This is a better design and the original lid used to dip into the water when it rained as the water just sat on top of the lid. This lid now allows the rain to drain into the pod without letting in any dirt/leaves! Much needed improvement and very impressed how a small change goes a long way.

I chose this one over alternatives because of their UK based stock and seemingly amazing customer service according to many other customers that have needed it.
The pod itself is great quality and seems sturdy, the lid could be better but this is negligible.
Been a job trying to get it cold enough the past few weeks but it’s been blisteringly hot so can’t expect anything less.. roll on winter!!!
Anybody that has any tips on keeping it clean ie chlorine, bromine etc and levels they’d be gratefully accepted as regardless of if I shower before or after my water is absolutely rotten after just a few plunges. I’ve had a look online and there seems to be so many mixed opinions it all gets a bit overwhelming and I give up searching.
If you want a cheaper pod go and wait a month for another company to dropship it from China and save yourself all of 30 and then wait another month for it to be sorted when it goes wrong.
As for the benefits of cold therapy I feel fantastic and it definitely isn’t placebo, I feel like I’ve left my kid in Morrisons if I don’t plunge after a workout now.
Got my dad and brothers to buy one very shortly after I did and they’re loving it too!

This item is essentially a big paddling pool that has leaked for me. On reasonably hot days it is near on impossibly to get the water cold enough to provide recovery benefits.
I wouldn’t advertise this item as a cold pod. It provides no cooling benefits.
For this reason adding to the fact that it leaks on my first use I have given it 1*. It’s not exactly cheap either.
If you’re serious about recovery I’d look elsewhere and pay the extra money. That is what I intend to do.
I assumed the water would magically stay fresh but I’m changing it every 4 days – my fault obviously. Need to investigate chlorine tabs or something!
I’m using this daily. 6ft1 and I fit fine, just remember to keep moving so the water doesn’t warm against your skin!
It’s easy to change the water by syphoning out into a drain, but make sure you’ve gotta drain nearby!
The lid is really rubbish and flimsy. In the rain it goes concave and fills with a puddle. Rest of it is good.
As for this, I’m 6’2 and have very wide shoulders. I’m also not that flexible. I fit in by crossing my legs. My toes can get a little crushed but it’s fine. So for me, it’s great. The floor is slightly padded, but as you’re in water you don’t really benefit, especially if you put salt in the water. Sitting cross-legged, my chin is in the water. The tub sits in the sun but the water doesn’t heat up and even with the lid off doesn’t warm too quickly, so great material.
The price is high. I knew the price and paid the price, and it does what it says on the tin. It is a high price. Is it worth it? If I was smaller I would have cheaper alternatives. For that much for this one, I would have liked more room. Would I buy again? Yes. It enables me to sit fully submerged in ice water. It isn’t a cheap material/ poor quality. It also has a couple of options for emptying, instead of just one, which I find useful.
Great way to enjoy an ice bath.

I had issues with the rim (it didn’t hold air, so it deflated almost immediately, losing around 10cm in the height of the tub). ColdPod got in touch and offered a number of solutions. All of them were amazing. I chose a replacement.
The new one arrived today. I set it up in about three minutes, the rim inflated and held perfectly, and it’s full and ready to use. This is a PERFECT piece of kit for daily plunges. Easy to fill, easy to empty, so, so comfortable. I’m 5’8″ and there’s a heap more room for someone much taller. Thank you, Robyn and the ColdPod team!!!

I really want to change this review to five stars all the way, but I can’t find another way to contact the seller (so I hope you all are watching and responding to reviews). This is generally excellent, but the inflatable rim deflates in seconds. The only things holding it up are the legs and the water. There’s obviously a leak in the rim which I’m happy to fix… if I could find it! Any ideas?
The pod comes neatly in a handy bag with a small manual pump to inflate the upper ring of the pod. This beauty is super simple and quick to set up(instructions included for those who may need them).
11 minutes to fill, add a block of ice, get in and feel the benefits. I had my first go(10 minutes), an hour before bed and it was the best night’s sleep I’ve had for a long long time. I have used the pod every day for a week and I’m not feeling sluggish, I feel more pro-active and niggling aches are disappearing.

As soon as the box turned up I went to set it up straight away, barely 2 minutes later I was inflated and ready to fill up with water and ice.
Brilliant features on this all round but the drainage lever is probably the best and the extender hose that easily attaches is quality the insulated cover is also brilliant and keeps the temp down between uses.
First use went well apart from I put too much water in so caused a bit of overflow, my fault thought I was perhaps a little skinnier than I actually am. I have been using regularly after the gym and golf and I find I’m recovering so much better with little to no aches and pains.
I had a holiday booked in Scotland where lots of long walks were planned so I decided to pack it up and take it along for the ride! Used every day once it was set up and even convinced my wife to get in and she loved it as well! Super portable and would 100000000% recommend!
When I first saw the box The Cold Pod was delivered in, I thought that there is no way it could possibly be big enough, but………hold on!!
I took it out of the box and this is what I discovered.
It was so easy to put together – it took just a few minutes.
I immediately got into it and even though I’m 6ft ( 183cms) tall, I could see that I could easily use this – and I wouldn’t be using too much water either!! This was totally doable!
It’s such a clever design and well within the budget of most people and it has excellent social media support.
This is a UK company which is always a bonus, though, like most things these days, it’s made in China. I imagine that if it was manufactured in England it would be twice the price!!
A couple of the features I like are the easy drain system and the clever lid to help keep the water clean and cold.

For the last few years I have lived with M.E. / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and have researched everything I can about the condition, so that I can live as normal a life as possible. I’ve been investigating the benefits of cold therapy and I am excited to experience the effects.
Knowing how much friends are now experiencing a greater sense of well-being using The Cold Pod, I can’t wait to report back on the benefits, which I will do probably in a couple of months.
I used to live near the sea and it was easy to go to the beach and take a cold plunge there, but I no longer have that advantage, so this is going to be the best alternative I can think of.

NOW, where’s the ice?!
The set up was really easy and only took a couple of minutes. There is also an easy to follow start up guide.
I am about 5″10 and when sat fully onto the bottom I am covered up to my chin with plenty of room around me unlike other products where I have found I am cramped up by my legs while crouching down. there is padding on the bottom which was very comfortable to sit in as well as in inflatable neck rest around the top of the ring.
The lid is easy to apply and secured on with a drawstring.
The valve allows easy emptying of the cold tub with an attachable hose (just make sure you close it before filling the tub unlike me).
Everything was packaged very professionally with everything I needed including a bag for easy storage.
Very prompt delivery
I could not recommend this product enough!
