Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought the trowel and fork in this range. They are pretty well-made, and I think they’ll outlast me, but the wooden shafts are giving me little splinters! Easy enough to smooth down, but for the price they should be the bees knees really.
You might think this is a bit of a quibble, but I wanted these to live up to the standard of my Neverbend garden fork that I bought in 1979 and is still as good as ever.

What an amazing tool, why didn’t I buy this before. Now, no bending down and I can turn over the dirt and dig the weeds out. The wooden handle is sturdy and the right length for me. (I’m 5′ 6 ” tall) The small fork on the end makes it easier to dig between the plants. I love it and would definitely recommend it’s purchase.

Bought this when I bust my knee – it breaks up the soil and lifts the weeds, but they just regrow if you leave them – so you still need to bend down and pick the weeds up – but it’s easier on the lower back than using a hand trowel.

Just as described on-line. The long-handled garden fork makes weeding possible for me. I have M.S. and I can’t bend and stand up again without placing my balance in jeopardy. A handsome, sturdy piece of equipment. Thank you.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersWhilst I got this for my own use and found it ideal for weeding and surface aeration in between existing plants in border I am delighted that it comes with an exra totally unexpected bonus!! My wife has taken to spending time in CV-19 lockdown doing the borders with it ….something she has rarely done before but because this tool is so comfortable to use and negates the need to kneel she loves spending some time outside in the fresh air this way!! Win! Win!!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersProduct looks good. Have only used it briefly so far. The 40″ long handle makes weeding much easier. However, for the price, bit disappointed with the finish on the handle – feels rough and unfinished. I could rub it down or let it wear smooth through use but this actually makes the product feel a bit ‘cheap’ – which it’s not!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI use this this to weed between plants and also to lightly disturb soil. The smaller size of the fork end does not damage the plant roots as much as my hoe. Also the quality is good.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI do some gardening for several people in the village where I live. A previous long handled weed fork with a metal handle broke in the spring after many years of use. I read the reviews of various replacements, and decided to opt for this slightly more expensive garden tool. In this instance it has been a case of you get what you pay for, and it has turned out to be a superior good quality product.

It has a long reach wooden handle that is pleasant and more comfortable to use over say a couple of hours continuously , compared with the previous metal handled tool I had. It is a relatively light weight tool, with a small stainless steel head. The fork head tends to stay clean, and is ideal for reaching inbetween or underneath established shrubs and herbaceous perennials or across a border without needing to stand on the soil. I have used it now for many hours on my own and others gardens. On the fairly sandy soil we have locally it has coped well. proving robust and well up to the job.

It is ideal for lightly tilling a flower bed, going a bit deeper that a conventional hoe, but a lot more shallow than a border fork. At this time of year you can use it without damaging planted bulbs which are a bit deeper. I have used it extensively now over tens of hours over the previous 6 months or so, and I have found it an ideal tool for cultivating borders, freshening them up, removing the light weeds, and leaving everything spick and span. Having been favourably impressed with this “Kew Gardens ” garden tool from Spear and Jackson, when any other implements need replacing in the future I will give this superior range careful consideration.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA WELL MADE AND ROBUST LONG HANDLED GARDEN TOOL. A REAL BOON TO THE TALLER PERSON OR THOSE HAVING DIFFICULTY IN KNEELING. CAN WEED OR LIGHTLY CULTIVATE SOIL STANDING UP AND USING BODY WEIGHT TO ASSIST WORK. HAVE USED FOR ONE SEASON WITH GREAT SUCCESS.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersBrilliant weedfork! Having recently moved home, the garden at the new place has deep and uncared for flower-beds which are riddled with weeds. But this fork can reach a long way across the beds and its head is small enough not to disturb the good plants as one digs out the bad ones.

I had been looking for one of these long-handled, narrow-head forks for ages so was pleased to eventually find it here on the site. It’s not cheap but the sturdiness and quality of manufacture means that it represents very good value. Dig in!

Brilliant quality delighted with my purchase
My only criticism is that the handle is about a foot too short It needs to be longer
Otherwise It’s a great buy thank you
