This is easy to assemble and to fly. The 50 metre cord length is average (though some come with 100m). The long tail looks good when the kite is flying.
Despite the description, this kite is in my opinion most suited for children, not adults.
I like this kite and as the instructions say it is suitable for beginners, I tried it out with a six year old relative to check their ability to manage it.
The first response was good, as they could help assemble it without any problems at all. Then off to the local field to see how it flies. Luckily we have fields close by, including ones that are on a hillside so the location was good. The long tails of the kite do drag on the ground as you run to start the kite flying, so its important to watch out so you don’t get tangled up in them if the wind blows them around you. The very light weight of the kite means you don’t need strong winds to get it in the air, it is quite soon up and away. The cord to hold is thin but strong and with a reasonable wind, even the six year old could have fun but I did hang on to the string too so we didn’t get the kite blown out of his hand. Unlike some more advanced kite, this one is not suited to stunts, but it is very good for beginners, and gives lots of fun just as it is. For the price, it is good value and is suitable for beginners of most ages. The colours are bright and the unusual shape does seem to help it fly well.
