It was like christmas come early, so many goodies in one box, the soldering iron has proper temperature control, easy to set the temperature by 1C increments, once set, it gives feedback as to what temperature its at, came down quickly and in good packaging

fast heat ramp up, holds at temp well, didn’t need the rest of the kit so I can comment on that as ive not used it, but the iron itself is a great little iro

Nice and compact, heats up very quickly and does it’s job well.
The included accessories are just gravy. The screwdriver is pretty nice but the rest are things I already have better versions of.
    Worth the money.

For how much this little kit was I cannot fault it one bit. The iron itself heats up super quick and the different tips are easy to install.
The long screwdriver bits are particularly handy for RC cars.

Only tested on a gameboy sp fuse, the small tips was great as they was the right size unlike a standard soldering iron, the temp control is a added feature with i like as i can control it as a small heat gun (without the tip) to use on shrink tubes.

I needed a soldering iron to do a single job, and it’s done!

The surprise is that the manual describes the five additional points are described as pyrography points!

    New toy to play with!

Good basic soldering kit for the price. Good temperature control and additional accessories. Husband was a little disappointed it came in a box rather than a pouch as the box didn’t fit in his already overflowing tool box. Comfortable to hold and manipulate into position. This is one of those items that is always handy to own as you never know when you will need it! For 19.99 it is well worth the price.

Comes with everything you need to get started on soldering. Top heat setting is good enough for melting even the tougher industrial solder used on consumer devices.

You also get a screwdriver, solder sucker and magnetic board in the box as well as a few other bits in there.

It’s easier to use and feels more premium than your basic soldering iron without controls.

I wasn’t expecting much from this kit because of the price point but I have to say that I am surprised and impressed!
It is a good functional soldering kit and is excellent value for the money. It is not a heavy duty kit for heavy usage but a good kit if it is just for now and again usage.
The iron has a easy to read LCD screen and heats up quickly, the temperature can range between 180C-480C.

    The box contains:

    1x Temperature adjustable soldering iron

1x Soldering Iron Stand and holder

    1x Sponge for tips cleaning

1x Wire Stripper Tool (length: 9cm)

    1x Tweezer

    1x Soldering wire

1x Desoldering Pump / Solder Sucker

    5x Soldering Iron Tips

    12 in1 Screwdriver

    1x Magnetic plate

    1* User manual

    It’s exceptional value for money.

This is a good little starter soldering kit, ideal for someone who just needs to do a little bit of soldering now and again rather than heavy weekly usage. The main component that is missing is a stand for the iron, I think the kit would have been better costing an extra quid but with a stand included, but again for the odd job it shouldn’t be an issue.

This kit surprised me how cheap it was considering the plethora of tools you get with it. I’ve seen many many soldering irons alone cost way more than this.

Like some others have mentioned, the magnetic memory mat was completely crumpled in the small box everything was stuffed into. Easy enough to sort by laying it on a flat surface with some weight on top of it for a few hours and it’s good as new.

It works exactly as described, heats up quick and the on/off button is a real great addition. Only knocked a start due to the packaging.

    4/5

The whole kit was crammed so much into a little cardboard box, the magnetic memory mat was buckled into to fit in it.

I like the screwdriver and bits but they are loose and really better in a kit form with a holder for them all etc, but the rest of the items are best used in a temporary DIY hobbyist style, rather for any professional use. the stand is very small and not really safe as the tip can roll off it if not careful. But i was glad that the iron itself was with a proper UK moulded plug and the rubberised grip too and temp display was useful the rest of the kit is basic but i am not sure what composition is in the solder as there is not sticker on the tube to show what is in it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Crammed into a small box.

I got this for making my own little light boxes and soldering the light cables for my craft projects.
I don’t need anything too flash or expensive, just one that works as I’ll only be doing basic jobs with it.

Firstly, let me say this heats up super quick – you know on the instructions where it says ‘When the soldering iron is turn-on, the soldering iron begins to heat. Please do not touch the tip of the soldering iron with your hands.’ – yeah, well I kind of put my thumb and forefinger on the tip to see if it was heating up and managed to get quite a bad blistered burn on both fingers – definitely a blonde moment and completely my own fault!
Apart from that, the set of tools you get is comprehensive, although I agree with a previous review that the heat mat is not heat proof, and I used my granite block instead.
Overall, great control and perfect for smaller jobs or even for someone who wants to learn soldering – I have done a bit before so I class myself as a beginner but this was easy enough to use straight away and successfully…

4.0 out of 5 stars Really does heat up quick
