My son loves to run off spontaneously, and this helps me make sure he’s safe.

We’d use it for walking in the main narrow roads. Helps with teaching when to cross, and also when near open waters like the streams and ponds.

He loves the design so is eager to put it on most of the times.

We add a small water bottle and a snack or 2 inside. Just light items we may need in the park. Also, it can fit a light raincoat, so helps with the unpredictable weather.

Most of the times, other adults are in aww and find it cute when my son is wearing this.

My child’s safety is more important than the opinions of others so I will happily use this backpack with reins.

Not just useful but really attractive, without doubt the nicest one I found in my searches.
    My granddaughter loves it.
I had a minor issue that Amazon couldn’t answer so I dealt directly with the company. They were professional, helpful and honestly their fantastic standard of customer service is something rarely experienced these days. I cannot praise them enough

My 19mo loves his little back pack and puts it on himself, I love the reigns handle so I can keep him from legging it! Highly recommend.

I got this for my niece and she absolutely loves wearing it. There is enough room for her water bottle, little books and teddy etc., and even a pack of wipes if we need to sneak them in! The reigns allow for you to keep hold of your little person whilst allowing them the freedom to walk around, and so far, my niece has never wriggled out of the backpack whilst she’s had it on.

Really great product. My son likes the design and it’s really handy to help keep him in one place when he walks. Quite a roomy space in the backpack as well for toddler snacks!

We couldn’t work out why this didn’t appear to fit our grandchild properly – but realise that if we put something inside it ( her cup and snacks) then it worked fine!
Useful reins to keep an active child at bay!

So cute and great idea when little 1s are wanting to be that bit more independent when just walking my little girl loves it and put it on her self as it’s her backpack

Love this little stingray backpack with reins. My granddaughter is Australian and lives by the beach so this was so appropriate for her. Being able to attach the reins is great to keep her safe. Fits her sun hat and snacks in perfectly.

Brought 2 of these, one in another design, for my 2 twin granddaughters. Mainly because they have not long started walking and want to get out of their pram all the time and walk. Love the fact that it has a sturdy handle and the top – came in handy when walking in the snow before Christmas to stop them falling down and hurting themselves and getting soaked. But also like the fact that it’s got a long leash handle to give them some space between you when walking in the park etc. The backpack part is not large but you don’t want something too bulky on their backs. But it’s big enough to fit in essentials like drink, snack etc

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy daughter loves this, especially the wings, she brings it to us so she can wear it in the house. We had a similar dinosaur version for my sons, gives a little more freedom without allowing them to wander into danger. They work really well so long as the child is happy to wear the backpack.

At first I wasn’t sure I wanted any type of reigns for my little one but since having the sting ray backpack I actually find going for a walk SO much easier. The bonus is my daughter loves wearing it and often wants to hold it as her chosen ‘toy’ in the car (minus the long strap). The strap is long enough that she gets a bit of freedom but she obviously can’t go far from me. I really rate this product.

Bought for my 3 year old granddaughter. She was delighted with it. It’s not too bulky yet has storage room for some toys and other bits and bobs. Really impressed with the suppliers customer service too. Went the extra mile regarding my purchase

I’ve had cheaper backpack reins from places but these are the best. Stury, good qulaity, can get a decent amount inside (a nappy & a pack of wipes and a few small toys such as cars), you can see what you are paying for, top quality and very sturdy & safe.

Bought this for our first grandchild she is just starting to walk it’s great to keep her steady, and not having to hold her hand gives her more confidence as she is walking, she can also carry her own juice and snacks while going for a walk and most important she can’t wonder off.

I bought this item for my 22 month old child. Fits perfectly according to her height and body size. The bag is big enough to put her littler toys and snacks like bananas and drinks and crisps. The handles have good padding for their comfort and also a secure fastener across the front so bag does not slip off their shoulders. So even if they fall on their back it does act like a thin cushion. It is splash proof or can be worn during light rain. The rein is a little short for my liking and no way of extending it unless you go cut and paste with a sewing machine. It is a little pricey but for the material, craftmanship and colour and padding it is worth it because it was bought with the intention of it being a hand-me-down for other younger siblings. The design work is fun and suitable for both boys and girls. I noticed John Lewis stock this for a little more in price.

This is just adorable , I bought it for my one year old. Fits perfectly as it’s adjustable . We started using it when she was 10 months and it fit fine then as well. It’s absolutely adorable watching her walking around with it and I get a lot of comments of how cute she looks ! It’s actually a little back pack as well so you can fit snacks etc in there . The “lead” is a comfortable length and has a nice loop to hold onto , this is detachable , so once little one is old enough to be trusted not to run away she’s got a cute little back pack .

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThese little backpacks are amazing!! My 15mth old was really struggling with his walking, he wouldn’t walk without holding someone’s hand or pushing his Walker. He could walk but he just couldn’t get the confidence to go on his own! I looked into this as a friend had recommended them to me! Best thing we brought for him, as the backpack is a bit weighted & the reins are easy to support it just gave him the confidence to walk without me & within a week of using it that was it he was off!! Plus really useful now he is racing round!!

I’m a huge fan of little life. The colours, versatility, value for money, durable, fun, functional and always the ‘safety first’ aspect of all their products. My first child had so many products which I stupidly passed on thinking we weren’t having more children.

Highly recommended for parents of multiple birth:
When I was pregnant a second time but this time with twins I knew I’d need these backpacks with reins again as I did with my first. Little eye watering when pricing up double but definitely worth the money. I did look at buying cheap versions but chose not to as they’re not as safe from what I’ve seen at baby groups, on the school run and out and about. Cute looking, less than half the price but poor quality.

Absolutely love this! More fun and less authoritarian than plain wrist or chest reins, my little one actually likes wearing it! This is a bonus on top of being able to walk safely with my little 1 year old without worrying about them dashing in front of cars, other people, getting lost etc.

The bag is large enough to hold a couple of essentials, such as a bag of snacks, some tissues, maybe a book or small toy – my little one is obsessed with putting things in bags and boxes at the moment so adds to the fun we have with this.

The harness is attached to the top of the bag (the bag fastens around the chest, in addition to the shoulder straps) and has a pivoting joint, which helps stop the rein from getting too twisted. the wrist loop (for the adult) is slightly padded and therefore a bit more comfortable. The reins and backpack are sturdy; there has been no ripping, rearing or other damage to it when the little one has tried to make a run for it or fallen over.

I notice that some reviews seem to have received counterfeit type bags, however the one I received (I ordered the black and yellow bee daysack) was a genuine Littlelife bag – good quality and sturdy. I compared it to one on the high street and it was identical.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI got the backpack for my wee girl who’s 20 months old and she loves it! ‘Bees’ was one word she found the easiest to say when she started talking so she loves bees, making this the ideal backpack to get for her.

The quality is top notch – it’s well made and feels very durable. The fabric is really nice and the size is ideal for most toddlers. There’s also plenty of space inside for essentials (in our case that’s Monkey, Iggle Piggle, Jemima Puddleduck and a banana!) The straps fit snugly, and are comfortable for her and easily adjustable for us.

Being quite a free spirit, my wee girl likes to go off on her own all over the place, so having the rein-like strap that attaches to a clip on the back is a real bonus. It gives us a bit of control over her in busy places but doesn’t limit her movement completely so she has at least a sense of freedom.

I’d recommend this to anyone with a toddler who needs a bag that they want to wear (my daughter won’t go out without it now) and that gives parents a bit more control over their kid’s randomness in busy places.
