These war plugs are great. Very comfortable and they feel secure. After trying loads of different kinds of ear plugs, like foam, wax mould one and other silicone ones I feel like I have finally found a set that really works. They come with a really love case too which is helpful. These earplugs help me to get off to sleep and I hardly notice they are there.

Bought to block out noise of snoring. Live the interchangeable ear buds. Getting correct size makes such a difference. Had to remove part way through night as loop uncomfortable to sleep on.

I have trouble with loud spaces, and these earplugs are good for dampening the noise of the surroundings. Not quite as quiet as I would like, but they are perfect on the go and discrete for busy places.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought these to try and drown out the sound of snoring from my other half, and they do work. I am able to at least fall asleep with these in and they are comfortable enough to wear all night without irritation. The don’t block all the noise, but they certainly reduce it enough.

I got these as my partner would keep me up throughout the night with his snoring. They’re super comfy and you don’t realise you’re wearing them. They’re not perfectly soundproof, but they do muffle things out which makes it easier. It helps as you can focus on your own breathing if you use these to sleep.

4.0 out of 5 stars Super comfy, fit nicely and are ALMOST soundproof

Excellent experience so far. They really do cut out background noise. As soon as I put them in, I couldn’t hear the heater fan blowing whilst im trying to watch tv…or the extractor fan whilst cooking. Can easily hear the TV and if people speak to me directly. Fab that it comes with different size tips and cute case.
Will be buying the engage and experience set!

it blocks out quite a lot of noise, makes it muffled in a way. feels a bit weird at first but you get used to it. if you aim to have conversation with these on, it will be a bit difficult to hear because it blocks out a lot, ill be getting the engage ones nex

I’ve only given this 4 stars as I haven’t used them yet. I bought for a long haul flight, in the hope they’ll help me get some sleep. I’ll review again when used.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought these to drown out the high pitch of my two autistic kids but so I could still hear what was happening, and they work! They’re also handy to drown out my husbands snoring and I seem to sleep better with them in They do make my ears a little sore if I wear them for too long though, maybe I need to try a different size bud

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI have never written a review but I’m really happy with this product.

I was skeptical of whether it works but decided to give it a try after reading the comments.

I’m living on a main road and the traffic noise is 24/7. I’m very sensitive to noises as I used to live in quiet areas, therefore I struggled to sleep at night. This pair of earplugs really block out the noise and decrease the level to a acceptable one, which allows me to sleep a lot better.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI got these to wear when I wanted to hear what my colleagues were saying and not have music on all the time at work. They do the job and do eliminate the sounds of chewing – doesn’t quite mask the sound of coughing though unfortunately. You’d be best with noise cancelling bluetooth earphones to be honest – I have a pair of these and don’t find them much different to the Loop earplugs. A little expensive for what they are.

After trying other brands my daughter was sceptical, but immediately found the fit and cancellation of noises that would usually make her anxious a great help, the case is great to keep them safe in her pocket to use at school.

I was surprised of how these little plugs block sounds that usually make me wake up at night. I’m an extremely light sleeper and I suffer from interrupted rest. The pack comes with different plug sizes to fit your ear canal better. Easy to clean and comfortable!

Fits easily in your ears, too early to say anything about the quality and longevity, stay in all night, they block enough noise to sleep, I haven’t cleaned them yet, but I suspect they’ll be easy to clean as they were easy to put together (using the correct size)

Brought these as my partner snores LOUD like through the floor loud. I got these and they have helped so much. I used the size they came with for a week and then I used the smaller ear size and I can’t him at all. Has helped my sleep so much. It hasn’t stopped him elbowing me mid sleep though.

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersI bought these for work in a noisy open-plan office. I have one colleague with a particularly loud and high-pitched voice.
At first I thought they were not doing anything becuase I can still hear noise, but they really calm out a certain annoying frequency and drown out the worst of the noise. After I put them in, I quickly become less aware of the noise in the room. It is good that I am still aware of enough noise to know when a colleague is trying to get my attention. I had tried over-the-ear sound protectors, but they were so heavy and uncomfortable. These are discreet, comfortable and easy to put in and remove. The standard ear insert fits well. I do think they are pricey for a little bit of silicon, but I am glad of the relief from the clacking keyboard and chatter. I have recommended them to other colleagues and I am going to get a pair for home too.

Inner ear plugs or earphones always hurt my ears so was so happy to find these! They come with different size attachments so they fit nicely and don’t even fall out when sleeping. I bought mine coz im a light sleeper and needed to drown out our baby’s active sleep because his groans and moans would wake me up throughout the night, the earphones drowned out those sounds but could still hear if he whined or cried so perfect balance for me.

I go to sleep early(9pm), as you can imagine for most people it’s early and are still going on about their day. So I though to try these and I am so happy I did. They are not only great at blocking out noise for sleep but also during the day when you need to focus.

They do come off at night but that doesn’t really matter as by then everybody else is asleep and I don’t need them.

I have been using silicone earplugs for a while and every night they would fall out of my ears. Also if they fell on the ground they would pick up all the dust or fluff from the carpet, bit gross!! These loop ear plugs are comfortable and stay in my ears all night, I love the colour, they come with a case and they have multiple sizes you can change in case the normal size doesn’t fit. All round a win in my book and I will be buying again!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought these as a bit of a gamble for my daughter as we were going to florida and know she struggles with loud noises fireworks etc…yeah lots there….. anyway she used them the first night and said urhh yeah think they helped? Then the next night…. not quite as loud as night before she took one out and jumped saying wow! No sorry they really do work!! She used them loads more times and we had far fewer meltdowns than I thought we might. The sizes on the tips were perfect but had different ones if needed and created a good seal, she said they were really lightweight and comfy to so didn’t annoy her which was a giant bonus!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat earplugs, although they don’t sit flush in my ears like the video. Only problem being, they come in a nice small case, however, trying to open the case is extremely difficult. Even with a knife – hoping not to get an injury!
Very effective at noise block but can still hear dull sounds.

My ear holes are really small, so I will need to push the ear buds pretty hard in order to achieve better noise cancellation. However that would hurt my outer ear a bit, hence the deduction of 1 star. Otherwise it works pretty well.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI slept really well with these in so they do a great job at blocking out the noise. They were comfier than other ear plugs I have used before but my ears still felt a bit sore after a couple of nights of using them- maybe it’s just my ears ! I would have given them 5 out of 5 if it wasn’t for that. They look nice and are easy to use and store in the little vase. I also love that they come with all sizes ! I was so pleased and the xs are the perfect size for me.

It reduces the noise noticeably however you can still hear some (not very loud noise) it is comfortable having them on when sleeping. I would recommend but if you are looking for something that completely cuts the noise this shouldn’t be the ones to buy.

I know these seem quite expensive for a set of ear plugs.
But they work and fit very well. I’ve used them at festivals, rock concerts and while sleeping. They bring the noise down a very comfortable level, I noticed they even remove some of the sound distortion from when speakers are too loud. They’re great to sleep in. I’ve not tried them while on a motorbike as I use moulded ear plugs for that. But the moulded plugs didn’t work as well as these do at music concerts.
    Worth the money.

I have new upstairs neighbours who are much noisier than the previous ones, and who have an unfortunate habit of dropping things as I’m going to sleep, often waking me up in a panic, which causes me to not sleep. These have been a huge help. I put them in when I go to bed to read, and I’ve been sleeping like a baby. They don’t cancel sound completely but they deaden it, like you’re hearing under water, so for me it’s enough to take away any noisy shocks. I had to play around to get the most comfy fit and used the smallest buds in the end (they come with different sizes so you can adjust them, you don’t have to buy a different size) and I do find them a little uncomfortable in the night because I’m a side sleeper, so I often wake up after a few hours to take them out. This is getting better so I think it may just be a case of getting used to them. Overall, great value, they’ve really helped and I think I’ll take them with me now for air travel and similar.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersOverwhelmed at a large social event I need a break away in another room. It was still loud and annoying me in there, luckily I had my loops so could tune out from that and regather myself. They just quieten things down enough to focus for me. When someone came to check on me I heard them come and it was easy take out one and talk.
I also use them at home when there’s too much noise. I can hear my door or someone call me. But not all the back round noise. I can hear my heartbeat. I can talk to someone with them in and only have take one out if they are quiet. I use these often. Easy to sleep in. Easy to clean.

I rarely write reviews but I felt the need to review this item as it’s honestly so great. I’m sensitive to wind and air con and often have ear pain. I also dislike loud noises like our fish tank and the cinema, for example. I ordered these as a test and they’re wonderful – I can still hear people talking to me, cinema noises, my cat meowing etc, but the intensity of the noise is reduced to a manageable level. Plus the fact that my ears are covered had lead – I think – to no more ear pain. Further notes :

    – the case is fantastic – hasn’t broken or damaged at all
    – for those who say they lose them – the default size they come in is M, but the pack includes 3 extra sizes, so it’s worth exploring those.

I’ve used many different types of earbud as I sleep during the day after night shifts so if it’s noisy, I need help blocking things out. I recently went camping and when it rained, it was LOUD! I popped these in and they reduced the noise hugely. They didn’t make things go silent, but it helped a lot. You still get the sound of your blood moving that you get with all earbuds, but they were comfy. They fit completely inside your ear, so when you lie on your side, it isn’t digging or pressing in. They’re easy to get out too with the little hoop handle. Not the best on the market, I find the wax ones you can mold are my favourite, but they’re not permanent, so these are a close second. The little store box they come in is a pain to get open though! Expect to lose some nails!

Never liked the idea of ear plugs and always worried they’ll got lodged or lost in my ears. Was drawn to these as the shape looks like a familiar ear bud whilst also providing a loop or hook to make sure they’re easy to use. And boy are they!! They are super comfortable to pop in and out. They are comfortable to lean on and sleep in. I would largely forget they’re there if it wasn’t for me waking up confused as to why the nosie is soo mute.

On that note, they do not SILENCE the room. But this is surprisingly welcome. I can have a conversation with the wife and mostly still hear her. I can hear my alarm. I can hear the doorbell (but not knocking). But somehow despite hearing immediate, near noises, it cancels out the low drone of cars passing my window, or the hotel air conditioning or fan. Between this and and an eye mask you’ll feel shut off but never in danger. I thought I wanted total silence but massively see the benefit of this strength of ear defender.

Hugely recommend! Will defo return for more if these degrade with time. Two months in and nothing but positivity from me!

Purchased these a week ago having used foam ones for years and also recently purchased a competitor silicone reusable ones these are my defo favourite. I was sceptical as they seem to be the “cool hip” ones to have but they actually do the job well and are extremely comfortable. I am a very light sleeper and partner snores loudly yet these block all noise out yet can still hear alarm and if someone was really shouting loud for help. Would recommend them also very easy to insert into right place and remove I love the little ring feels much safer than the smaller competitors ones I bought which always felt like the they were going to get lost inside my ear but not these !

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersIf you’re buying these for general noice reduction out and about or to protect your ears from loud music these are perfect. If you’re buying these for sleep like me then they are good BUT with some drawbacks.

First of all if you want totally noise cancelling earplugs these aren’t for you, once you get the right fit they DO reduce background noice some but not as completely as your traditional foam plugs. So depending on how far away the noise is they may work or not work for you. If you’re someone that needs absolutely no noise to drift off then I wouldn’t recommend, if you’re someone who gets woken by noise/partner waking up then give them a go. They are however extremely comfortable and wont rub your ears after long wear plus they’re totally re useable and easy to clean too.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEarplugs work great, bought for the tube and music nights etc. Also used when sleeping, and they’re super comfortable for that also.

However, the case is cheaply made, and the clasp has already broken – so I’ve lost my plugs 🙁 bought this pair as the same thing happened to the last case (and lost them), but after a year, rather than a couple of week.

So am returning the case to get a refund.

I don’t normally write reviews (I know.. everyone says that) but I feel compelled to do so because these earplugs are brilliant. I had been using earhub disposables for several years but they really started to irritate and cause problems and I can’t be without earplugs so I thought I’d give these a go. They are a bit tricky to insert at first and take a bit of getting used to but they are clever, they don’t go in as far as other earplugs so are less likely to irritate, but still do a great job and are washable so less throw away plastic. I would highly recommend. Thanks Loop earplugs.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI bought these because I had become aware that post pandemic I find noisy situations a bit overwhelming and I was about to take my first post COVID flight. What I love is that you can still hear everything – so you can still orientate yourself within a space and you can hear people approaching from behind – but noise levels are reduced enough to make it a bit less stressful and less anxiety inducing. Found them really helpful on the flight and kept them in in the terminals too. I did take at least one out when speaking to people as I didn’t find it very easy to gauge how loud I was speaking. I have tried using them at night too but found that they dug in a little bit on the side I was laying on but I guess it depends how you sleep. My little case also broke after not that much use too which was a bit disappointing.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo after reading the reviews I was a little sceptical, but I was desperate as the other half’s snoring was driving me mad to the point I was looking at pillows!!!!!
So initially when I tried them and was comfortable with the fit , I was concerned I could still hear certain things. BUT I took them away with us on holiday and my god I never heard him snore or if it was that loud the loops muffled it so much it didn’t bother me. A fluke maybe as on holiday but nope, back home and they work a treat. AND they are so comfortable to wear. Others I’ve tried end up hurting my ears but loop are so soft hardly know I’ve got them in.
Would i recommend yep definitely. And cheaper than a life sentence for murder. Lol

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve only used these once so far (only had them 2 days) but the time I have I’m very impressed. I use them for sleeping to block out our neighbours tv noise. I’ve used other sorts of earplugs but they have hurt my ears, been difficult to use or been uncomfortable for sleeping. These are comfy to sleep in (I’m a side sleeper) easy to use and to clean. I’ve got quite small ears but the xs tips provided were perfect for me. I lift the top of my ear to put them in and wiggle them slightly until the loop bit is facing backwards. They create an air tight vacuum type feeling. Just twist them gently to release them so you don’t damage your ears. I’m buying another spare pair soon incase our naughty cats pinch or bat the little case somewhere.

  40. Lynn La says:

     United Kingdom 🇬🇧

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersThese are surprisingly excellent re-usable earplugs.

I use earplugs to sleep. For years, I used the orange 3M memory foam plugs, which work well and are available in bulk, but I have been wanting something that generates less waste for a while.

I tried the Flare Audio spherical plugs, which were dreadful. They didn’t make a snug fit and the stems were poorly attached. I had to fish them out of my ears with tweezers a few times. They were shockingly bad all-round.

I have a pair of custom-moulded earplugs. Sadly, the company that did the fitting (who I won’t name here, but they also fit Ultimate Ears IEMs, equally badly) botched the fitting so badly that they’re painful to use. If I use them, the cumulative pain in my ears wakes me up after a few hours. They weren’t cheap, either. I’m sure that these would be a great option if well-fitted, if you could afford the up-front cost, but sadly mine were not.

Finally, I tried these. Given how inexpensive they are, I wasn’t expecting much. However, I couldn’t have been more wrong. They’re supplied with different-sized tips to try. The handles are well-secured to the tips, are useful for easy extraction but get out of the way easily if you’re a side sleeper.

It took me a couple of days to get used to fitting them perfectly without pressure weirdness. If you accidentally produce a slightly uncomfortable vacuum in the ear canal, you can pull gently on your earlobe to temorarily break the seal to let the pressure equalise. Other than that, no problems at all. They come with a tiny case, which is useful, especially if you need to throw them in a washbag for travel.

Sound isolation is on a par with my old 3M orange memory foam earplugs, or the the custom fitted pair. No earplugs will give you complete isolation due to effects like bone conduction and sound travelling through fleshy parts of your ear. However, they’re good, you won’t find much better in earplugs. If you need massive sound isolation in a non-sleeping situation, consider a 3M Peltor headset, they’re fantastic.

I’ll probably buy a spare pair for travel, in case I lose them, so I always have some on the bedside table at home. That’s probably the biggest vote of confidence I can give. I’ve had this pair for a shade over six months now, and they’re still as good as they were on the first day.

They’re affordable, resuable, comfy and provide decent sound insulation. I’m very happy that I can stop looking now!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThese are a pretty average pair of earbuds. I bought them hoping they would cancel out snoring and loud noises during the night. They don’t fully cancel out persistent or loud sounds, it only dulls them slightly. That being said, I do find I have slept better when wearing them. You can hear yourself breathing more than anything, which helps divert your attention from any unwanted noises around you. The buds themselves are super comfy, and there are different sized attachments for you to test out to find the perfect fit for your ears. They come in a small case too so you won’t lose them!

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersI was going to write a 1 star review, but then I tried size L tips (sizes XS-R made no difference). I thought to myself ‘there is no way L size will work for woman’s ears”, but as it turns out these are the only one’s that actually worked for me and feel secure in my ears. I’m giving them 4 stars just because they don’t cancel/block the noise completely or enough for my liking and you can definitely feel them in your ears like they are nice and soft, but I don’t think there will be ever a moment when I’m like ‘oh I totally forgot I had these in my ears’ which is why falling asleep with them will take some getting used to. It’s a shame they didn’t include foam tips with quiet version. I wouldn’t mind paying more. Hopefully this is something the company could improve in updated future model. I still think they are worth the price tho it’s 20 so you can’t expect them to be perfect. They also provide a variety of colours which is a nice touch and unlike standard earplugs these should last.
UPDATE: so during the day they might not block enough sound for my liking, but they are great for sleeping which is what they were designed for in a first place and after 2 nights they are now much more comfortable. I guess its like with a new pair of shoes you have to break them in. I still think they should include foam tips with quiet version.

Golden Review Award: 126 From Our UsersI have been looking for really good pairs of ear plugs for two reasons –
    1 – Sleeping
    2 – Quieting the world!
    – I struggle with overstimulation and get easily overwhelmed as have a High Sensitivity Syndrome (yes it’s odd but it is a trait not a disorder!) so noises can be a real trigger which means I needed something that can allow me to still hear things but have noise cancelling of what is outside of my immediate and direct focus at times of concentration or when I feel overwhelmed.
I also currently suffer from insomnia and really struggle to sleep because of severe pain as I wait on surgery for my lower digestive system AND my husband has Crohns in his oesophagus and suffers from sleep apnoea (yes, what a mighty pair we are!!) In turn his health problems have brought on horrendous snoring on his part and has grown increasingly noisier that it practically vibrates the bed – I swear he didn’t snore when I met him 2 years ago! – So I actually am resenting how well he sleeps and gets to sleep in seconds as I lay awake and frustrated from not sleeping from either A) Pain B) Overwhelmed and frantic mind C) His deafening snores…. mostly C right now but we are newly weds and I don’t have the heart to give him the boot to the sofa … yet!
So, I’ve tried all sorts of ear plugs alongside sleeping medications, from simple hard and soft foam ones in various shapes and sizes that supposedly suit all (which they don’t) to waxes which I can momentarily panic in my tiredness that they’ll never come out as they crumble trying to remove or get caught in my piercing so not going that route again! so then I moved onto the flexible rubber sized rings similar to headphones which were fairly good for a while but they stuck out of my ears, so being a side sleeper, and with having a Daithe piercing for previous migraine suffering (oh yes previously ….as daithe has 100% cured them!) so I can end up with sore and tender ears and have found myself waking up holding them having taken them out in the night unconsciously and my ears hurting and still a snoring husband….who is snoring away loudly right now in bed as I type this in the living room it almost echoes down the stairs!!
So I bought both the quiet and extra loops to try them both and use for sleep and awake time for matters mentioned above – I admit I was sceptical they’ll be any better as so many products up themselves or bribe people for top reviews so I thought better to expect worse and not feel yet more disappointment… but they’re absolutely phenomenal at blocking out noises I am genuinely impressed!
They sit so comfortably in my ears I don’t feel them at all really and have no ache whatsoever when I wake up and they’re still in my ears – yay! They fit so well around my piercing and keep the seal where some harder ones have broken the seal because of the piercing. They can be a bit of a pain to replace the ear pieces and get new ones on as I needed to go down a size with my tiny ear holes (which go with my tiny head!) so was quite fiddly forcing it on the tip and good luck doing the whole ‘getting them inside out to attach’ bit – perhaps I just don’t have the fine motor skills or dexterity!! – but other than that, they’re very comfortable, they drown out most of my other half’s snoring – not all as he is SO LOUD that my kids hear him in the conservatory when eating breakfast!! Yet – I could hear him talking clearly enough sat next to me with them in and he speaks very quietly (ironic I know, I wonder how a man such as he is capable of snoring so loud!) so frequency wise they’re pretty amazing – they even dull my noisy kids running riot pretending to be youtubers or floor is lava at 5am in the morning and more but I still hear the BibleProject podcast go off for our mourning routine on alexa! Now I almost don’t want to take them out to face a noisy reality again so definitely sticking with these from now on – with a lifetime warranty and knowing they work – why wouldn’t I?

Signed off from a very happy and at peace with the world once again (for a little while at least…) wife!
