Ich habe mir dieses Nietmutternzange gekauft um Einziehmuttern auf meiner Motorradbhne am Wohnmobil zu setzen.
Die Zange liegt gut in der Hand, und macht einen stabilen Eindruck,
Die Handhabung und das wechseln der Spindeln ist sehr einfach
Die Benutzung bei M8 Einziehmuttern erfordert schon etwas Kraftaufwand , bei den kleineren Gewindemuttern ist es wahrscheinlich einfacher.
Sicherlich kein Profiwerkzeug, die kosten ja auch leicht das 5fache, aber fr mich im Hobby Bereich wirklich ein klasse Werkzeug.
Einziehmuttern sind fr alle gngigen Gewindemasse ausreichend vorhanden. Schn wre es gewesen wenn dafr noch etwas Platz
im Werkzeugkoffer gewesen wre.
Ich denke das Preis/Leistungsverhltnis ist sehr gut, und ich wrde mir diese Zange auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen.

Rivet nuts are an amazing invention, I’ve used a tool for quite some time for these as they are very handy but the tool I was using wasn’t great when it came to inserting them and clamping them down properly. This tool on the other hand is a breeze, much bigger and easier to use and fits those rivet nuts perfectly!
We needed a tool to fit M10 rivet nuts. This does it perfectly, easy to use
Needed the tool to add an awning to our campervan as the roof has just holes though the roof to the back. It’s converted so we can’t get to any nuts we would normally be able to. Holes where perfect for M8 rivnuts to drop straight into and allow us to fix the brackets as intended.
Super quick and easy to set up, felt study and no flex when using. Not a tool that will be used everyday but well worth the money for a few jobs
I used this tool for the first time this week, and it was very easy to operate even with very simple instructions. I would only suggest that they add what size of drill bit should be used for each of the included rivnuts, but if you’re using this tool, you’re probably more than capable to figure it out on your own. Also, required bolt size should be listed, for example, when using an M6 rivnut, what drill bit size and bolt should be used (M6x1.0 or 1.25 or 1.5 threads). Tool works flawlessly, and included rivnuts work as they should. Highly recommend if you are constantly drilling and replacing rivets install a rivnut instead!

Unfortunately the 3mm head broke so I contacted Lytool customer service with a view to purchasing a replacement part. They promptly emailed back to say they were waiting for new stock but would send as soon as they had it. 1 week later a complete set turned up at no cost. this tool is excellent for doing the smaller sizes, not sure about anything over 5mm as we have a pneumatic puller for them.
Bought to get round body panel access problems on my Land Rover rebuild. I avoided the cheapest, assuming more means better quality. Looks like a well constructed tool. Not yet tested in real life yet but works as described on test pieces.

Strong, well made, and easy to use, and a good price too. Hopefully they will last many years. The case is good too, and there are lots of rivets for most applications.
I have used it to fit M8 and M5 nuts and did not have any problems. Good quality and comes in a case the rivet nuts are supplied separately in bags which were kept in a cardboard box.
Quick read of setup, easy to use plenty of rivnuts to get you started. Needed this for Van racking install, just what I needed, value for money as would of cost me hundreds of sss to pay professional installer to refit racking in new van. Arrived on time in handy case. Would recommend.
Inside the box the main tool and accessories are packed inside a nice plastic protective case and the riv nuts are in resealable bags in a cardboard box and labeled for size.
All the riv nuts are standard metric sizes so easy to source extras and find pilot drills for.
In terms of operation its really quick and easy to change between sizes and to operate you just screw a riv nut on the end of the tool with the legs open, Insert it into a pre drilled hole and close the legs to pull it back and expand it.
Just as a note if you wind the riv nut right onto the full depth of the tool you do not need to fully close the legs, so dont over do it or force them you will feel when they are at the correct torque as expansion is very easy.
I used this tool with great success to mount metal back boxes to a steel plate where I normally have to drill and tap the threaded holes manually I was able to just drill a hole and fit a riv nut in its place.

The tool came in a sturdy cardboard box. Inside is the blow moulded case containing the tool itself and a cardboard box featuring bags of inserts.
The tool case is fine and holds all the attachments snugly.
The cardboard box full of inserts would have been nice if it was an assortment case that allows easy access to inserts and topping up.
There are instruction and additional sheets in the box with the tool. They are slightly difficult to understand, but the tool works as these tools usually do, so a quick watch of a youtube video is probably the best way forwards.
First Impressions:
There’s no instruction on ideal hole size for the inserts anywhere I could see.
Fortunately the inserts conform to the usual standard, so drill sizes are available online in hardware manufacturer’s catalogues. The other alternative is to measure the widest diameter of the insert you want to use, and then drill only very slightly bigger than that. For example, the M6 insert had an outside diameter of 9.9mm and the preferred hole size is 10mm.
There’s also no instruction on maximum sheet thickness for gripping. This is a couple of mm down from where the serrated portion of the insert ends. If used on material too thick then there is insufficient insert left to fold down over the sheet and grip.
With that out of the way, changing adaptors to set the different size inserts was simple and painless.
With holes drilled for the M4 and M6 inserts I proceeded to set them both. The tool worked well and gave a good grip, even in soft material like aluminium and plastic (as pictured). They do of course work best in sheet steel.
The inserts were very easy to set, without having to apply too much force, so the mechanical advantage of the setting tool is sufficient.
There’s enough inserts included in the box for a fair amount of home use. The variety is nice also, and I shouldn’t need to buy more inserts for a good while.
Overall impressions:
While not a tool I’ll use every week, it will come in handy when required, and despite its reasonable price point it’s sturdy and works well with no issues noticed yet.
I’m looking forward to getting plenty of use out of it, and hope it proves to be as reliable after the 1000th use as it was after the first few.
Had never used one before but seen one used. Thought it would be ideal for a job I had coming up and turned out it was. Thought for the price it wouldn’t be as solid and robust as it actually is and it fits nice and snugly into its sturdy case so feels like it should last a lifetime. May not be my most commonly used tool but definitely handy to have.
I was slightly concerned about the size of the tool, but I have found the tip of the tool can be adjusted so if used in tight spaces the handle does not need to be fully spread apart when pulling up the rivets. and the handles are very easy to control even when using with the smaller M3 thread.
Another big plus is the rivet nuts themself, the outer diameter is a common metric size so no special drill bits required to get a positive fit.

My miss was mounting about old BBQ isn’t stable folding apart etc. We need to buy new one She said. BBQ fixed in 5min so decided to add some brackets in garage in the meantime,no I look what to brake so I could play with new toy. So easy to use right drill bit make a hole rivet squeeze and job well done. Never again self-drilling screws. Solid secured connection.

It arrived quick with everything needed. Just completed a test fit in the shed and I’m very impressed. Tightened an m6 cap hea into the rivnut and could not get it to spin. The blow moulded case seems durable enough, unlike most. Would definitely recommend.
Tool arrived in a nice plastic box which contains different sized rivnut adapters and spare rivnuts. Tested the m8 size on a job I had and item works just like it should. Haven’t changed heads yet butt looks easy enough to do. Very happy with purchase.
