I am really happy with my gazebo. It was fairly time consuming to assemble but easy too as every piece was numbered. I do have 2 niggles though and therefore I have dropped one star. Firstly not all of the legs are dead straight and therefore it stands a teeny bit bowed. The other problem I have is with the sides. Neither the photos or description tell you how many side pieces there are, and because of the location of mine I wanted individual square sides. This in fact comes with just 2 long side pieces which cover one whole side which attaches along the frame around the legs, then meets the other piece at the halfway point (creating the door). This means the sides are unsuitable for me unless I take a pair of scissors to them to make it fit my needs. With all that said I still am really happy with my purchase and I think it looks very neat on my deck. I have had no problems with it leaking – quite the opposite in fact – as it protects my furniture from the rain and therefore I can leave the cushions on all summer, whatever the weather throws at us.
I finally put this together after dreading it for the last couple of months. I had nothing to fear as it was relatively easy to put together with clear(ish) instructions. It took me about 2.5 hours to finish and I only needed help with holding a couple of pieces together while I put in screws. It seems VERY sturdy even against some of the high winds we saw today. My only complaint, and not really a complaint is that I thought it had mesh so I can hide from the mosquitoes but still have a breeze (it doesn’t have mesh). Other than that though, it has a good price point and is working out for me to keep the mosquitoes and flies away while I day drink in the summertime.
This is definitely not designed for the summer. It is like a sauna when it’s hot out. Even when you open the sides. You will need a fan or mosquito net for the hot months. It is easy to build but is a 2 person job.
This gazebo takes a little longer to put up than a pop up but is much sturdier and good if you’re going to leave it up I hope you can get new covers for this then it should last a long time
We’ve had a few of these metal gazebos over the years. I’ve found that in a strong wind, all of them will eventually fail at the joints (hence why I’ve had a few). This one is similar in that it’s definitely not heavy duty. It’s also on the small side which is what I wanted. It’s pretty tedious to put together, and has odd steps. It took hours. But you will end up with a decent looking source of shade. We aren’t using the sides, just the top, as honestly it made it look cheap. I may also get some sandbags as I doubt the stakes will keep this in place. And for winter based on experience it would be best to remove the top or it will likely shred.
This took a while to get up but it is up and it is sturdy and durable. I like the windowed walls. Almost looks like I am sitting in a church looking out. The price is a little high, hence the reason for the 4 star rating.
Generally, with two people, it was fairly easy to set up. Nothing was missing, nothing arrived broken or out of place; However, a good gust of wind threatened to take it away, catching on the roof portion, so we had to take it down the next day. We live in an RV, so while this would be great for putting up SPECIFICALLY for gatherings, where we will actively be there to keep it from flying away, I don’t think it’s necessarily great for leaving up year-round. Not without further securing to the ground. Everything seems made decently well, however, and if you have an event that isn’t on a blustery day this will work well!!
