Network broke on the motherboard, rather than get a new motherboard I brought this adaptor which works just fine.
Works on LG C1 TV
This works perfect on my lg c1 tv the only problem is the tv is only 2.0 so you can only get around 300 megabytes because of the tv but that’s 3 times faster than the standard port on the tv

Purchased for a friend who’s laptop does have wired network connection. Plugged in, and it just works.
I'm pretty sure it's plastic
I bought in white (it was the cheapest colour option) works fine plugged into a laptop running mint. Pretty sure it’s supposed to have a metal shell but it feels and sounds like plastic. Otherwise it’s fine. If it breaks I’ll try to update the review.
Works perfectly
Ordered this due to latest surface pro update issues that cause my usual wifi driver to fail to connect remotely. I m grateful that this simple adapter that connects from my surface pro 3 usb port to the eternet cable to my router without any hiccups. The only issue now is that I have used up my main usb on my surface pro. But other than that, it works perfectly fine

Does what it needs to do
Work with a couple of laptops and none of them have an ethernet port, this makes it possible to use one when on the go or moving between rooms/office space. Nice weighty, quality feel to it, should survive being lugged around and taken in and out of a laptop bag.

Great produc
Does exactly what it says. Used on my smart tv to get full speed hard wired internet as the Ethernet port on the tv has limited speed. This supersedes that gives full speed possible

This item was plug and play, and more importantly, produced the advertised gigabit speeds as advertised. Some other vendors claim thier product to have gigabit speed, but the adapter maxes out at 100mb – this blazes away at the full 1000mb per second! Five stars.
