The teet that this set comes with is far to hard for my newborn. She had no idea what to do with it and gagged when trying to feed from it. She took to normal tests a lot better. The bottles and freezer bags work brilliantly.

The extra bottles really are useful for storing milk in the fridge. It cut down on how many storage bags I was using substantially. The only thing is the nipple that attaches to the bottles didn’t suit my baby, it’s an odd shape compared to Mam or Tommee Tippee bottles and he didn’t latch to it well despite having no issues with other bottles.

Would really recommend these if bought any of the medela’s breast pumps . You gonna need this set for keeping your milk nice and fresh . Really nice and practical packaging also. Great value for the money

Brilliant. Got these and Mam anti colic bottles which all leaked eventually. My newborn loves this and is mix fed. He still can latch on despite having mostly bottles and I put it down to the calma teet.

I bought this set to with the Medela hand pump a friend had given me. We were looking to find a product that meant I could breastfeed my one month old and give him the occasional bottle of required, the calma teat has worked really well with him taking a bottle and then going back to breastfeeding with no issues. I would definitely recommend this product for combination feeding.

We had to mix feed our baby because of Kristine jaundice and I immediately thought there was a design flaw in the standard bottles and teats where the baby gets free flowing, fast flowing milk. The breasts are nothing like this and it felt like force feeding. These calms lids however are very different and baby has to work for the feed, flow is slower. I would never use any other lids for feeding my baby.

Can’t really fault them, my son does not overly like drinking from them but the bottles are good, storage bags are very useful for my wife expressing. We have the pump that goes with the bottles and it all works really well, good value in my opinio

Really great set, the bottles could be easier to clean but the teet is so much better than other standard ones. The valve motion allows my baby to regulate what he is drinking, he is a strong sucker and needs this to control the milk. Really easy to use and sanitise too.

Smaller bottles for younger feeds, storage bags are great (don’t buy more until you need them!) medela Calma teets are fab, initially more expensive but don’t need to change them as baby gets older so better value.

Used these bottles with our first baby and really liked them. The calma teats were perfect to use when expressing. What I would say is that he took a few goes to get used to it. However, I’m sure that this goes with trying out any new bottle.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCould not live without this given that I’m currently having to produce milk like a possessed dairy cow. Easy to use & clean. Great selection of products in the range. Very quiet pump & love that I can take it to work and use it with batteries.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThe bottles and the Calma teat are excellent. That’s what I bought it for. They really work and clean and sterilise well. The only negative about this set is the milk storage bags which are terrible to pour the milk into and out of. If you want milk bags, buy the Lansinoh ones Lansinoh Breastmilk Storage Bags (50 Pieces) . Much better!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHigh quality as always by Medela. My kid is almost exclusively fed by my wife, but when it happens that I need to step in, these work flawlessly.
The bottles are very good and work with the Medela pumps as you would expect. The Calma, as always, works very well (depends on the baby I guess).
Recommended kit, very practical and functional for a good price. Hard to beat.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersMedela it is for me the best bottle for babies out there. I also have the electric breast pump (highly recommended) and I believe the Medela calm teat it is ideal if you want your baby not to come of the breast, as it emulates the same effort they have to make to suck from the breast. This lot is good value and perfect for milk storage. For me it makes my life easier and I involve my partner in the feeding of my baby even though my little one is 100% breastfed.

The teets are great for babies struggling to take the breast but I am a little disappointed with the quality of the plastic that seems thinner and weaker than other brands. The clear plastic lids are already cracked which is a shame.

Can use them about 20 times each. So much easier than the electric steriliser we have, which takes ~1 hour to steam contents then cool down. this takes 3 minutes, and takes up 0 space. Electric steriliser will be freecycled shortly.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersLovely set of bottles that fits my Medela breast pump and includes a Calma teat.
My baby came out of the hospital with such a bad case of nipple confusion that she couldn’t nurse from my breast AT ALL. She didn’t know how to suck on breasts and as such couldn’t get any milk from them. The Calma teat helped her a bit in that it goes further into the mouth than the average bottle teat and requires a different kind of sucking action. It also prepares baby for what happens when the milk comes by using a large opening at the end of the teat rather than a pinprick one, so she gets used to large volumes in short bursts.
    It helped us a lot.

The strength of the pump is good and seems quite similar to the pumps used in the hospital (the symphony). The pump is not painful and does not cause pain. It has dual feature of both an initiate and maintain setting which replicates the way a baby would feed.

It produces a good flow particularly when compared to a cheaper alternative own brand that I used previously and it is not too noisy.

The only thing that stops this product from getting five stars is that it does occasionally lose suction occasionally.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAll good I am not a fan of the lid with the hole in the middle, pieces become to many and when you are in a rush and want to avoid spillage this doesn’t help at all.

If you are expressing to freeze often, then these bags are great and convenient. However you are essentially paying for a little paper tape that allows you to hook the bag onto your breast pump. If you were so minded you could buy cheaper bags and fashion your own hook, which is why I knocked off a star. However I am expressing a lot and the convenience factor warrants the price for me.
