Christmas gift for a two year old. Even the seven year old enjoyed helping with building. One of the toys we play with over and over. Bright colors, fun slide, silly peek a boo animals.

This great toy for our one-year old’s first birthday gift. He absolutely loved it. The animals are so cute! The underwater theme is also a really good idea! The set includes 2 Peek A Blocks, 42 big building blocks. Also, your children can try to build their own shapes and develop their thinking and fine motor skills. Overall very fun toy. Excellent value for money and would make an ideal birthday present. Recommend it!

As we are having to build up a selection of toys for visits from our grand daughter this box was ordered because it looked so versatile. Yes, the blocks are big and solid with every chance of surviving being sucked and chewed. The initial construction instructions were needed (by adults!) but once demonstrated the colourful items caught her interest. Then taking the blocks to pieces and rearranging them will be the excitement for future visits.

I knew this type of toy will always turn up popular but the idea of adding another heap of plastic to our household items did not sit well with me. And for that price I would never have bought it, honestly.
But I have to admit it has its appeal – kids like it, the edges are sharp at the bottom of each block but are rounded elsewhere (apart from some parts) and the 2 animal figures add to the fun. This toy will appeal to budding engineers and builders and will have young demolition team highly entertained too, at least for the first 10 mins.
With this type of toys my advice is, buy only one. Kids get very easily tired of too much choice of the same kind of thing. It’s you who thinks they will play more actively if you add few more sets, but they will just get overwhelmed and dump it altogether. This way this set could probably work, it has some potential for letting all sorts of things rolldown, these blocks are huge. But it will never have the same appeal as those plastic garages that can be built way up high and little cars can zoom down at breakneck speed.

The box comes with 42 big coloured building blocks, 2 ultra adorable Peeks a Boo blocks, 4 slides, a launcher and a cute spinning octopus.

The blocks are easy to build, so even small kids won’t have any problem playing with them. They only fall apart too easily, which can be frustrating for small kids. There are also no small parts, which could be swallowed.

I would just like to have a bigger variety in building the slides, as it has only the one configuration from the picture. For this reason feels the price a bit too high.

But the toddlers love it and that’s the most important.

So happy with the quality of these mega blocks !! They’re a thick and sturdy, easy to build with but equally strong once built ! We got this for my 3 year old and he hasn’t stopped playing with it since ! He just loves the peeka blocks that roll down they’re the perfect size for small hands and easy to put on and spring off. So chuffed ! Would highly recommend.

Like other Mega Blocks products the quality of the underwater adventure is also amazing! This special design contains 42 big blocks and my toddler loves the turtle and shark peek a blocks! She puts one on the octopus and another one on the launcher and press the lever down to release the peek a blocks then wait to see the two ways surprise! One goes from the way to hit the fish and another one spin the octopus! Or both of them go the same way! We also have the traditional mega blocks which we can mix them with this one and make it more adventurous! The box also contains an instruction book to show how to build! But you can also use your imagination to improvise it! My toddler is in love with it!

The only thing that I wish this adorable product had, was a bag for storing them! Otherwise it’s a perfect choice for little ones gifts specially Christmas Gift!

I love mega blocks as they are lovely and chunky for little fingers. I hadn’t seen the peek a boo ones before and these are definitely a favourite in this house! These are recommended for age 1+ but the 10 month old is already playing with them even taking them in the bath with him! These are a great starter to work those fine motor skills and to encourage imaginative play. A great price for a quality product that should be in every child’s toy box!

    My daughter loves this!

She loves the peek-a-boo shark and turtle and pushing (and sometimes flinging) them down the slides. She also loves trying to take apart my wonderful construction effort. You child will love this! My daughter has been happily playing with this for over 45 mins!!
The only very small negative (or suggestion) is that you have to build it first. Instructions are provided but no toddler could follow them (they are easy to follow, I’m just being honest about the concentration and ability to follow instructions of a 1 year old). What I mean is, you – the adult – will have to build it. Try to do this when there isn’t an excited kiddo at your heels.

This megabloks toy has a cute underwater theme. At first I wasn’t sure if it was designed to go in the bath, but no I think it is just a water theme rather than a water toy.
We have a few megabloks sets already and the good thing is that the bricks are all compatible so we can use existing to build onto this set. It has some cute picture blocks, crab, fish and seaweed and also 2 special characters- a turtle and a whale- these move their fins when they are pushed up and down on a block.
This is a really nice set and we are a big fan of megabloks, although it is quite short lived, usually age 1-2.5 and I feel this set is quite expensive for what it is.

This Mega peek a block underwater adventure is great entertaining game for toddlers to play and enjoy.

My kids loved using it as building blocks and it was keeping them entertained. Everyone was trying to build their own shapes and it’s great way to develop their mind skills.

It comes with 42 big building blocks so they can
place the adorable Peek A Blocks turtle or shark on the octopus and the other on the launcher, then they press down on the lever to send the Peek a blocks down the slide.

Is very easy to build but my kids prefer to build it as individual blocks instead of sliding the characters down the slides.

Keeps my daughter and son busy building and rebuilding the blocks.

Is safe for toddlers and children, it doesn’t have small parts. The colours are great for them to learn and count.

Is little bit pricey for just blocks, but the kids love it.

Overall is great fun game for toddlers to play.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great building blocks !!!

This colourful and playful Mega Bloks Peek A Blocks Underwater Adventure set is great for small hands. My little ones loving playing with this set, it’s easy to put together and comes with a few different little accessories. The little animals are incredibly cute, and when pushed onto the brick they ‘peeka boo’ – this play set is really good value for money and great quality, the design is really fun and my children love it. Builds on thinking and motor skills, ideal for children. Ideal for a gift or treat, would recommend the Mega Bloks brand based on this product, it’s keeping them entertained. A simple but fun set! The little animals can be rolled and tumbled down the slide.

A good set for little hands and great for their motor skills. It has a wide range of things to ‘push and pull’ to keep little ones entertained for a while.
The kids enjoyed playing with these.

    Great little set for kids!
The peek a boo is my son’s favourite part! He can do it with his hands or with one of the bricks!

He carries them around and rolls them like a ball then shows us the peek a boo!

The set is very easy to put together and simple to set up, the only thing I am a bit disappointed with is they come apart soooo easily.

Just knocking them over and your creation falls apart so the set up is no more.

Frustrating for little ones who want to roll them down the slides. I mean children are the most gentle of creatures so a little bit more hold would be good.

A good starter set to get your child used to putting bricks together with minimal effort then maybe build up to the duplo type which has more resistance.

As a big fan of Mega Bloks, my 5 year old son was delighted to receive this underwater adventure playset, it comes with 2 adorable little sea friends that play peeks boo when placed into the blocks of simply if you push the button on the bottom of them, this play set can be played with as one whole section when all joined together or can also be assembled into separate sections for a differently experience, as an avid little builder my son has enjoyed exploring the different ways this set can be assembled, this toy is very durable and has withstood some knocks and drops with no damage, nice bright colours and cute design, this is a great fun toy that gives lots of entertainment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun, very durable
