Bought these for my grandson he is only two and a half but soon learned how to use them. He has had great fun random stamping. Good clear image . Pleased with my purchase.

I bought this for my 10 year old nephew for his birthday. He is dinosaur mad! I really appreciated the storage box the stamps came in. It’ll make it much easier to keep all the lovely stamps safe for him to enjoy for longer. Great product!

The product is typically child friendly and easy to use use.
It’s a quality product that you’d expect from Melissa and Doug.
The box though could do with a lid, as once the plastic wrap was taken away, it’s very easy for things to fall out especially in the company of an excited three year old.
I purchased this as a present for a family member and the variety of Dino stamps this set contains is delightful and such beautiful quality. A lot of children’s toys are made from plastic which takes away from the charm and sustainability of them. This item supports creativity and fulfils any child (or adult) with an interest for dinosaurs. My only issue with it is that the colouring pencils could’ve been replaced with a selection of more ink pads in different colours since almost everyone already owns pencils. That is just my preference though and I really can’t fault it other than that!

Bought, at a bargain price, for our children to share and has been enjoyed by all three. The 2 year old soon got the hang of stamping dinosaurs everywhere and his older siblings enjoyed colouring in their creations. So far the ink is lasting well and it has been used a lot! The only downside is the lack of a lid for the kit which makes it less stackable / easy to store / transportable. Overall though, the usual Melissa and Doug quality.
My son loves this stamp set, he’s used it almost every day since it arrived.
It comes in a nice box so it can be kept together, however no lid which I think would have improved the product.
There are two stamp pads – blue and red, both worked perfectly.
It comes with a range of dinosaur stamps and a volcano which looks long lasting. It also comes with some pencils which are nicely sharpened and ready to use.
Great value for price, will definitely but this again when ours runs out!
Purchased as a gift for my nephew. Hasn’t been used yet but I know he will love it as he loves his other Melissa and Doug stamp sets and he is a big dinosaur fan.
The great thing about the stamp sets is that they appeal to such a wide age range and both girls and boys. My 2.5 year old loves stamping with her older cousins.
The Melissa and Doug ones are such great quality. The only disappointing thing I find with them though is that they come in a nice wooden box but without a lid so once the cellophane is removed they are just loose in the moulded plastic which sits in the wooden box. It wouldn’t stop me purchasing them but would be so much better if the box had a lid.
The stamps a nicely defined, and the handles sturdy.
I wouldn’t recommend for really young kids, 4+ seems optimistic, more like 5 or 6 + because you need to apply fairly even pressure to get a good stamp.
The box looks nice, but it would definitely benefit from a lid. As it is, you can’t really take it along with you on short trips (very important in my eyes). It’s just for sitting on a desk. Also the child using it needs to be able to clean them in between use otherwise the ink colours transfer from one pad to the other and turn everything into one shade of dark grey.
Overall a good buy, but the few drawbacks stop my from rating 5 stars.
