Kettle works perfectly on our campfire stove. Took approximately 8 minutes to boil water and once it starts whistling you know you’re good to go! We tried a thermo flask for our coffee but it just didn’t do the job compared to freshly boiled water.
    Pros:
    – boils water in good time
    – sturdy and feels safe to use
    – good colour design
    – handle folds down for easy storage
    Cons:
    – water pours a little slowly but nothing major!

What to say about this. well a good time keeping, reliable worker . tends to get a bit heated at times and goes off on a tangent when it’s really angry. You can literally see the steam coming out of it’s ears. However most of the time its calm and collective tends to keep everything bottled up then blows it top. . . It’s a kettle not a member of staff

    A camping kettle
Perfect for boiling water for my brew, just the job. Folding handle is a bonus and not having to remove the whistling cap to pour out the water is also a very good point.

    Lovely kettle
Super little kettle. Big enough for our campe r.i got 4 cups of coffee from kettle.
The handle folds down as well, bonus as I can store it away.

    Very pleased

Nearly didn’t order this after reading the negative reviews but figured we just needed a cheapy kettle for the gas stove while we were camping. We used it several times a day for 2 weeks. Its great, boils quickly, holds enough water for all 4 of our huge enamel camping mugs, handle never got hot once just mildly warm. Easy to chuck in the storage containers with handle folded down. Actually going to really push the boat out(!!) and use at home on our gas cooker! Oh and it makes the most adorable whistle noise but this is my first gas top kettle so nothing to compare it to. Buy it!!

    Men’s kettle?!
I have ordered one of these and it looks OK but it did not inform me until after my order was confirmed that this was a “men’s kettle”. Obviously this is a bit of an oversight because I – a woman – have now got a kettle which presumably won’t work for me. I will have to ask my fianc if he can operate the kettle otherwise it will be a very thirsty camping trip for me.

    Lovely. Doesn't really whistle though..
Well made lightweight yet sturdy kettle. Perfect slim design ideal for a dual burner camp stove.
Bought for my stove down the allotment and the added bonus that it whistles. Especially important as you can be a distance away and a faithful reminder can tell you that your water is on the boil…
    Only problem. It doesn’t whistle….
We’ll, to be honest it does, and you can hear it if you’re 3ft away….just.
Shame really, well made etc but at the price I bought it, I can’t be bothered to go through the hassle of returning it.
It’s a great bit of kit. Should really be marketed without the whistle claims.
