It’s a kettle it boils water and whistles, down side is you can’t see how much you’re putting in it so when it boils it sprays water, so be careful how much you put in it, apart from that it does the job.

works well, fitted on both our camping stoves and performed well, though I never got it to whistle, husband apparently did, maybe I am too impatient for my morning cuppa.

Perfect size for the three of us

First of all as many others have stated the whistle on this is pretty quiet (although for me that’s fine especially when making a cuppa at 3am). Seems sturdy enough although IMO there is a little too much flex in the whistle support and the spring’s strength does tend to bend it slightly so the whistle is not perfectly aligned or flush with the spout. Heats up pretty quick (even on a ceramic oven hob). Compact and ideal for those not wanting to heat up a lot of unnecessary water. Fills easily through the spout.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis little kettle is amazing, it was bought to put on top of a log burner for a cuppa instead of using electric kettle, does the job brilliantly and has a whistle to let you know it’s boiling too. Great value for money and a lovely colour also.

I love taking this kettle camping, it’s great. Does take two people to fill with water though as you have to hold the spout open (and we were pouring from a bottle of water)

Kettle was light and bright, my only criticism was it would only whistle if you pushed the spout top down while it was boiling other wise there was no whistle

Does the job for a cuppa tea or two when camping. But not great for needing to boil water to wash pots etc as small. Would take a few kettle loads to fill a travel sink.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersJust received this little Camping Kettle. Looks OK – very light. Tried it out on my electric cooker to see if it whistles as some reviews said it doesn’t = mine does. On a cooker, it did heat up quite quickly no problem.
It didn’t leak but I did put a bit too much water in so as it boiled, it did overflow out of the spout.
Handle was fine to hold bare hand but again, it was on a small electric plate with no flames licking around it so not sure if it makes a difference as some reviews said the handle got too hot to hold.
It also seems to pour OK out of the spout – one issue is filling it up might be a bit of a pain, only because the lid to the spout / whistle when lifted up to fill is still slightly in the way of the hole and if using water from a bottle, it might be tricky to aim without spills but no big deal.
1 try out on the cooker = kettle did NOT leak from the base as some reviews also complain about.

Will get the full picture once I have tried it out over a fire as as I have never made a campfire before, it will be interesting all the way.

Will update this review after use. 🙂

4.0 out of 5 stars Just tested at home on electric cooker so fa

Ideal lightweight kettle for use on a small stove. Keep it at the allotment to make fresh cupboard while taking a break from the gardening. It did taste the water at first but this cleared up after it had been filled and boiled a few times.

Bought this mainly to brew up in the garden instead of going in and out of the house having to remove footwear etc. It’s a lovely eye catching orange colour, it’s got a whistle. It holds a litre of water, spot on for two mugs of coffee and no wasting gas by boiling too much water!

It fits perfectly on the camp stove. The handle does not get hot , as others have mentioned, just slightly warm.

It’s very robust and sits perfectly and is stable on the stove. Just the job.
