Recently had a stroke in my left eye losing some sight and needed a night light on my landing and at the bottom of my stairs. This is perfect, nice warm glow with dimmer and it doesn’t get hot. Very pleased.
This is a good light. We are getting a new puppy and the light will be in the hall to give her reassurance during the night if she wakes up. The main feature is it has 3 different settings of brightness.

These plugs are better if you want to live light (pun intended) and in some places the sockets on the wall are are too low to the ground and corded lights won’t fit, so this plug-in dimmable lamp is perfect and good value.
I use one of these lights on my engender sockets and they are great too. Perfect!
I’m pleased with my item but puzzled by the price .I tried to reorder the same items for my sister only to find they were much dearer than mine. Why has the price risen from 12 to 19in a day?
This light works well overall, but other than solid red, all the other colour options are brighter than I’d like considering I leave my bedroom door open at night. It’s not a terrible thing. I only have a small apartment, but I thought it would be handy to have a night light in the hallway. I like to use the rotating colours during the day and switch to the solid red at night. I thought there would be enough light during the day for the motion/light detector to shut off the light, but even on the brightest days, it doesn’t. Only when I turn on the hall light does it shut off. It’s not a big deal as it takes so little power, so I’m fine with it for now.
We bought this light for my child’s bedroom. I love that it detects the light in the room and adjusts its own light to it. I also love that you can adjust the level of brightness. The price is just fantastic and it has been very helpful for my child if they wake up in the middle of the night. Cannot recommend it enough, I am very pleased.
Great value, especially as you get two in a pack! They give off a nice warm glow, and automatically turn off when the room is light (provided you’ve not plugged them in in a dark corner!)
They’re small and lightweight, making them really easy to pack if you’re going away and want a nightlight in your hotel room for your child’s benefit.
It’s nice that they can produce colours as well – having both plugged in on either side of a child’s bedroom with a different colour in each gives out a nice level of light.
The only improvement I would make would be to adjust the ambient light level at which these automatically turn on/off at.

Absolutely brilliant works great love the dimmer function! Was annoyed at first thinking it was motion activated but found out it has dusk/dawn activation so switches it self on/off depending on the brightness

I thought this would be too cheap to be good but it is great. My children should not really need a night light but we use it on the landing so that they can navigate to the bathroom.
The switch to alter the brightness is great. We had a different light previously which was too bright and had to be modified to be duller. This light can be brighter or dimmer. I am pleased with this purchase.
This is a good plug-in night light to use in the hallway so u can see the way to the bathroom easily. It plugs into any 3-pin mains socket & has a sensor that turns the light on automatically when it gets dark & off again at dawn. There is a sliding switch to alter the brightness level from 5-80LM. It is ideal if u want to use in a childs bedroom as a reassuring night light without keeping them awake as u can dim the light when they go to sleep. The light is a gentle warm white colour & doesnt glare in your eyes so it could be used at the top of the stairs to improve your safety & means u dont have to leave an overhead light on at night. It is a bargain for the low purchase price, because it will save on the cost of your lighting as it only uses 1W of energy to run.
You cannot adjust the sensitivity of the sensor (this would have been useful) so they come on while it’s still relatively light.
The light is soft & warm & the slider to dim the light output is useful.
The unit is compact.

Don’t yet know how long the bulbs will last, or if they’re replaceable.
Update: 6 months later they’re still working & turning out to be very useful now they have found their ‘place’.
